I was pretty disappointed to see this. We were rated a C on price, but the price was agreed to in advance. We did have to charge as we did come out and would have completed the job if we had been allowed. The quality was rated B, but again the girls were not allowed to finish, our team was turned away before they could complete the work because the customers daughter was upset he had cleaners come without telling her. The customer also said they were loud but he wasn't actually there. Unfortunately vacuums are loud. There isn't much we can do about it. We worked very hard to fit this cleaning in as it is outside of our coverage area and were not allowed to finish the cleaning. We felt we handled the somewhat odd situation as best as we could.

After 25 years of having our house cleaned, this one is the POOREST. All of our housekeepers took pride in their work and left the house completely cleaned and sparkling. The Maid Place makes excuses to NOT CLEAN. Unless you are a perfectionist and live completely picked up, DO NOT HIRE. If a t-shirt and shorts are left in the floor, they will not touch the room: no vacuuming, no dusting, bed left unmade. Shocking! These people are looking for an EXCUSE to NOT CLEAN! So you pay full price and 2 of 4 bedrooms are left uncleanliness. Do not get involved with this shady cleaning service. They do not know the meaning of service, nor do they take pride in their work. Never seen anything like this. What if mechanic left a tire off your car but charged you for 4 new tires?

**Please see pictures we have posted on Yelp of our conversation as well as the mess my girls were too "lazy" to clean.***So, this is a big lie. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Look at my reviews anywhere. Look at the responses. Look at the updates. You can see that if there is ever an issue we are quick to resolve it. If the customer will let us, we do everything possible to make their experience the most important consideration. First of all, this is not the first issue we have had with the general pick up in the house with this customer. I have text messages to prove this, where the customer states she could tell her adult children we can't clean their rooms. We replied that it wasn't a problem, that we would take care of them as long as the pick up was done. Literally just last week, this customer was singing the same ladies praises. I have texts saying this as well. Fast forward to yesterday. The crew goes to the home and cleans the entire home EXCEPT two rooms. The doors were closed to the adult children's (19 and 21 years old) rooms and the pick up was not done. You literally could not see any surface, floor, nothing. The girls called us and said they did the bathrooms but she didn't do the TWO rooms because the pick up was not done. The customer calls yesterday afternoon and starts off normal, saying those rooms were not done. My office manager (I was sitting right there and could hear everything) explained that because of the previous text message and the doors being closed and the pick up not being done she thought they were not wanting them cleaned. From that point forward, he never got a word out. She yelled and was rude and belligerent, insulting our cleaner and us as a company. She then went on to say "I have never been treated like this, I may not use you anymore" and within seconds of that (with him still being unable to get any words out), she was calling us pathetic, scammers, cursing, and hung up on him. She DID NOT pay full price. I called myself and left a message after she hung up apologizing for how she felt, explaining my shock at how quickly the situation escalated (all on her end, again he never got words out). I explained that what he was trying to say is that we would send them back to do the rooms after they were picked up FREE OF CHARGE. We always work with our customers, and to make her happy we would have done that for her. However, instead of calling me back and reasoning like adults, she started bombarding us with text messages. She was name calling, threatening us, etc....I will not be bullied. We did take off $20 for not doing the rooms, even though we had every right to charge full price based on the conversations that we had in writing (via text) about requiring the pick up to be done before we would clean the rooms. I have pictures of why we can't clean the kids rooms. I have snapshots of the texts. I have them posted on Yelp. We go above and beyond to make our customers happy. That is not the norm for most companies.. A lot of owners, given the manner in which she was speaking to me and my staff, would not have given any discount. It wasn't the responsibility of my crew (who has been cleaning for 20 years) to pick all of that up so they could clean. Her cleaning already required 3.5 hours for two people to clean (the equivalent of SEVEN labor hours) each visit, with the initial cleaning actually taking 10.5 labor hours (three people for 3.5 hours). Most customers do not want us touching their undergarments after they have worn them and thrown them on the ground. We tried to make the customer happy, but she can not be pleased. It was a surreal and mind-blowing experience, and honestly I am glad we aren't working with her anymore. We love our customers, but my staff are PEOPLE. They deserve respect. If you don't allow them to try to take care of you because you are making yourself mad over a simple fix (that again was not our fault), we have no place for people like that as customers. When you post about a business in a public forum, you may want to make sure every statement is factual.

