Description of Work: You know, burn me once-shame on you. Burn me twice-shame on me! I went back to Mid-Cities in an emergency situation, had a death in the family & had to have car serviced as it was missing really bad & I was in a time constraint. Diagnosis: Car needed spark plug replaced. The $75-$125 initial service fee of course was $125. Once on the computer, they called to tell me the problem, we discussed what needed to be done & I was given the estimate. Went to pick up the car & had to pay approximately $269 more than I expected for the spark plugs that were replaced. I was quoted only the labor, not the parts. I paid the bill because I had no choice. $995 for 4 spark plugs. Also was quoted another $400+ to have the 2 front rotors replaced, really? When you did a brake job last year, I think not. A little too much/too high for my pocketbook. Staff is lovely, very nice people. Drove me to work, got the work done in 1 day but I just can't justify what they charge for what they do. A/C that they fixed last year is still not right. I'd like to say nothing but nice things, but I just can't, sorry!

Description of Work: I have used Mid-Cities a couple of times for car repair (air conditioning leak, faulty door mechanism) and several times for oil changes. They are always very friendly and helpful. They are good at explaining the diagnosis of the car and what needs to be done. They are not pushy about repairs needed (will give you options, time frames, and advice on whether something is needed promptly) or additional services. I can leave my car for an oil change and they will drop me off and pick me up from work. I put B for price in my review as the only price comparison I have for the repair work I had done at Mid-Cities was a dealership service center that didn't seem to be on the up-and-up.

Description of Work: I paid much more than the $600 shown. They tried to fix A/C, it was never the same the first, second time they had car. Then when I had to take it back, they |Charged me more money for hose & leak that could have been their fault from when they first worked on it..twice. Not sure what their guarantee is good for. | |Personnel are fine & attentive, but I won't go back. Even called to check on me a few weeks out from last service. | |Everything price wise is strictly what the computer figures out, no leeway there & quite expensive I think | |They did a complimentary inspection that I did not ask for trying to appease, nice of them, but $25-30 doesn't do a lot when you've spent as much as I did, I thanked them. | |Not happy with brake issue they attempted to fix either, have noise in front end now...don't want to go back in fear they'll charge me again. I'm done, thank you.

Description of Work: I take my vehicle to Mid-Cities Service Center. I use them for all my services. I have gone to them a couple of time.

Description of Work: four wheel alignment, correctly installed some bushings on the camber/caster. My son had his truck lifted and installed new tire and rims, so it needed a wheel alignment. When we took it to the shop, they discovered the problem and notified us. Before doing anything else, they gave us a price and we agreed to it. I had called around other shops for cost of a wheel alignment on a lifted truck and other shops were quoting me $150 and up. I will be going back to Mid-Cities Service Center for future wheel alignments.

Description of Work: They repaired shifter,battery, and fluids. Were extremely courteous, and very informative. Especially Ryan, he even took some pictures for me ( no charge) and kept me appraised of the progress. I would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Replaced windshield. Was quick, precise, and pleasant.

Description of Work: I took the car in for a simple thermostat replacement and they upsold me on other repairs. The quality was great but a bit pricey.

Description of Work: Tie-rod replacement, both sides and state inspection. I thought the problem was the ball joints, but their inspection found them to be fine and the tie rods the problem. |Took me to work and picked me up too!
