Richard was a delight to work with and their crew did a fabulous job! Always prompt and always cleaned up each afternoon which we really appreciated. They were very good about doing the final walk-thru and addressing anything we asked. Dan Keenan Paint Company had painted the interior of our daughter-in-law's condo before she sold it 2 years ago and she was also totally pleased with their work. We will definitely us Dan Keenan when we have our interior painted later this year!

This was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Richard was on time for his commitments from the initial quote (written and competitive) to final walk-through, and stayed in touch and involved throughout the process. His crew showed up promptly each day and cleaned up before leaving. They did a beautiful job on the exterior trim painting using brushes and rollers, and also completed a couple of minor repairs to soffit and fascia. We're quite pleased with the results and won't hesitate to use Dan Keenan Paint Co. in the future.

When Richard first came out, my husband liked his upfront and low-key approach. I found the same thing to be true on the final walk-around. He kept in regular contact with my husband, and we always knew what to expect. His crew were also easy to be around and went steadily about their business. Richard explained exactly what they would do, including powerwashing first. We previously had a powerwashing experience that caused us to have to buy a new window, but they powerwashed gently with no damage occurring. There were two painters on Day 1, four painters on Day 2, two painters on Day 3, and one painter for touchup of a couple of places and a second coat on the garage door on Day 4. We agreed to have the work span the Thanksgiving holiday since we were eager to get started. The crew left their supplies tidied up and out of the way when they weren't here. They prepped and prepped and went through at least a case of caulk. The painting was by hand, and the finished product is gorgeous. We are both relieved to have this finished and thrilled that it looks so good.

From the get-go Richard was personable and upfront. He was our contact with the company and kept my husband clear about the schedule and what would happen. Because we were eager to complete the job, we agreed to schedule the work straddling the Thanksgiving break. His crew kept their supplies and equipment tidied and out of the way when they weren't there. They were easy to have at the house and simply went about their business. The powerwashing was gentle and did no damage -- we lost a window in a previous powerwashing event. They scraped and scraped, used about a case and a half of caulk, and hand painted the house and garage. Day 1 there were 2 painters; Day 2 there were 4; Day 3 there were 2; and Day 4 there was one doing touchup on a couple of places and putting a final coat on the garage door. Richard went around the house with us to be sure we were satisfied; he noticed the need for the second coat on the garage door. I have confidence that their approach to quality work is consistent and would gladly rehire them in the future.

The walls look excellent. The repairs were in difficult areas to repair, but the walls look totally smooth, and I am really happy with the work. And they did a really good job matching the paint color. There were multiple colors of both beige and white and they did a great job of getting the right match for all rooms. They left me the leftover paint, and it was 5 differnet colors to get everything to match. They did a great job of smoothing out the repairs so they look seamless throughout the rooms. And they matched the wall texture in multiple rooms. They also repaired the ceiling in the garage and painted over other imperfections on the wall. The house looks sooo much better now. And Richard was very easy to coordinate with. He gave me updates everyday and had the crew completely repaint several walls because he wasn't satisfied with the slight color difference where a repair had been made. Overall it was a very high quality job by them. My house is less than a $200k house, and I was cost conscious about this project, and they provided good value and professional quality work. I would recommend them.

Work was done in a professional and timely manner, spending the right amount of time on details and not rushing any aspect of the project. Will definitely use Dan Keenan Paint Company again for future painting projects.

Richard showed up exactly when he said he would and his crew showed up exactly as expected and performed a superior job on my house. I have used Dan Keenan Paint company many years and long before Angie's list and had great service. Several years ago we were on vacation and Richard managed painting the complete enterior of our home and when we returned, not once piece of furniture was out of place and the ceiling and walls looked perfect throughtout the whole house. They are not the cheapest paint contractor but you will get a professional quote (no bar napkins) and the work is high quality too. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and Dan Keenan Paint company is certainly worth the money.

This is the second time we have used 'Dan Keenan Paint Company'. We had them first paint the interior of our home and they did an amazing job. And now they have just finished painting the exterior and once again, did a great job. Very professional and their quality of workmanship is A+. On both jobs we had issues with trying to cover existing colors and they were able to work through it. We had minor concerns about our front doors when they had finished and they immediately returned and repainted both doors and they now look fantastic. We will definitely use them for additional projects in the future.