We are a bit surprised to see this review. The grade of B on price is of particular concern, as we have actually made a special pricing arrangement that is lower than our normal market rate to accommodate your budget. As far as the scheduling goes, the only reason that we have had to rotate days and times is because of where the home is located and the fact that we are charging a reduced price. We explained that we don't have a lot of clients in Coppell, so in order to meet your budgeted price, we had to pair you up with a team on a day when they are in the area. When one of the two homes that we have in Coppell moved and cancelled service, we had to rotate you over to the day with the other Coppell house. I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with our price, responsiveness, and punctuality, but we are making every effort possible to get you a rate that you are comfortable with.

I felt that it was a bargain for what I got. Everyone was exhausted when they left. All worked constantly. Sinks in bathroom only dissatisfaction as they moved things around instead of taking them off to clean underneath. Still...already have hired them again.

I found them on Angie's List. I used them twice for deep housecleaning and then I used them every month since then for our new house. They deep cleaned two different houses for me using two different groups of people. The ones they used up in McKinney to clean that house were horrible. The group they used to clean my other house was fabulous. It depends on where you live. If you live in North Dallas you will get that crew and they were horrible. If you live in South Dallas you will get the other crew and they were fantastic. They are a little expensive compared from housecleaners I have used. They came way early. They work out of the same location because their corporate headquarters is owned by this couple. They are super-nice and I think it is out of Plano or Allen. They are the ones that are in charge of all the crews. I called them about the crew in North Dallas and they said they could fix it. They gave me a discount on my next cleaning so they honestly did everything they could, it is just that specific crew did a terrible job.

Upon arrival, the two women sent by the Maid Place worked tirelessly to clean my house. They dusted EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE. It was not acceptable. It was a bad experience. However the owner was very nice but I had a bad experience with the two people who came in. The one lady was very nice but apparently she brought her daughter with her and her daughter did not want to work and they were arguing a lot. The mother did the most of the work and I was also trying to help. They ended up spending a lot of hours here but did not accomplish everything. The mother certainly tried very hard, she got some of the work right but after four hours I had to tell them that they have no reason to stay. I like the people in their office. The gentleman that I talked to on the phone was very apologetic. The service cost me $400 and that was not I was anticipating. They did give me a credit, they gave me back $80 on my credit card. That?s still a lot of money and it was disappointing. I felt sorry for the two of them because they don?t understand the concept that I was looking for cleanliness. They didn?t have a lot of things for them to use and I was told that they will use their own products.

Hello, {member name removed}, I am honestly disappointed to see this review, although it is your right as a consumer to post this. However, when you called to express your concerns about what happened on the cleaning, I feel we did everything possible to make it right. I talked with you for an hour from 9-10p after the job was performed, listening to your concerns and trying to come up with a solution that would work for you. Your cleaning actually took five hours- we originally estimated four-, but we credited the additional hour back to you as a gesture of good faith. So as far as a rating of D on the price, I don't understand this as we ended up at exactly the price that was originally quoted ($72/hr. for four hours plus the sales tax). I was very apologetic about the problems, and I offered to send that team or a totally different team to fix any issues- at no additional cost. This offer was declined. As a business owner, those two remedies are usually the way that we try to rectify and make up for our teams not performing up to and exceeding expectations. The review doesn't adversely affect the crew. It only hurts the business, which I am saddened to see since we invested so much time and effort to ascertain the concerns and offer any possible solution to correct that team's shortcomings that day. I wish you the best of luck, and I apologize that your experience was bad enough to warrant this post. We will use your feedback to improve our service going forward.

I had two cleanings scheduled with The Maid Place. A move-out cleaning and a move-in cleaning. The move-in cleaning was performed first and it was on a place that had been cleaned a couple of months before and had not been lived in. The only exception was one bedroom that was recently lived in-which the occupant had a cat so there was cat hair on the floor. I was out of town for the cleaning and so when I returned the following day to check it there was still a good amount of hair on the floor which I communicated to the owner David and he agreed to have someone else come out to re-clean it. The problem was that I was moving in that day. He agreed to send someone out later. The following day was the move-out clean. It took the crew two hours to clean two bathrooms and vacuum one bedroom-which I called David to discuss this. My concern was that -first, as I was paying by the hour-I was told that it took 4 hours to clean the new place (despite it being relatively clean already with the exception of one room which still had hair all over the floor after 4 hours of labor) and now I walk into the old place to find it taking much longer then expected to clean a small portion of the place and the employee cleaning it spent quite some time on his cellphone while I was there. The owner stated that he prefers for someone to be there while they clean -but I feel that shouldn't be necessary. The house cleaners should know what is clean and what isn't. As the customer I shouldn't have to do the job of a manager-making sure that the work is done correctly. My suggestion to the owners/managers is to randomly come out to these jobs and check after the employees -unannounced. Some of these missed items would then get caught by the company and not as a complaint by the customer. I paid for 6.5 hours of work despite the 7 hours and 15 minutes that were recorded. I honestly still feel that cost more than the value of the service given. I'm just not the type to not pay for service even if it's not good. Ultimately, someone was sent back out to the move out location to re clean it.

