Service and professionalism were great when I first checked my vehicle in for an oil change and inspection. I also asked them to check the filters to see if that could be the reason my air wouldn't blow very hard. He had someone go over right then to pull the cabin filter from under my dash. It was very dirty and had a small hole in the center. So I definitely had that replaced.
They took longer than expected to do the inspection and oil change. At one point the lady at the front desk called me up there to pay, swiped my card and then said nevermind your car isn't ready. When my car was finally ready she swiped my card again. The cost was higher than originally quoted. I went over the breakdown with her and figured it out myself. she then went and found someone to come and explain it to me after I told her I was okay.
I went outside to get my car and noticed how much better the air was blowing. However, there was a strange noise coming from the air vents. The higher I turned the air, then louder the noise. I drove back around to ask a service tech and he said that was probably because the filter had just been changed (which made no sense). It should sound better when the filter is changed, not worse.
I had my husband look at it when I returned home and he found a small piece of the filter lodged down in the panel where they had changed the filter. He said it must of ripped off when they took it out. Once the piece was removed, the air sounded great, thanks to my husband.
I pulled up and requested the inspection and chose a car wash service from their menu. I chose a 20$ interior and exterior clean and brought up the fact that the exterior should be free because I was getting the inspection too. Good thing I looked that up ahead of time, because they weren't going to give me the discount until I asked for it, both outside and at the payment desk. I grabbed my valuables and exited the car. I was told that it would go to inspection right away and then get washed and the total service should be about 30-40 minutes. Sounds good. The printed ticket they gave me only showed car wash charges, no inspection and no discount. Every other car wash I've been to, allows you to pay for the service right away. I asked about the ticket and was clearly ready to pay, standing there holding my wallet, and I was told that they'd bring in a seperate ticket when the car was inspected. I started to interject when I noticed I could see my car sitting in the parking lot. Hmm. Didn't they say that it was going to get inspected right away? Again, this is on Monday at noon. There are only about 5 customers in the whole place and noone in line, waiting for service. There was a Sonic next door, so I just walked over and had lunch. I kept turning around and peeking to see if my car had moved from that parking spot. 30 minutes later it had not. I was finished eating and already getting a firery frustrated glare in my eyes so I tossed my trash and headed back to the car wash to see why my car wasn't getting serviced yet. As I was walking across the parking lot, someone came and drove my car into the service bay for inspection. and quot;Thank goodness, and quot; I thought, and quot;maybe the car wash won't take that long and I'll still get back to work with only an hour lunch break.and quot; I went inside, opting not to complain just yet, and sat in the waiting area. I was asked to come up to the desk about 15 minutes later and told that my side mirror was cracked so I needed to sign a waiver so the car could go through the automatic wash. I did not think the mirror was cracked, but didn't care and needed them to hurry up, so I signed and sat back down with hopes this car wash and vaccum would only take about 15 more minutes. 30 minutes later my car was and quot;readyand quot;. I paid and went outside as fast as possible since I was already late to get back to work. my car hadn't been vaccumed and they were still wiping the windows down. UUUGGGGHHHHH!!! I'd had it! I marched inside and complained. The girls at the desk didn't seem to care and just made up excuses as to why the service was so slow, the initial man that took the order for the inspection and car wash was there too and said that he didn't know there was a hold up in the inspection bay. So, what does that matter to me? I should have been informed that this was going to take more than an hour! Plus, why did they tell me the car was ready, when it was not??? They didn't even offer any discount or coupons and weren't even apologetic. They said that I could talk to the manager and that he was the guy outside by my car and that my car was actually ready now. I went outside to find my cup holders still wet with cleaner and not even wiped out and a bottle of cleaner tipped over in my drivers side seat. Looking around, only this manager guy was in sight. I tossed the bottle of cleaner out on the ground and grabbed one of the cleaning rags myself to clean the cup holders and a few other things that were very obviously missed. I complained to the manager about the things that were missed, the time it took, and the fact that I didn't see a reason for this to have taken so long since the place was practically a ghost town. He didn't seem to care!! He just shrugged and said I'm sorry and walked away. Is that how a manager is supposed to act? I'm bewildered, p*****, and late for work. I hollered at his back - and quot;I WONT EVER COME HERE AGAIN! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!and quot; I encourage NO ONE to go here.
