First of all, I will have to preface my comments that I did fill out a comment sheet the gave the them higher marks on the day of the move. They seemed nice and worked hard. It was after what my wife showed me that was not loaded that they were supposed to take and told me of the conversations that were taking place in home that I have changed my review. I would welcome management to discuss the issues that I had with the crew and focus on improvement of service for Angie's List members. My initial contact with Wrightway moving was through Angie's list. The business staff was courteous and responsive to the bid/estimate process. While not the cheapest bid I received, I chose the company on perceived professionalism of the moving company. Confirmation process was a breeze, and I was notified by the company in timely manner that the moving crews would be running a little late on the day of the move. Presentation: I restate that I was looking for a professional moving service and by all appearances I thought I had done this. The crew leader arrived and was professional explained the contract and fees prior to starting. No issues Appearance: When I hire a professional company to come into my home and trust my possessions I expect a few things from the employees of that company. 1: There is some kind of uniform standard for the employees. T-shirts, polo's, name tags; I do not care but I want to know who is coming into my home, and the company they represent. Tank top undershirts and muscle shirts are not acceptable. 2: At least half the crew should speak/read basic English. I believe many of my issues could have been avoided by the eliminating the language barrier. 3. Watch your mouth inside my home! Yes, I may not speak Spanish, but other members of my household are quite proficient in Spanish, 3 languages actually. They did not tell me the content of those conversations until after I had paid, because I would have fired them on the spot and we still needed to move. Moving: The workers moved my items efficiently from the home, the wrapped and blanketed most items. The only breakage I have found was a leg on piece of particle board "one-way furniture." The Items were packed efficiently and securely. Issue: I am not one to say," I would never do that" in a business, but I will in this case. I would never move trash off a moving truck from another move or small left over items from the that move into the garage or lawn of someone who is moving out and has to clean up and dispose of that trash and leftovers. That would never be acceptable in my company. If you are going to leave items behind, clearly communicate why and if they can be repacked in a way that will get them on the truck. I am paying by the hour, I have time to fix a few things if need be. Do Not simply move it to another room and leave it for me to pack and move at 1AM. Unloading: The crew was rushed. I gave them instruction on which room was which. The boxes were labeled with names and rooms. My unpacking experience was moving furniture to the correct room, retrieving boxes labeled kitchen from upstairs, and I am finding clearly labeled boxes placed in the garage that were supposed to be moved to specific areas of the home. Unlabeled boxes were fine to go into garage. What is the point of labeling boxes if they are not going to be reading the labels? Overall: It balanced to a D after further review. A couple of members of the crew were good they get a B as they have potential. I leave that to management to identify those employees.

We have moved 6 times and this was our best moving experience. The office staff was helpful in determining how many trucks and hours we would need. They called, emailed and texted reminders to me. We used two teams and two trucks- both team leaders were knowledgable and spoke excellent English. The teams were very well organized and efficient- they did not waste any time (which is wonderful when you are paying by the hour). We had one mover that was very chatty and liked to ask how much items in our house cost. I told the team leader right away that I was uncomfortable with him- the team leader immediately took care of the situation and checked back in with me a couple hours later to make sure the situation was resolved. They wrapped and loaded our items carefully and always pointed out to me any damage on a furniture item before they moved it. Both team leads followed up with me to ensure that I was happy with the service. Overall, I would recommend this company and use them again. I thought they were very reasonable priced and we were happy with the experience.

only moved the wine cooler and charged $50 for an insurance certificate

The moving company / crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and acted very professional. The crew wtremely please was very gentile with all our belongings, treated them as if they owned them. They took care to take apart some of the larger furniture pieces, and put them back together in the new home. We were extremely happy with the crew. The estimate we received from the service was off. The original quote that came in was 4 to 5 hours. The crew finished up just over 10 hours. We would use this company again but just plan for more time than estimates.

The movers finished the job very quickly and packed my truck efficiently.

