We called our home warranty company to get our new house rekeyed and they set us up with Mr. Rekey. The company called me within an hour of requesting the service to set up a time and they mentioned their limited weekend hours but were still able to schedule us in for a Saturday morning appointment. The locksmith gave us a call when he was en route. He rekeyed all three doors and even reprogrammed our garage in a timely manner. Would recommend!

I called to make an appt and they promptly scheduled me. The service tech arrived on time and called 30 minutes before his arrival. He had to make a small adjustment because my door did not latch properly after the install, but he obviously knew what he was doing and worked better than before the install. We decided to keep my double strike plate versus the matching part, mainly because it was more secure. Definitely would use them again without any hesitation.

After my purse was stolen with my wallet as well as house and car keys I was afraid that the thieves could attempt to get into my house even though I have a monitored security system. We made the call to Mr. Rekey and they arrived within two hours the same day we called!! He rekeyed my house and I received 4 new keys. it took about 30 minutes to complete the work from start to finish. I was expecting to pay much more since two of the doors had 2 locks on them. Quick, efficient, cost effictive.

The make of lock and knob does not have screws. Did not see how to put it together or know if it was broken. Had a spare system but to install would have required cutting for which I have no tools.. Job was completed with in 3 hours of call. Excellent and inexpensive service. Highly recommend.

I emailed and received a prompt response. The service man showed up on time and I was a little late. He waited for me. He performed the services and even assisted me to make some lock decisions at no extra cost. His price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use this again.

We recently purchased a new home and found this company with high ratings on Angie's list. I scheduled the appointment on Friday 3/1/13 and spoke to a very polite company representative who scheduled my service for Monday 3/4/13 between the hours of 9am and 1pm. I was told the technician would call approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival time to give me a heads up. On the morning of service, I received a phone call from David, the technician, informing me that he would be at my home in 30-40 minutes. I believe I was the first scheduled job for that day,and David arrived prompt and on time. We went through all the doors of the house and what needed to be done. He even pointed out some of the problems with the existing locks on some of the doors and made suggestions on how those doors could be more secure. He even made an effort to try to best match any new hardware with the existing hardware of the doors so that everything would match in the end. The previous owners of the house put a copy of the house key inside the mailbox (which was locked) and did not leave a mailbox key to be able to open it. David quickly and easily changed the mailbox key so that I could access the contents. After finishing, we went through the entire house to review all the work which was performed. He was able to have every single lock affiliated with the house, inside and outside, to be opened by one key despite there being different types of locks/brands throughout the house. Some of the previously installed locks were installed upside down, and David took the extra care to install those locks right side up after performing the rekeying. I received 4 new keys that operated the locks for the house and gate outside and 2 new mailbox keys. Overall, the service was excellent. David was very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. He did the work quickly and efficiently and answered every single question I had patiently and thoroughly. This company provided good service at a fair price, and I am pleased with the service I received. If I had to note one con, it would be that they do not have a card reader for credit card transactions. They do a rubbed copy of your raised credit card numbers on the invoice which could potentially pose a security issue if the invoice book were misplaced. Card scanners which plug into mobile phones seem like a much more secure way of doing credit card transactions.

Arrived early (called first to make sure it was okay--I was thrilled). Worked quickly, left no mess, did very nice work. Justin was extremely knowledgeable about the various brands of locks and went over everything he was doing with us. He was very helpful. I would definitely use this company again.

I was given a 4-hour block and they showed up right at the end of that block. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable, they even were helpful enough to give me directions as to how I might get my mailbox re-keyed since it's owned by the post office. They left everything looking better than when they got here.

A hidden outside key disappeared so we were anxious to get the house rekeyed. They fit us in the same day, and even worked within my narrow time frame. Fast, efficient, friendly service, and the price was good.

Justin Allgood was an excellent, well trained professional who knew his job and did it very well. An all around well informed professional, he was full of useful information. He also helped with repair of a latch at no additional cost. Good value for the dollar. I really liked it that he worked quickly without compromising quality.

Turns out, the malfunctioned lock earned top awards for durability, as it took a considerable amount of drilling time before it ;gave up the ghost' and surrendered it's hold on the door! The locksmith also went to much trouble to minimize the mess on my just-installed wall-to-wall light cream carpet!

Justin called before my appointment time and said he was about 20 minutes away and could come right away if it was OK. I told him sure. He arrived and I showed him the 3 locks that I wanted re-keyed and asked him about another door that had a different type of lock and asked if that one could be re-keyed to fit the same key as the other locks. He said sure and promptly went to work. He was finished about the time of the window that he was due to arrive here. He had me try all the locks to make sure the keys worked properly. One of the doors had a sticky deadbolt, so he took it apart again and applied WD-40, making sure I was completely satisfied before he left. Great job. Speedy, efficient and great personality. I would definitely use this company again and wil refer them to my friends.

He arrived on time, listened to what I needed, did the rekeys, looked in his truck and found that he did have the needed knobs for the other doors, installed them, explained why one of mine wasn't working, explained charges, made sure I tried all the locks and keys before he left.

I could not have had a better experience. Justin was punctual, professional, and efficient. The only thing that surprised me was that they still hand wrote and rubbed my credit card. In 2012, I have to come to expect mobile devices to swipe your card and email you a receipt.

Justin arrived on time. I thought he'd only be able to install the locks; I didn't realize he could handle installation of all other items. He had a "happy to help you!" attitude. He is clearly quite knowledgeable about locking systems. The work was done quickly. All locks operate smoothly. Then he pulled out his vacuum cleaner and completely cleaned up. If I were to do it again, I'd probably buy the locks through Texas Rekey (instead of a hardware store) because they seem to have a better selection. I'm highly impressed.

He took about an hour to re-key 10 locks and gave us 6 keys. He gave us the re-key special rate which was very reasonable. We will use them again.
