Mike was very prompt with his quote, explained everything in detail was very conscientious, was onsite for the entire process, worked long hours and followed up after to ensure the work had resolved the issue. I was very happy with the experience and would recommend him to anyone.

I think it went pretty good overall. The job was done six months ago and seems to have held up well so far. We found some old peers but we didn't have to cut them so there were no extra charges. Mike was a little tight on cash and asked that he be paid in cash so he could pay his workers when the job was done. We ended up going to my bank to cash my check while they were still doing the job. Since it was a holiday week-end, the bank hadn't posted my transfer in yet so I ended up paying an over-draft fee. That really wasn't Mike's fault but I didn't find out he needed cash vs. credit card or check until a couple days before he started the job. While I transferred the money as soon as I knew he wanted to get paid that way, because of the banks considering it a holiday, they didn't post the transfer for three days. Again, that's not Mike's fault but just be prepared to have cash on hand or plenty of money in your checking account before he gets there.

Mike Brothers is the owner of Cross Timbers Foundation Repair. This is a family owned business. Mike was wonderful to work with. He was hampered by constant rain but communicated well with me to let me know what he could do and when he could do it in relation to the wet soil. Mike also repaired a huge crack in my wall and fixed an exposed beam in the foundation that the foundation engineer found.. Mike did such a great job that I also contracted with him a week later o fix a sidewalk out front that had sunk and was a virtual swimming hole when it rained. He did a wonderful job on that as well. I would highly recommed this company

House #3 was a complete rehab, 3914 sq. ft., single story, slab, with a 40,000 gallon pool, built in 1972, taken to the studs. It required over 40 piers, both in and out. Clearly it was a challenge. The original construction was also a contributing factor. There were many shortcuts taken that caused rehab to be extremely difficult. As the job progressed the foundation kept surprising us. The engineer was back several times, and Cross Timbers stayed on top of all the surprises. They adapted their work plan to accomodate the unexpected which included concealed stress points, performed well above and beyond expectations, and still finished on time and without raising the price. They never complained, they just stayed the course and did the job. Will I use them again? YOU BET!