We initially had 1 lady come to help us pack. She was kind of slow, smelled of smoke and even stunk up our toilet without being courteous to inquire if she could use it. In 3.5 hours she packed a small kitchen and over used packing papers since when we unpacked saw she used multiple packing papers for metal or wood utencils as well. The moving part was better with the movers being punctual and working real fast in the rain to get all our boxes into the truck and to the new house. They were courteous and moved everything to exactly where we wanted without once complaining. Overall if we had only used movers probably would have rated it excellent but the packer slightly jaded the overall experience.

Well, both crews were friendly enough, however, one of the crews had a guy that was trying to do too much too fast and because of the carelessness in which he handled some of our things, there were some mishaps. Because of that experience we only have one crew move us to the house and they were great, but at that point it was too late to fix some of the issues, they just kept there from being any more. Some of the issues.... It doesn't matter what you write on the boxes (Fragile, Do Not Put On Bottom, etc.), they do not pay attention. We had a box of salt crystals placed at the bottom of a stack of 5 heavy boxes. A lot of the Also, be sure to take your own beds apart so you know where the pieces are to put them back together. We had two beds moved and I can't find hardware for either bed, one of which was an adjustable bed so I don't know what I'm going to do about that yet.

My move process was somewhat unique, in that there were essentially three parts involved. I had my household goods packed, items from my storage area moved, and the household items then moved after the packing was complete. The process started out very well from the time I initiated contact with this company. I immediately received feedback when I sent out the message via Angie?s List and was easily accommodated. The woman that helped me was extremely helpful in setting everything up for me and would always return my calls in a timely manner. Moving day started out very well. The ladies that packed my goods were very good and arrived early to start the process. The actual cost I ended up paying for the packing was above the estimated price, but I understand I was working solely off of an estimate. The first crew that arrived to transfer the items from storage to the home were very efficient. Work was completed in the allotted 3 hour timeframe and I did not incur additional charges. Again, they were very good. The second part of the move (items from my unit to the home) was more of a challenge. The crew was set to arrive between 1-3pm, but did not arrive until shortly after 4pm. It seemed as if the move process from out of the apartment to the truck took forever. They were blaming the elevator as the problem, but I?m not so sure. Had they arrived on time, there would likely not have been an issue with the elevator because people typically are not arriving home from work between 1-3pm. The guys that moved items from the storage unit inside my building did not have any issue with the elevator. One of the walls in my unit was hit pretty hard and it prompted me to take pictures for documentation in the event I lose my security deposit. In addition, two of the guys were involved in an altercation with each other while moving items out of the apartment. I heard the two gentlemen cussing at each other to the extent that they eventually apologized to me. Strange and unprofessional After the truck was loaded, they arrived to my home at approximately 8:30pm. While unloading, I noted they did not put any sort of protection down over my new wood floors (just completed earlier in the week). They did end up placing about a 6? scratch into the floor in my living area near the stairs. In addition, a light along the stairway was broken and grease marks were left along the carpet in a spare bedroom where they had placed the pins to the door they removed. Common sense would tell you to NOT place pins on carpet. Overall, the second crew seemed to lack experience. I ended up jumping in to help unload items, as I did not want to the cost of the move continue to grow and I did not want to disturb my neighbors too late at night. They left trash outside my new home upon leaving. The crew went well over the estimated price and it remains extremely frustrating. I was hoping to have received a call from this company to check on the overall move process so I could share my feedback, but have not received anything at this point. The only call I received was late on Friday evening requesting I look for unused packing materials. At that point, I had no idea what the guy had was referring to. This move started out well, but ended up leaving a sour taste. I have a good friend moving in the near future and he has requested information on the company I used, but I am not certain I want to provide it at this point based on my experience.

These guys were awesome! I wish that packing up half the house could go that fast! They arrived a little past their appointed arrival time (about 25 minutes), but they only took 1.5 hours out of the 3 that I had scheduled to load the truck and offload it at the storage facility. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. I'll definitely use them again.

