Legacy Plumbing

I was not maintaining hot water during showers or enough to fill a tub even though I have 2 hot water heaters for my house. Since they are both about 10 years old I assumed one of them was going to need replacing. When the technician arrived I was not home but my wife was. She said he did an inspection and said nothing was wrong with either tank and they just needed the temp raised due to the cold weather. He made the adjustments and they have worked perfectly since. She also asked about a couple loose handles in one of the showers. He said he could fix them but would have to charge us so insyead he explained to my wife how to tighten the handles which I have done and they are also fine. It certainly felt good to have a company send someone out that was knowledgable, honest and treated the customer fairly. I am sure this is a reflection of the company itself and I assure you Legacy will be the company I call for my plumbing needs in the future and will happily refer others to them as well.

Had a small leak (due to a crack in a plastic seal fitting) right near our water meter, down by the street. After reviewing Angie's list, I called several plumbing companies to get approx estimate cost of the repair. Pricing was pretty close across the board, so I selected Legacy Plumbing due to their great reviews on Angie's list and the wonderful customer assistance I received from Michelle, whom I spoke to regarding my problem. When I called the second time to schedule an appointment, I spoke to Amber, and again was pleased with the customer service. They were able to schedule someone to come out the next day around noon (since it wasn't an emergency and was not inside my house, I was perfectly satisfied with a next day appt). Received a call the morning of my appointment asking if they could come earlier since they were ahead of schedule - of course I said yes! Lee arrived a short time later. I showed Lee the problem, he walked me through what he needed to do to fix it and then reviewed the pricing that Michelle and I discussed over the phone - no surprises, price was as discussed over phone. Lee was polite, professional and personable. I was especially impressed with the small attention to detail - since Lee had to dig into the ground to access the pipe, he dug a nice neat square, was careful with the piece of sod he removed and laid down a piece of plastic sheeting to place all the dirt he dug up. That little piece of plastic sure helped keep the surrounding grass/sidewalk cleaner so that you can hardly notice anyone was digging there and the neat piece of sod fits perfectly! I was so pleased with his work, I asked if he could take a quick look at a leaky shower head. Again, wonderful customer service - after he took a look at the shower head, he explained that the fixture should be/was under warranty, recommended that I call the manufacture to explain the problem and they should send replacement parts free of charge. This would help save on repair costs should I decide to call Legacy to do the repair - I will definitely be calling Legacy again!! :) Thanks, Legacy, for your top notch service!!

Plumber arrived on time. Gave me a very concise estimate of the cost and several options of repair. I agreed and he found a d repaired the leak within 15 minutes. He was polite and amiable and really knew what he was doing. He also gave me several pieces of advice on winterizing my exterior faucets and areas where I could improve my plumbing. He suggested ideas on how to dry my carpet that had been affected by the leak.....there wasn't a lot of water but still a concern. We are in our late 70's so polite, articulate workers are really appreciated. I will recommend this company to anyone in this area looking for a plumber. Susie Donohoe

Called 1/2 hour before arriving within agreed to window. Debugged the issue within a few minutes and replaced the warn out part. He was friendly and explained the issues as well as warranty.

Doug and Matt showed up promptly at the agreed on time and installed three toilets at my house. I found both of them to be extremely courteous and knowledgable. They hauled away all the trash and left my bathrooms cleaner than they were when they arrived. The price was well within the estimate they gave over the phone. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The work was to repair a leaking faucet in the kitchen sink. The leak was so bad that we had to turn off the water to the house, and did not have any water. Wayne from Legacy Plumbing arrived within a few hours of our call. He installed two supply valves and got the leak stopped. In the course of making the repair, he found that the new faucet we had recently had installed (not by Legacy Plumbing) was defective and we needed to replace it. Wayne noticed that we had a lifetime warranty on the faucet and called the manufacturer to arrange to have a new faucet shipped to us overnight. When the faucet arrived the next day, Wayne' schedule was full so Doug came out to install the faucet. Doug got the faucet installed with no problems ppointmens is just as nice as she can be. She is friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We received a phone call from the company within 24 hours of submitting a request through Angie's List. The initial service visit was scheduled for the next business day. Doug showed up on time (giving us a heads-up when he was close) and went right to work evaluating the loud buzzing noise coming from our H/W circulator pump. He explained his estimation of the cause and made an effort to salvage the old pump by locating replacement parts. As it turned out, parts were not available so we requested he come back the next day with a new pump for installation. He arrived the next day, on time, and completed the work to our complete satisfaction. No more Buzzing! Doug was very personable, professional, and genuinely cared about completely satisfying our needs. We have found the service provider for all our plumbing needs!

Guy checked old heater and had some pilot ligt issue. It kept going out. My heater was 12 years old so I decided to replace it. The guy replaces the heater and did a really good job on installation.

We needed to extend the gas line in our kitchen to accommodate a new range. Service was quick, professional and great customer service. We had to call them back the next day because of our measure mistake and again they were quick and professional. They even cut us a discount to return even though it was our mistake. We have additional plumbing needs in the future and Legacy is who we will be calling.

