This year it was the second time I used the service of Skylight Solutions. The service is timely and high quality. They not just replaced my acrylic skylight broken by hail storm, but gave an honest advise regarding the value of upgrading to tempered glass. No pushing up-sale, just an honest advice. Will use them again if there is need.

BAD 'FORM' FROM AN OWNER... Because my skylight replacement was a 'special order', I paid in full up front as instructed on April 28th. Was told 'special order's' take 2 weeks. After that, I never heard a word from anyone at this company. May 22nd I called the company to inquire about when I could expect my install. I was put on hold. After 5-6 mins I was told my order 'Fell Thru the Cracks'... it was never placed & we are ordering your skylight RIGHT now..asking for a RUSH' (exact words) ... I said..'You're kidding me...& I was calling my Credit Card Co. to let them know...to alert them about this incident in the event I protested this charge.. Shortly after that conversation ended I received a call from a woman at this company. She identified herself as Tina. I said 'oh...you're the Owner's wife' ... to which she replied...'since I'm married to the Owner, that makes me an Owner too'...Tina did apologize...she even blamed the mishap on how the order was placed (really Tina?...you're an 'OWNER' ... customers don't want to hear Owners throw people who work for the company under the bus)...she then proceeded to tell me if I was going to have my Credit Card Co. charge back the FULL PAYMENT they were going to cancel the 'special RUSH order' (which remember, they had my money for over 3 weeks and had not even ordered my skylight)... to say I was a bit taken aback is an understatement...Tina was more concerned that I knew she was an OWNER and that I not have the 'pd-in-full bill' charged back...there was no 'what can we do to make this right' BAD FORM lady VERY BAD FORM---ZERO concern or empathy for the customer

I have given this company a $250 deposit with a promise to call me when the skylight comes in. I now wish that I had told them that I would not give them any money until the job has ben completed.

Two technicians arrived and they were both very professional. Having two to do the work was smart . Install was fast and efficient. Also the clean-up was well done. Thank you!

We had a light-tube skylight installed in a bathroom. The tech showed us how far the light would extend in each direction, recommended that one light would do just fine (very long room), gave us a firm price, arrived on time, was very neat and clean (we expected a mess when he cut into the ceiling). The light works very well. What more could you ask?