Unless you want to pay 4 times the amount you should to move your household, I recommend going with another company. We decided to use this company based on their "great reviews" on Angie's List and $275 coupon for a 24ft truck with a three man crew for three hours. When we called to schedule an appointment, we were told there would be a $65 service charge plus an extra $200 to move "specialty items", namely 2 pianos and a pool table. I asked them about these fees, since the company made the coupon seem all inclusive. They told me, "Angie's List writes the deals and does not list specialty items on the coupon because they are not included in the $275 for 3 hours with 3 men." Though, on other movers site's it does say that these things are excluded. Still, we decided to go the Wrongway and go with Wrightway. We owned a 2000 sqft, one story home. The only stair was the one at the front door. We had sold most of our furniture, and had maybe 60-80 boxes to moves, plus the specialty items. The boxes were in two different locations, and the few pieces of furniture that we were taking were located in two rooms. We had even disassembled anything that needed disassembling. We thought with the three man crew, this move should take no longer than the 3 hours on the coupon. They arrived at 1:45pm, walked in and stated, ?We don't pack anything, uninstall anything, will not move any boxes that are open, and we will not reinstall anything." This surprised me as these are all services they claimed to offer on their Angie's List site. But, since we had already taken care of everything they said they didn't do, we shrugged it off. They commenced to move so SLOWLY that what was supposed to take no more than 3 hours and a 24 ft. truck stretched into 8 hours. They finally left at 8:45pm. And, of course, they charged $130 for each additional hour. Keep in mind that we moved from a one story with no stairs to a two story, but they didn't take anything up any stairs. They appeared to only be capable of moving one item at a time, no matter how big or small. They took FOUR hours just to load the truck from our old house. And they packed so inefficiently that we had to get another truck with a second crew at twice the expense. Both crews spent most of their time joking and laughing with each other. That and remembering every so often that they had a job to do. They finally loaded both trucks, one of which was not even halfway full, just in time for rush hour traffic (coincidence?) and announced they were getting dinner (which they took on the clock, thus we also paid for the time it took for them to eat). They left behind so much trash (drink bottles, napkins, food wrappers, etc.) in my old house that I actually took pictures because I just couldn't believe it. To make matters worse, when the trucks left, they didn't even move everything!!!! It took me three more trips in my SUV, to get everything moved after we had paid them more than $1700! To add insult to injury, after they dragged a 3 hour move out to 8 hours, they then gave my husband a paper Angie's List survey and asked him to rate Wrightway. He said no, and they tried to strong arm him into completing the survey immediately. It is interesting that if the customers complete a paper survey, who inputs their review into Angie's List? Wrightway Moving, of course. Curious? Check them out on Yelp if you want to see real reviews. I wish I had before we decided to go with this company. Moving is never any fun, but this company made it a horrible experience. It's truly outrageous that this is how they run their company. They were inefficient and slow and by doing so scammed us out of both our hard earned money and our time! Save your money AND your time and go with a moving company that is reputable.

My move was rather complex in that we had to move from a storage shed and our house. I hired two crews using the Angies List special. We managed to get the move done and it was a bigger move than we expected. We filled up both trucks and I actually needed a third truck to get us moved but we got it done thanks to two very good crews. Brian's crew and Josh's (crew)--by the way--Thank you Josh for your service! He just spent four years in U.S. Marine Corp!! Both crews courteous and patient with us through the moving process. We have used Wrightway for many many years...I have moved many times due to job opportunities and we can rely upon Wrightway to do the job well. Tonya is very helpful with us on scheduling and we are made aware of all fees up front. They do a great job at a very good price!

It went great. Movers were friendly and very respectful. Would definitely recommend.

