Everyone was very friendly. The group arrived early. One item was broken, but it is being handled to my satisfaction.

The floors, bathrooms and kitchen were well cleaned, however they were careless when dusting. A bowl of glass beads was dropped on the floor and beads rolled everywhere; a refrigerator magnet was knocked to the ground and broken. Many of the ornaments were replaced in the wrong places and as I was going around rearranging after the maids left, I discovered that an irreplaceable old souvenir had been broken and the pieces placed back together so that it wouldn't show. When I spoke to the office they apologised profusely and assured me that the situation would be "dealt with", but no form of restitution was offered to regain my good will. I had about 5 or 6 maids in the house and couldn't keep track of all of them which made me nervous. However, it did mean that they were finished in just under 2 hours. I feel the service was rather expensive keeping in mind that the price would have been $426 without the Angie's coupon.

I've been trying to get my wife to hire a maid for years. We are at a point where the kids are older and we can afford to have someone clean the house. Based on the Angie's List reviews, I was excited to try The Maids. After some time I finally convinced my wife to give them a try. As we have never had a maid, we had no idea how much to pay, or what was normal. We scheduled a deep cleaning to being our service. The Maids came out and performed the deep cleaning for about $800. Our house is a two story and is about 2800 square feet (4 bedrooms, 3 full baths). The maids cleaned slowly and methodically. And we were pretty happy with their service. Then the office contacted us with our service options and prices. We were interested in weekly service. The Maids quoted us over $600 a month for weekly service and about $180 per visit for bi-weekly. We suggested (haggled?) $500 per month for weekly, but The Maids declined. So, we went with the bi-weekly service. The Maids were prompt and did a decent job. However, unlike the deep clean, the bi-weekly service as a frenetic pace. The Maids were in and out in surprisingly little time. Again, perhaps this is normal, and we are just uninitiated. We noticed that in their haste, things were being missed. There would be grit on door handles. There would be gritty film on the cabinets. Otherwise, however, things were good. On one of their last visits, The Maids left a film on the master bathroom floor. It wasn't sticky, but was noticeable. Over the next couple of days the floor became dirty, fast. Sort of like walking barefoot in the grocery store as a kid...your feet would start to get dirty on the bottoms. We contacted The Maids and they came out the next day or two and recleaned the bathroom floor nicely. My wife's friends have a lady who has a team that cleans homes and they have been very pleased. So we asked her to come by and give us a quote. Ironically, The Maids had just cleaned that day or the day before. In her exploration of the house, this new lady pointed out several things The Maids had missed. After discussing with this new lady, we hired her for the desired weekly cleaning at $500 per month. On her first cleaning visit, she said the house needed a deep cleaning, even though we had one recently. We were doubtful, until after she finished cleaning on her first visit. The house sparkled. So we are going to pay her extra to deep clean again and she looks to be a keeper. So, all in all, we aren't unhappy with The Maids' service. We have just found a better, more conscientious, solution for less money.

They did a nice job. They did exactly what my wife wanted.

We hired The Maids (the Plano office) to perform a deep cleaning on our home. We just had our foundation repaired, and replaced almost all the flooring in the house. So, in addition to regular dirt and grime, our entire house was covered in a thick layer of construction dust. Added to that, I just finished up my last final exam (out of 5) for graduation and I am also 9 months pregnant. Needless to say, my house was ready to be declared a disaster zone. The Maids crew arrived punctually and immediately got to work. I did not stay to observe their work, but when I returned, I was blown away by how clean my house was. The were able to remove the dust from everything, which was no small feat, and I can finally see how beautiful my new wood laminate floors are. Their attention to detail is just amazing. They were able to vacuum up the dust off our brick fireplace, they vacuumed the couches, got all the dust off of the remote controls, and they even emptied out the paper shredder. I am sure there are cheaper services out there, but I hired The Maids based upon their reputation and stellar reviews here on Angie's List; they absolutely did not disappoint, and in my opinion, they were worth every penny. What they accomplished in just a couple hours would have taken me a couple of weeks to do by myself, in my condition. I feel really good about bringing baby home to a clean house next week.

The yellow team arrived promptly. Worked efficiently and thoroughly for one hour. My house was pristine. Absolutely happy and how quickly they got the job done.

Came precisely at 9:00 and cleaned for 65 minutes non stop: 3 & 1/2 baths, dusted, kitchen, utility & floors. Love this company. In addition; any complaint that is made is treated with care and respect. They truly aim to please and are extremely professional in how they communicate.

Good communication before day of service. On time arrival, group of 4 went to work and didn't stop until house was thoroughly cleaned. Very professional.

I scheduled my deep cleaning for Nov. 21. I received a call the next day that they could come earlier. On the day of the cleaning Carmen called to let me know they were behind schedule and asked if they could come later that day, which was fine by me. They arrived at the new scheduled time & began cleaning right away. House looked fabulous. Made better than I would do myself.

Carmen, came in with a smile, introduced her staff and they all got to working. Everyone was friendly and professional. Wow, these ladies are terrific. I had no idea that things could sparkle, so having had a heart attack I haven't been able to do things. Angels everyone!

On September 28th, I called The Maids to schedule the first cleaning of a regular, bi-weekly agreement and made an appointment for 10AM on October 5th. On Thursday, October 4th, they called me to get my credit card information and to confirm an appointment for 2PM. I explained that I had made it for 10AM and I would not be available in the afternoon. So they mad it for 10:30 AM, Oct 5. That morning 10:30 AM came and went. I called at noon and got an answering machine. I called again at 1PM and got someone who said that another office (the Dallas office) was supposed to perform the services, so I called the "Dallas office." I was told that they never heard of me and that I was not in their system and that I probably was mixed up and had not actually contacted The Maids. So I called the number that had called me for my credit card information the day before and they explained once again that the Dallas office was supposed to take care of me. I told them the Dallas office said that they had never heard of me and didn't offer to be of any help. Not resolution was ever offered by The Maids. From either office. No one offered to reschedule, to come out right away or anything! I am unimpressed! Liam Murphee Richardson

They were great from the time I called to set up the appt. They did a beautiful job and were very through and careful with everything.

Right from the initial contact with Glen through to the follow-up after completion of the cleaning, the service and response was outstanding. Most importantly, the team who came to clean did a brilliiant job. Very professional, they worked hard, and did a great and thorough job. We will undoubtedly use The Maids again.

I called because I have a baby shower at my house on Saturday and then I had to cancel because of some personal reasons well they got cleared up and I called to reschedule them, they didn't have any openings until Monday. When I told Carmon that I was having the baby shower on Saturday and really would like it done for the shower she pulled together a cleaning crew and came over and got everything done. I am so happy with they job they did it was worth every cent!!! I can't tell you how happy I am with them they found dog toys that I forgot we had because they were so far under the bed I hadn't seen them in so long. If i every need a cleaning service again I will always use them.
