DAN KEENAN PAINT CO INC

Everything went very well. They prepped all the surfaces, moved furniture and covered the furniture. They laid paper and plastic on the floors. They were very focused toward their purpose. They primed and painted two coats of paint we had selected. Dan actually took our color sample and purchased it. After two days, the job was complete they cleaned up and had us check the outcome. Only slip-up was that some old nail holes still needed patching which was remedied quickly.

I was very happy with the work done by Dan Keenan Paint Company. Richard who provided the quote and supervised the work was very professional and did a great job. The painting crew did a very good job with the prep (removal of two layers of old wall paper and texturing), the painting of the walls, baseboards and doors, and cleanup after the job. The result is I now have a dramatically improved looking kitchen area. The pricing for the work done was reasonable and competitive and the workmanship was very good. So I plan on using Dan Keenan Paint Company in the future and would recommend it to others.

Richard of Dan Keenan Paint Company provided a prompt, reasonable quote. The workers arrived on time as scheduled, repaired all cracks and holes (including replacing some sheet rock). The workers were on time all three days, asked questions, worked continuously and did a great job. We're getting a quote on painting the exterior of the house because we are so pleased. Great company. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

This is by far the best experience we've had with a paint company. Richard was so professional, punctual, detailed, informative and nice when he came by to look at the work we wanted done. Once we decided to pull the trigger, he came by again to talk through final decisions and take notes. He made recommendations for color and finish based on the textured walls in our old, 1926 tudor and was flexible when we decided to add rooms to the bid and change our plans a bit. The day before the painters began the week-long job, Richard called to confirm the details and prepped us on what to move and get done prior to the job starting. The first day of the job, he was nice enough to arrive earlier than the painters so I could meet him, do a walk through and get to work on time. I gave him our colors and left for work while he waited for the crew. My husband and I felt comfortable enough to leave them the keys to our house so we wouldn't have to leave work to meet them. Each day when we returned home from work, the house was neatly covered with paper in the work areas and completely spotless when they were finished with the job. Another surprising plus, Richard called me EVERY day to update me and make me aware of progress and also check to make sure we were happy with everything. This was such a great experience. We will definitely be calling them back when we decide to redo our kitchen cabinets or have any other painting needs in the future.

Very professional. Time and expense were one. Challenging to take old woodwork with multiple layers of paint and get it to look like new. THey did a nice job. Were not low bid. Good communication. Weren't big on sanding and scraping due to potential for lead paint in my old home.

Dan does a great job of supervising all of the work being performed. He also gives great advice regarding what work is necessary- and where you might save your money.

Very pleased with the work. We were in a hurry to get the painting done before moving in, and Richard came out quickly to do an estimate. He was able to schedule the work in the next week. Quality of the work was excellent, and they even touched up some trim and ceiling areas for us that wasn't in the original request.

Richard did an excellent job of supervision. The staff was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We have dreaded painting the inside of our home for some time due to some of the horror stories of our neighbors. Dan Keenan's did an excellent job of working with our family throughout the process. We were impressed enough that we will be using this company for many of our commercial real estate jobs in the future.

It went very well. After initially wanting to stay in house during work, we moved to a hotel for 6 days. The crew was fantastic. They showed up on time 8:30 every day and with only a small lunch break, worked until 5 or 5:30 every single day. They cleaned up at the end of the day, had a good plan of attack, and did an A+ job. I interviewed 3 or 4 contractors , they were not the cheapest or the highest. I dealt with Dan and we communicated very well every day. The few glitches that came up were dealt with professionally and the way any good business owner should treat his customers. I would hire again anytime I needed paint work. No issues with the Company and it was a pleasure to do business with them. They provided references, which gave them great reviews and I was comfortable they would do a great job and they DID.

They showed up on time every day and cleaned, prepped and hand painted the entire outside of my house. They were absolutely great. Their services included 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint in addition to primer. They were extremely reliable and my house looks great. I would definitely hire them again.

Quick turnaround time although project took a bit longer than expected. Painters did a great job, there was some touch up needed but issues were corrected and paint job was satisfactory.

This was a monster job. We have very high ceilings, Lots of large artwork, Also there was water leak staining on 3 areas of the ceiling. Lots of crown molding and just a generally difficult house to paint. They did a fantastic job, better than I thought possible. I interviewed at least 3 contractors and sort of bonded with Dan and I felt he was the right person for the job. His bid wasn't the lowest, actually near the high end,, but his Angie's list comments and perfect num- bers of satisfied customers, was impressive. I called a referral he gave me that had done a much bigger job than mine and he gave me his totally satisfied opinion. We originally were going to live here during the painting, but later decided to stay in a hotel. Smart decision, paint smell, NOT good. They showed up every morning at 8:30 - to 9:00 am and worked until at least 5PM with a lunch break. Even worked on a weekend, that was special. His team were very nice people and the foreman of the crew really knew his job well. They were very professional, covered all the furniture properly, cleaned up every day after work and did one h*** of a great job.. I would highly recommend Dan and the team. I'm TOTALLY satisfied, would hire him again in any future painting needed. I'd be happy to reference Dan. The BEST in town, for sure. Some small issues that came up during the process were handled professionally and were resolved 100%.

He was very thorough and cleaned up well after himself. Very polite and conscientious. Always checked in with me to make sure things were still good. A very hard working crew.