Movers were very good, they protected all of my large furniture items and took care with everything. I had china hutch, large dining table, sleigh bed and armoire - all with no damage at all. The Dispatcher was awesome, we had several discussions and she provided excellent advise and helped me through the process. The only issue, the price was three times what was estimated. And at that point, the move is complete and the bill had to be paid.

They were super fast, efficient, and professional. Exceeded my expectations by far.

The packers and movers did an excellent job. They work very hard and did a great job in getting everything moved. My only complaints about this company would be related to their pricing and estimate. The packer took over 2x as long as I was quoted and therefore it costed twice as much as I expected. It was not a big deal because I was happy with quality of the work and $300 extra was not a big deal. However, I think the price of the "special" that is advertised is misleading. I purchased the "2 trucks and 4 men for 4 hours" package that is advertises for $625 and is supposed to be a $680 value. It turns out $625 is not the price you will pay. I was charged and extra $65 for fuel and and extra $40 for plastic wrap PER TRUCK. So the $625 price is really $835 and I think misleading. Also, just like the packing, the time needed for the move was grossly underestimated and ended up costing me a lot more than I was quoted, even though I provided a very detailed and accurate inventory of my belongings ahead of time. I was also charged and extra $150 for a heavy safe that I had...another thing just randomly added on the day of the move. Bottom line is they did a great job, but their marketing scheme is to lure you in with a low price and underestimate the move to entice you to hire them. What I planned to be a total move under $2500 ended up costing close to $5000. I dont mind paying more if people truly are doing more work, but to nickle and dime me for things like plastic wrap and randomly charge more for a heavy item or fuel is a bit annoying.

I bought a special offer but it took twice as long to move us and twice as much when it was all over. Tanya is Awesome and Excellent customer service. She returned calls promptly and was always pleasant.

The owner of this company and the office person were both very responsive during the course of this move. They got stuck on the job they had before mine through no fault of theirs, but of the previous client and it ran way over the time they said they would be on site to move my daughter. However, they kept in touch with her and when they got to her apartment, they had her loaded , moved, and unloaded in less than 2 hours which was great considering they extent of the job before mine. The waived the fuel charge for being so late getting there which was very nice.So while the day of this move did not go quite as anticipated, they made it right and they made it good. I was pleased with the final outcome.

Not too happy w/ how they connected my washer and dryer but otherwise a fair job!

The moving team was prompt, professional and efficient. They worked so hard to keep my moving within the time I paid for. They worked so hard without taking a break. I will definitely use this company again.

It went great. I worked hard to get ready in order to keep it within the 3 hours that I paid for. The team was so efficient that it was unnecessary.

It went really well. Of course, it was storming all day which slowed the process down but that was out of the movers control. They got everything moved out of the old apartment and into our new home with no issues at all. I would recommend this company to anyone needing moving services in the future. Very professional team and we were very pleased with the work.

Guys were very courteous and responsible. They worked quickly and efficiently despite the humidity.

Tanya is great, very responsive and empathetic. Unfortunately, the movers were supposed to arrive between 3 and 5 p.m. A two-hour window is enough of an estimate to me, so I'm not really expecting the window itself to be an estimate. No one called to say they were running late. I called at 4:45 and spoke with Tanya who was very apologetic. The movers did not call me until 5 and didn't arrive until 6:17. The move itself was fine. They were careful and fast. They completed the 2-bedroom move at 8:53 (I moved 15 minutes away), but their lateness really delayed our progress and not calling is totally unprofessional. I would not use in the future or recommend.

I contacted Tanya as well as other moving companies and Tanya called me back within 30 minutes. She was also able to schedule our multi-pick up and move very quickly. Tanya has excellent organizational skills plus she delivered on every promise. Her 3 man crew arrived at the first stop very early, when they arrived at the second loading stop they had the contract ready for me and had a good comprehension of the plan for the move. The morning flew by in a blur and Wrightway Moving was able to take care of all my needs within the 3 hours. This is an amazing feat due to the fact that we covered about 32 miles within Dallas.