Good evening, As the owner of the company, I apologize for the issues that occurred. While I do feel that a grade of 'C' is disappointing because of how much I did to try to make it right, it is within your right as a consumer. I would like the record to reflect that I did attempt to immediately send teams back to both locations to correct issues that you presented, which unfortunately did not work out due to scheduling conflicts with your move-in and a few other things that came up with work and travel. I spoke at length with you on 5-29-15 at around 9:30p about the duration of the cleanings, and explained why they took as long as they did. I also agreed to charge you exactly the amount that I quoted initially (6.5 hours for both cleanings), even though the total time required actually added up to 7.25 hours for the two services we provided. I explained that I was doing this as a good faith gesture, and I asked several times if you felt this was a fair compromise. I even stated that if you did not feel that that much time was appropriate that I was open to a counter-proposal or negotiation, and that your happiness was my number one goal. You told me that the original amount that I quoted was an agreeable arrangement, and I was more than happy to do that. To your other point about preferring the client to be present at the time of the re-clean, I did not mean that it was necessary for you to supervise the work. I was trying to make sure that the team addressed all areas that you had issue with, and give you the opportunity to give final approval before we signed off on completion of the job. He actually did return to perform the re-clean, and at that time I received no indication that the work was not finally completed to a satisfactory standard. I am sorry and regretful that despite all of our attempts to rectify the situation, that we were still graded out so low. I certainly understand that there were issues initially, but the way that the review reads limits the narrative about us making every possible attempt to correct our shortcomings and leave you happy with the final result. As with any customer, our goal is the client's satisfaction primarily, and we stop short of nothing to accomplish this goal. I wish you the best of luck, and appreciate your feedback, which will use to continue to improve our service as a whole.

Needless to say, they didn't get more than her master bedroom and bath, because they cleaned her shower instead, that took a lot of the time. I left them a ladder did not use as her ceilings are 16ft high in living room and master bedroom. She is very pleased with the work they did do. Don't get ne wrong, she a happy little clam, but she has no idea of what I wanted done, as I hired them. She is in denial about her dust making her asthma worse, she has ceiling fans on all the time and dust is so thick its like the 'Munsters' or 'Adam's Family's' home!!!!! It took 3hours to do approx. 400square feet in a 1614 square foot home, at the tune of 100.00 an hour.
Description of Work: Did not listen to my requests I told them several times we wanted dust removed from ceiling, walls, and furniture and nic nacs. They thought based only on square footage it would easily be done in 2 hours. They said you literally only want dusting, what about the kitchen and baseboards. I said ok on baseboards. The purpose of this cleaning , was for the sole purpose to remove dust, as my mom has asthma bad, is unable to dust her own house. I laughed and thought no way could they have that house dust free in 2 hours.

The house was in need of much more work than we anticipated, and may have needed even more time than what we actually spent there. Our rate is not actually $100/hr. It is normally $80/hr., and we even gave 10% off for you being an Angie's List member, lowering the price to $72/hr. It ended up requiring over four hours based on the amount of dust, which is why the final total ended up at $311. Our rate of $72/hr. is actually a very reasonable rate for two cleaning professionals compared to the industry in Dallas, so I am unsure why the grade of 'F' on price was assessed. Yes, it did end up requiring more time than anticipated, which caused the price to end up over $300. But we didn't deviate from the agreed upon price, and we faithfully performed the amount of work that we charged for. I would have been more than happy to work with you had you called and mentioned the concern regarding this. However, I do want the record to reflect that we do not charge $100/hr as you reported, and that the house could have very easily used more time. It is probably best that they didn't stay for longer, as there was already concern about the price based on the amount of time that they did work. I sent one of our very top-notch teams, and I know they dutifully worked for four hours. As mentioned in other reviews, it is your right as a consumer to post whatever you feel on here.
