Legacy Plumbing

Had a pipe leak in the master bedroom closet. Leak was from a sink on the other side of the wall. Doug removed piece of sheet rock from the closet side and discovered the slow leaking pipe right away. he repaired the pipe with little to no mess. He couldn't have been more professional. He was at the house about 2 hrs and did a great job. I would highly recommend Legacy Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing repairs. They are an A+ in my book.

Outstanding. I echo the many other positive comments about plumber Matt. Honest, timely, respectful, clean, etc. Couldn't have been a better experience. previously we had another plumber from another company who came out and even after seeing everything refused to give a price quote. Legacy Plumbing gave a quick and easy quote over the phone. With Legacy actual costs were in line or below what was quoted over the phone. This was our first time to use Legacy Plumbing. Next time we will call Legacy Plumbing first.

The front panel on my cultured marble tub had to be removed and I was warned that occasionally those chip or crack with removal and I had to initial a waiver that they would not be responsible for this damage. I had talked once with a salesperson at Home Depot who had told me that this was a possible problem. My home was built in 1993 so I was glad that the panel was removed with no damage. Also the roman tub faucet needed to have the holes enlarged for the 2 faucet knobs. I was told that there may be an additional charge for this if it required too much time. Lee probably spent at least 20 - 25 minutes more enlarging the holes but did not charge me extra.

Came home from work on a Friday evening and discovered leaking water heater. Wife informed we that we weren't going all weekend without hot water. I wasn't expecting to be able to get the work done on the weekend without paying an exhorbitant price, but searched Angie's and found Lagacy Water Heaters. It was after hours so I left a voicemail with them. They called first thing Saturday morning and said they could do the work that day. They sent a man out to look at the situation and give me a price. The owner arrived a short time later with a new heater and the installation was completed in a few hours. Work was done for the quoted price and workmanship appears to be very good. I would recommend to anyone.

The original scope of work was to re do piping connection to garbage disposal and kitchen sink and also to give me an estimate for re do a/c condensation drain to lavatory drain at bathroom. Wayne showed up very on time , 30 minutes early, I told my teenage son to tell him that he can start his work at the kitchen sink while I try to get back home asap. I got home 20 minutes later Wayne already took all the pipes out under the kitchen sink, then I started to ask him questions if I want to replace my kitchen sink would it damage the laminated counter top and Wayne said it will not. So from one thing lead to another the scope of work rolled into a big snow ball. Any way Wayne was nice enough to put his half finished work on hold for two days while i go buy a new kitchen sink, lavatory faucet and pop up for tub and lavatory, so he can come back in two days to finish his new scope of work. Wayne also helped me clean up some stubborn stains that I couldn't get it out around the sink, tub and toilet, extra bonus work from him. He also gave me a new custom 10% discount and one year parts and labor warranty. It's hard to find some one likes his work so much that will whistle while he works. I will definitely use them again and request for Wayne to do the job.

Legacy Plumbing is awesome. They give you an accurate (as accurate as they can based on my description of the problem) estimate over the phone when you first call. Matt is awesome! Very professional! He is more than willing to talk you through what he is doing so there is no question what's being done. We've already suggested them to friends & will continue to do so!

The workmanship was done professionally, they caulked around the garden tub and cleaned up everything, all within hours after I called for service. I would definably use there services again and highly recommend them.

Matt investigated and found out that there could be a dead mouse somewhere in the attic vs a plumbing issue. He also fixed the drains so that they now empty perfectly. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism. I'm sure they could have not taken a look in my attic and just said it was a problem with my vent pipe (what I thought) but instead they took the extra time to really investigate and advise me. I will definitely hire Legacy plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs. Fantastic job!

The service was excellent and this is the second time I have used Legacy Plumbing.

Matt arrived about 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Prior to arrriving, he had called to make sure this would be okay. A very friendly and polite individual, Matt listened to my concerns, saw where the laundry line was overflowing and immediately got to work. The clean-out process went very quickly and very efficiently. There was no need to get on the roof to do the cleanout as other plumbing companies had done in the past. In writing up my bill, he gave me the larger discount--either a 10% off or waiving the $50 service charge. All told, the price was $192.00 which seemed like a fair price to me! I will definitely use their services again!

I moved into my house not knowing what to expect about the hot water heater's condition. Checked on Angie's list, found Legacy and made the call. A good decision on my part. This is one company I will use again and recommend to others. Great service from the minute you make the call. The technician, Matt, sealed my vote of confidence for this company. He was courteous right out of the truck. His attitude, his professionalism, and his knowledge was reassuring of his experience. He answered all of my bother-some questions with a big smile and simple explanations. And he didn't leave a mess, but he did leave a satisfied and future repeat customer. The service person, Wayne was punctual, friendly, and professional. The work was completed quickly, he removed the leaking ring, disinfected the area, replaced the ring with two, replaced the plastic bolts with metal and reset the commode. All in about a 45 minuted time frame. I will definitely call Legacy when I need plumbing assistance in the future.

