Description of Work: I spoke with the owner and he was great to visit with about our project. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He did not come to evaluate our project someone else did and he simply walked in smelled like smoke (not pleasant for non smokers) briefly browsed around and threw a number of 7-8k to do our drywall and texture work. Barely spent 10 minutes. We've received bids ranging from 3k to 8k from bonded contractors so they were the highest and he didn't even measure the home. We got the impression that if he couldn't do the job for a high number he just wasn't interested in helping us with the work.

Description of Work: ABC Painting was great, always showed up on time, professional and courteous painters,the quality of work was excellent. They work with an even coordinated other contractors so all work was completed in a timely manner. I definitely would recommend and use them again thanks again Andrew, Joe and the rest of the guys.

Description of Work: The guy charged me $25.00 more because I lived 12 minutes outside the city of Corpus Christi. That was not mentioned in the deal. My bedroom was a dark color so he had to paint primer first. He said that he could only paint 2 coats- that was not mentioned in the deal either. I had to paint the second coat of the main paint color. I could have done the whole thing myself and saved some money!!!

Description of Work: Prepared and painted interior walls, stair railings, footboards, window sills, doors, and shelves. Excellent job all round, thorough, polite, professional, and personally likable.

Description of Work: Mr. Solis came over to give me a quote the same day I called him. His quote was very reasonable and they were able to start work 3 days later. He brought in a crew of 4 men including himself. They were all very professional and polite. They arrived every day promptly at 8:00 and worked all day. It took them 3 days to finish the job which included drywall repair, scraping of peeling texture, applying new texture and painting the entire second floor walls and ceilings. The work was done to my total satisfaction and they cleaned up after themselves so thoroughly you could barely tell I had drywall work done in the house! I plan to use Mr. Solis and ABC for any other drywall and painting work I need.