We needed to have our painting scheduled quickly before having some landscaping done. We dealt with Richard Deatherage--he gave us our estimate, then was able to rearrange some scheduling so we could have our painting completed quickly. Five painters came--it only took them 2 days to complete the job. They came for a few hours the 3rd day just to do any touch-ups they found. They were so quiet we hardly knew they were there. The stone porch and walkway were covered with tarps, they taped around the shutters, and we didn't see one single drip anywhere!! Mr. Deatherage came out each day to supervise the work and did a final inspection with us to make sure everything was perfect. We are very pleased.

. Fantastic responsiveness and service. His paint crew are craftsmen - my house was painted with precision and skill and they left my yard clean and tidy every day. Unlike other paint crews I'd used in the past, this crew didn't treat my yard like theirs and dump paint in the grass or leave 'paint water' on the bricks or ground. Also, Dan Keenan's bid was in the low range of the bids I received, so I feel the price was very fair. It was the best service experience I have ever received and I recommend them without hesitation.

Dan, the owner, came out right away gave us an estimate...started the job 4 days later. small job for him. workers came in moved furniture, taped off areas. did their thing and gone in 2 days. It looks great. can't tell there was any water damage.

Did not hire to do the work. Why pay more?

These guys were super nice and Dan was awesome. My house was in really bad shape and they did a lot of work in a short amount of time. Major improvement! I do think they were a little sloppy on the details, though. When I discussed with Dan, he was very nice about it and brought the guys back out to tidy things up (sloppy lines, some paint drips, some paint on the floor, stuff like that). Those things were vastly improved, though still not quite as clean as I was expecting. Again, my house is old and was in bad shape, so I may have had too high expectations. Regardless, Dan was willing to work with me on it. I don't know if I would have them do ceilings again - even with the texture, i see a couple places that should be more smooth. But, I didn't notice them until after we did the other touch ups and I did not contact the company about it. The company is very responsive and I really like the way they did business. Profession, courteous, and very friendly.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Dan responded very quickly to my Angies List inquiry and came to my house for a quote within 24 hours. He was very detailed during his visit and provided me with a comprehensive quote for the job. We needed the work to be completed in a short timeframe and Dan committed that the work would be done professionally and on-time. Gregory and his painting crew arrived at the house on-time as promised and were friendly, professional and talented. They moved and covered all furniture and papered all hard floor surfaces to ensure there was no mess. The daily clean--up at the end of the day was spectacular as we never saw a paintbrush, paint can or ladder. It's as if elves painted all day while we were at work! Job was completed two days early and all punch-out duties were performed. Open communication throughout the experience. We love our newly painted rooms!

Impressive doesn't even begin to describe my experience with Dan Keenan Paint Company! From initial contact to final walk through, the entire staff has been responsive, punctual, professional and service oriented. I was especially impressed with Richard. I initially met with him in mid-December to get a quote and told him I wouldn't be ready to move forward until January. He stayed in touch and was flexible with scheduling. Richard communicated every step of the way and made the whole process so easy! He and his crew were professional and polite. Everyone went the extra mile to be sure I was happy and they were more than willing to solve any issues or concerns. Had I known it was going to go this smoothly, I would've done this months ago! Dan Keenan Painting was great! We had a very tight deadline to have the painting completed and they were able to complete all the painting one day ahead of schedule. The work was very well done and the crew that completed the job were very professional and friendly. Another contractor did some minor damage to the paint after the painters were finished and the painters returned and happily made repairs without charging an additional fee. They were wonderful to work with and we definitely would use them again!

Considering intermittent weather delays due to cold wet weather the exterior paint project was completed without a hitch. Dan Keenan and his partner Richard were on hand every morning to oversee the progress of their crew that ranged from 2 to 4 men. The Keenan crew were all super guys. They worked so quietly I hardly knew when they had left at day's end. As weather delays cropped up, I received a call each time. Keenan's crew moved all exterior fixtures and outdoor furniture with care and consideration to place everything in a convenient, out of the way location. And, when the job was complete, everything was put back in their exactly correct place. The wood repair, prep, all materials and painting were 100% satisfactory. It was enjoyable to receive Keenan's bid proposal that had clear and exact details of the job to be preformed. And when my invoice was sent, the cost for some trim repair that was not needed was deducted from the original bid proposal. This is simply 2 gentlemen looking after their business and making sure everything gets done right! I used Dan Keenan before and have enjoy exactly the same experience every time. In my book, it's IMPOSSIBLE to beat theses guys!