Matt came an hour earlier than scheduled but called first to confirm. He repaired both leaking faucets in about 30 minutes. He replaced a second o'ring which wasn't leaking at no additional charge. He cleaned and disinfected the area where he had worked. He was a pleasure to have in our home and was extremely nice to our 3 dogs. Best part, I got a 50.00 discount for being a first time customer! I will use Legacy in the future as they are an A+ service company! THANKS Angies list for providing such quality service providers! The money I saved today more than paid for your membership fees for a year!!

It went well. They were on time, finished quickly and left house clean and in tact.

It was great. They were really good. They were in and out of there in no time.

We had a leaking upstairs shower. They replaced a spout and checked inside the attic for leaks. After a very thourogh investigation they figured out the water was coming through a floor crack, not the shower.

I could hear the sound of a water leak when I would place my ear against the wall in one of my restrooms. The 1948 home is a pier and beam with very little clearance to work on plumbing. Called Legacy Plumbing and asked for Matt Lawrence to come out for the service. Matt had performed a quality service on a previous call and he was a pleasure to work with. Very professional. Matt performed the above listed work. He was on time. He kept me informed as to what he was encountering with the project. It took quite a while to complete the job. But, he stayed with it to completion. I will use Legacy Plumbing in the future.

First, I would like to say that the two service technicians (Matt & Doug) that came to our house were superb. Just genuinely nice guys who were very informative. I contacted Legacy Plumbing by phone and discussed our plumbing issues. One issue was a recurring problem with a shower failing to dispense hot water. Legacy Plumbing knew the exact problem we were having and suggested calling Moen for a free replacement part instead of buying it from them. I didn't think it would work - who gives parts away for free? - but I felt it was worth a try. I called Moen, and 7 days later, I had the part at no cost to me. This same problem was previously "fixed" twice by two other plumbing companies and they happily charged me $50 for the part with no mention of calling Moen. Other companies take note - that is how you create trust with a customer! Scheduling an appointment was a snap. On the day of our scheduled service, the technicians were running a little behind and were ultimately about 15 minutes late. Not a big deal for me on that particular day. To their credit, they did call to let me know, although they were already a few minutes late at the time. When they arrived, we discussed the work to be performed. Less than two hours later, everything was done. Regarding the upstairs bathtub that was leaking into our garage, I noticed that they spent a lot of time making sure that they could not duplicate the problem after their work was complete. I was very pleased and grateful for their time and effort. I will definitely use Legacy Plumbing again. Great company.

The people were very responsive and worked after hours to get my hot water problems repaired. I could not have asked for better service.

Good service at reasonable price.

The plumber and his helper showed up exactly on time and I explained what I needed done. A plumber with a different company had told me that I would have to take out the bricks around the outside faucets and have the faucets cut off from the pipe because they were soldered on. The quote the previous plumber gave me was quite high because of all the work that would entail. The Legacy Plumbing rep checked them and determined they were not soldered but were threaded pipes and could be replaced without all of the demolition and rebuilding. He completed all of his tasks quickly and efficiently and the total bill was significantly less than I expected. I will definitely use them for all of my plumbing needs.

I have used Legacy several times. No problems with their work and never had to call them back regarding any work related issue. I will certainly use them again.

They came out right away. They were really good.

I had a leak near the water meter below my driveway and had the city investigate it. They said it was on my side of the meter so I was responsible for repairing it. Initially, I contacted Legacy Plumbing, but they said they could not send anyone out for a few days. However, they did listen to a description of the problem, and the owner provided a ballpark estimate of $600-$1200 to repair it. They also offered to put me on a wait list in case they had any cancellations. I proceeded to call some other plumbing companies and was given estimates varying between $1500-$5000 to perform the repair. With such a large discrepancy between the estimates, I decided to wait until Legacy Plumbing could send someone out. They sent out Matt to investigate the issue, and he was great. He took time to identify the exact location of the leak (which no other company had done), and provided an estimate of $600. Matt performed the repair in just a couple of hours and saved me a tremendous amount of money. I really felt that Legacy Plumbing was genuinely concerned about my issue.

Legacy Plumbing was called as a result of our water bill almost doubling in the last month. We first called the City to have them come out and see if the leak had something to do with their meter. They reported that there was a leak, but it was on "our side" so we needed to call a plumber. When I called Legacy Plumbing, I had to leave a message, but they returned my call within the hour. I called on a Thurs. morning and they scheduled me for the following Tues. between 10AM and noon. The plumber called at 9:30AM on that Tues. and asked if he could come early since he had completed his last call early. I was delighted that he was going to be arriving earlier than the scheduled time span. The gentleman was very polite, friendly and professional. After he looked for the leak and could not find one, he called me outside to show me what would be happening with the water meter if it were leaking. When asked what he thought the reason for our increased water bill was about, we discussed a couple of reasons...we had increased our watering time on the days we were permitted to water with our sprinkler system due to planting some new plants and/or the possibility that we had a problem with a "gusher" with one of our sprinkler heads. Even though sprinkler systems are not part of their job, when asked if he would mind looking for a "gusher" while I tried each sprinkler station, he gladly did it for me. There appeared to be nothing wrong with our sprinklers so we chalked it up to the increased watering we had been doing. There is no doubt. We WILL call on Legacy Plumbing when we have another need for their services! The entire experience was very satisfying and helpful!
