They did clean my fireplace and talked me into 2400.00 of repairs to be completed in 2 weeks. When I got the invoice there was a statement that if I paid I agreed that all work was completed. Which was not the case. So I canceled the rest of the repairs and had a second company inspect my fireplace. They said it was in great shape and no repairs were needed. A1 chimney saved me 2400. Lesson learned to get multiple estimates.

First, the price quoted was not correct. Secondly, the technician did not prepare for the soot from the fireplace to spread all over the area. He only used a little plastic near the fireplace for protection. I have chimney soot on the floor boards, all of the furniture (sofas, tables, fireplace mantle, accessories, lightning fixtures, blinds, etc). He also spilled oil (WD40) on the stone on the fireplace. WHAT A MESS! The service price quoted was 99.00 for **chimney sweep** vs a firebox but cost me $325.00. Now I have the expense of cleanup for the entire room and other rooms adjacent to that room as the soot spread to those areas also. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend.

Very good, very knowledgeable. The only downer was they didn’t get on the roof and inspect cap or top of chimney.

Project: Demolish old brick fireplace and haul away waste, repair and clean chimney, and install natural stone mosaic tile on fireplace wall. Be sure that you receive the estimate in writing. Confirm all services and work that are included in the job. Communication is not clear either. Ensure that you are speaking with someone in the office higher than the office manager. The crew did not demolish the old fireplace. My husband and son had to do that work and haul away the materials. After one trip to the landfill, we opted to have a service come the next day and haul away the remaining materials. This was an extra $500 expense to us. The firebox was repaired and painted but the chimney was never swept. A job that we were told would take 1 to 2 days maximum wound up talking 3 days. The crew then tried to charge us $600 more than what they quoted us. We wound up having to negotiate the cost with the owner after the fact. While others may have had good experiences with Fresh Air, we will not be using them again.

They don't voluntarily give you a receipt so if you want one you better get it before they leave. Otherwise, the job was done well and they were professional.

respectful, professional. However, workers should have Identification cards and t-shirts bearing the company name. Their trucks should have the company name. i would definitely recommend them!!

As a Property Manager and Realtor for27 years, I have hired contractors for thousands of projects. I have never had a more unpleasant experience with a contractor than my experience with Fresh Air Home Services. They pretty much had their idea of what they were going to do. Not so good at listening to the customer and providing what was requested. They were literally arguing with me in MY HOME as to what I hired them for which was 1 - Clean out dryer vent and reconnect to vent. 2 - install new roof vent. I showed them both of these items from my inspection report. After charging $1850 to clean vents, I was told the roof vent was an additional charge. As they They sent someone out the next day to change out the roof vent "no charge" . Here is a good suggestion to Fresh Air. Bring a vacuum and clean up debris in the house before leaving. Also bring a clean rag and wipe off all the walls and trim from grimy hands. Before they left after cleaning vents, I put my had up dryer vent and pulled out a handful of lint. I asked them if they cleaned it. YES he said. The next day when the guy came out to change out roof vent, the line was so clogged no air was venting. He pulled out a 5 Gal bucket of lint from a vent that was supposedly cleaned the day before. I DO NOT recommend this company for anything.

I already wrote a review but when I looked at my receipt there was no detail. Just a charge of 400 plus. Will be posting experience on my neighborhood page. UPDATE 8/30/2021: I hired them to clean my dryer vent. The base price was $75.00 plus more if there was a blockage. It took them 15-20 min and somehow the bill came out to be $409.00. I have no idea why because I didnt get a detailed receipt. The **blockage** was lent and filled my dustpan. There was something said about a three-year warranty and if I was charged for that, I didnt agree to it. But, since I didnt get a detailed receipt, I wouldnt know. I have no idea what I was charged for and now I doubt if the job was thoroughly done. My dryer vents to the roof and no one went on the roof. I was overcharged around $150 for the job. My sister paid $250 for the same service in Grand Prairie.

Thorough cleaning

Took longer than expected. Cost more than what we were led to believe.

When they call they tell you about the promotion but if you need to have it serviced through the roof it is extra and they do not say until they get here.

I was quoted $79 for dryer vent cleaning when I spoke with the company on the phone. When the techs arrived they moved my dryer and immediately started saying things like this is the worst blockage we have ever seen. (Not sure how they knew it was the worst ever before even getting into the vent). They then stated it would be an additional $200 as the blockage was the worst they had ever seen. I expressed frustration that when I scheduled, I was not warned that the $79 rate was a starting at price and that I would likely pay more. The technician was extremely rude, condescending, and passive-aggressive, shaming me for having such a terrible blockage in the vent and thinking the $79 rate I was quoted was realistic. I agreed to have the work done for a total of $200, which I believe I was overcharged for. While performing the service, the two technicians argued with each other (not sure about what), making me extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this company.

They did a great job , reframing my chimney was a lot of work, more than I thought. Iâ m surly glad I call them when I did . It was completely rotten.

Technicians were professional and performed work quickly and completely.

The two men who came were very respectful and friendly. They also wanted me to know what they were doing and why. Without my asking they wanted to show me why and how they did what they did.

The gentleman explained everything he did very well before doing the work. Very professional, and stayed late to complete the work.