Richard came out to give me an estimate. Once I was ready to start, we chose a date that worked for me. Richard had me select the colors to be used and we reviewed them in person before the painting began. The team of 5 covered everything, laid down paper on the floors and taped off everything before starting. I asked that the bedroom and bathroom be done first. They were completed the first day. Gregory was the foreman and he took care of the two ceiling repairs which needed new drywall. Once completed, you could not see where a repair had been done. The team was so fast that I added the living room to the painting after the first day. LOL in all, they were very careful and neat. The work area was cleaned up each day. They worked hard and took very few breaks. If there were any other rooms to be painted, I would use them again in a heartbeat. I usually do my own painting, so that's saying a lot!

Richard and team did a fantastic job on my home and at a very reasonable cost. They were very responsive especially when I was changing colors at the last minute. The painters were hard workers very self sufficient. They were very careful with protecting my hardwood floors. I was pleased with the work. on a side note, I should have taken their recommendation to use Flat instead of Satin on my walls. They know what they are doing and the experience shows.

Dan and his team were amazing. My schedule is very tight so it is hard for me to meet vendors during the week. Dan went to the house, had an estimate to me in a day (with suggestions) and then, once I signed the contract was there within a week to start the painting. He called me when he saw any issues or suggestions and was simply a delight to work with. Dan even noticed that our deck had some loose boards and he called to ask if he could hammer in some nails for us. I could not have asked for a better service provider. Also, having bid this job out to 3 vendors, he was the most reasonable and timely with his assistance. Well worth doing business with Dan and his team and would use them again FOR SURE!!

Thier employes are without question the BEST in Dallas. They were always on time and always considerate of my property. They protected my furniture, my floors, my carperts and they were very considerate of my wishes. Dan Keenan and Richard Deatridge were both on my property at least once a day and many times two or three time a day making sure I was happy and thier men were right on top of the job. I would have anywhere from two to six workmen in my house at any given time, doing a very professional job. My experience with this painting company was one of the most positive I have ever had. I would recommend this company to anyone needing interior painting.

Dan and his crew are the best! We just bought a house and it needed a fresh coat of paint all over. We called Dan and he came out, gave us an estimate and we ran with it. He and his crew showed up the first day of painting and he went over everything with me while the guys covered every possible surface in the house that wasn't getting painted. All the work was done with incredible skill and care, there wasn't a drop spilled or a trace left when they were finished. Dan and his partner came by often to check on the progress and were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. (I never had to call him since he did such a great job going over everything and his guys are so good.) This is the first time I've had to paint the entire interior of a house, and it turned out to be a great experience. I'd definitely recommend Dan if you want a fantastic experience by people who really care about what they do.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List I called and left a message requesting a consultation and estimate. My call was returned by Julie the office manager that same day. Within 2 days Dan came to the house, prepared the estimate and submitted it to me for review. The estimate was detailed and the price was very competitve. Because we were close to the holidays they locked in the price and worked around my holiday schedule. Dan consulted with me the week before the job started to reconfirm the start date and time and finalize the selection of paint colors and finishes. We added to the scope of the work once they were on site and we still finished ahead of schedule. The quality of work was great. The crew was professional, courteous and neat. Dan came by everyday to inspect the progress and followed up with me each morning by phone. This was one of the biggest and yet easiest home improvement projects I have tackled and it is completely due to the service provided by Dan Keenan and his staff. The inside of our home and the fence look amazing! For any future painting projects I will call Dan Keenan Paint Company. Our neighbor was so impressed with their work on our home that he hired them to paint his house and fence.

We had never used Angie's List before but, being new to Dallas, we did not have any "word-of-mouth" contacts to ask about home interior painters. After reading numerous reviews, we called Dan Keenan. Dan is one of the best, not only in expertise, but he also has a wonderful work ethic and is honest, fair, down-to-earth, and friendly. His #2 right-hand man, Richard, is the daily on-site supervisor who is professional with a great personality. Richard constantly reviewed the rooms being painted, making sure no details were missed. Dan's crew is diligent and worked from 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 p.m. or later every day, including part of Christmas Eve Day and some full weekends. Dan, the owner, came by every day to check on the status of the work. Many times he and Richard were here at the same time, and they always had time to answer our questions. They are great guys and are an absolute pleasure to work with. This was a massive job, painting every room in a 2-story house. The work is beautiful and we could not be happier. We wish continued success to Dan, Richard, and the crew.

Since I was in no hurry work was planned to occur after the summer heat.. However, it began to rain very regularly and the job had to be squeezed in between rain events. The painters were prompt. Very careful about protecting landscaping and other property. They were timely. We had a relatively major issue regarding some areas that were to be painted. Keenan made the resolution as easy as pie and all my needs were accommodated. There were areas which did not need paint at all and Keenan pointed them out with a recommendation to take them out of the coverage area. That saved me money. The job was done quickly. The work is beautiful. I am very happy.

Richard came out and gave us an estimate for all the work. He was prompt about getting the estimate to us. After setting up a date and agreeing on the price, everything went very smoothly. The paint crew did and excellent job setting up and preparing everything. They cleaned up after themselves each day. When the job was complete they moved everything back as they found it. The job done was excellent and exactly as promised. Richard came by everyday and checked on the crew and checked with us to make sure we were happy with the way things were going. We would definitely use them again.

They did a great job. They were prompt and the quality of the work was great. The rooms look nice. I didn't price them against other companies but I thought their price was reasonable. I would use them again.