We had a problem with our W/D hoses and plumbing. I reviewed a lot of reviews to look for a good plumber/plumbing company. I had used other companies in the past and they were 'fine', but wanted to find a company I could feel really good about. Legacy Plumbing was just as the reviews presented it :) The lady who answered the phone was very nice, but said she would have the owner (?) call me back. He did call back and explained his thoughts and made recommendations which were all very reasonable and what I had expected. A plumber came out and was polite and professional and did an excellent job. Will keep their name for any future work! Thanks!

Service person arrived on time, was extremely professional, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond the simple unclogging repair. I highly recommend this company. We will use again!

Very professional interaction. Recieved an estimate at the time services were scheduled. Plumber arrived ontime and got to work. Offered some nice advice on how to take care of our plumbing, completed the work in a timely fashion, and was professional at all times.

Wayne came out several weeks ago to scope the lines in the house to locate the problem. We set up an appointment for the 17th to come in after the excavation company and replace the lines under the foundation in a bathroom and at the front of the house at the cleans outs. The line had shifted and roots had grown into the lines. Wayne was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. I have hired Legacy Plumbing on several occasions and they always have met up to their promise.

I was happy with this company from the time I called and spoke with Amber. She was EXTREMELY professional and courteous - talk about exceptional customer service! Then we have the plumber, Lee, that came out to fix my toilet - he was very prompt and professional! There was a little bit of a misunderstanding with the pricing and Theron was quick to call me and clear up the issue to ensure that I was happy! Thank you Legacy Plumbing for the great work! I will definitely use them again!

I involved quite a bit of work (moving location of system too). Found quite a bit of shoddy workmanship in the plumbing left by the original builder (loose gas connections). Ended up expanding the job to fix all of that (some of the cost), but I'm 100% convinced it was necessary to be fixed and I'm in a much better place after fixes. Loved the straight forward/honest talk I got before install & when we uncovered issue sin the wall. Very knowledgeable. Would use them again.

Everything was done to our satisfaction and the technician was very professional.

Tech was courteous and informative. A tarp was spread on our carpeting and no residue or water from the toilet was evident anywhere. The job was completed quickly, thoroughly and with a great attitude on the part of the tech.

We have tried several plumbers in looking for a good, reliable one since moving to Plano more than a year ago; we have finally found one in Legacy! Mike Young was the Specialist sent to our home. He called on his way, and arrived promptly when he said he would, which was near the beginning of the two-hour window specified for the appointment. We had an outside faucet replaced, which may have been a rather simple job for a skilled plumber, but Mike took the time to explain everything about what he did. Moreover, he answered all of our questions about water heaters and other plumbing matters, just as a matter of courtesy. He was very friendly and the overall experience was very good. Another thing that really impressed us was how Legacy handled a misunderstanding and perhaps a ?gray? area involving the coupon we wished to apply for this service call. Mike was very professional about it, and worked with us, even to the extent of calling his office and competitors for clarification, and in the end gave us the full discount from the coupon. We really respect Legacy for doing this, because they could have held their ground and nicely told us ?no?, which would have resulted in paying $50 more. I have learned that Legacy in Plano is a smaller company, and specializes in customer service; they are now our plumber of choice, and will remain so until we have reason to switch!

Legacy plumbing came out and changed out my kitchen sick faucet, they did a good job. They also fixed my leaking toilet. I would use them again.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. Wayne called to ask if would be alright to arrive early (no plumber ever arrives early - but this guy does!) Wayne arrived, assessed the problems and got to work. He had the drain running in less time than I could ever imagine, and started on the toilet. This guy is a magician, he had it apart, installed the new type 1/4 turn water shut-off valve under the toilet tank that I requested, put it all back together, calibrated flushing and performing perfectly, all while giving advice to prevent future problems. left the bathroom clean - truly wonderful! I give them an A+ for honesty, quality work, and over and above the call of duty helpfulness. When we need plumbing in the future , Legacy will have my business without question. .

We had a toilet that was running constantly and a sink faucet handle that was hard to turn on and off. Called Legacy Plumbing and was given an estimate (as well as could be over the phone), and set up an appointment for the next day. Wayne came out the next day and was on time. He was very friendly and professional. He gave an estimate of the services to be performed and was fast in the repairs. We have had other plumbers over the past seven years and Legacy (Wayne) excels by far, he is the best!! I would recommend Legacy and will use them again in the future if the need arises.

Great! Matthew was on time, and very professional. This is the second time I have used Legacy and will call them again next time I need a plumber.

Wayne did an outstanding job. Arrived ahead of schedule (he did call to see if it was alright). Explained the processes that he was going to take to determine if there are any water or sewer leaks. We also discussed the what if's should a leak be found. A thorough explanation was provided. After 15 - 20 minutes of testing, Wayne determined that there were no leaks....he had be look at the pressure guage and the sewer drain to show that there were no issues.

The representative from Legacy Plumbing quickly understood the problem advised on the solution and the pricing and promptly performed the services in a short amount of time. This worked out quite well as I had take time off from work to do this and had limited time available. I would definitely hire Legacy Plumbing to do any plumbing related services again !
