I have worked with this company twice now. Both times they were on time and worked steadily for hours. The worksite stayed clean so I didn't have to worry about my toddler trailing paint all over the house. Shawn and his son, when he is working with him, are hard workers and do a very good job. Would recommend to everyone for interior painting and will use again.

The owner came out and was not able to do the work. So he said he would give me a full refund. I am very disappointed as this was after I had sent an email outlining the work I needed done (as he had requested). In some respects I appreciate him acknowledging his limitations, but on the other hand a lot of time and energy was wasted in the process and my work is not done. The first thing that is curious to me is the company name is Quality Remodeling and yet they do not seem to do remodeling work. Because of my experience I suggested to them that they outline in their promotions the work that they do and don't do to keep from having negative experiences. The details of my experience was that I paid for a Handyman for two full days and I did not get what I paid for. Since I paid for handyman work I was not expecting him to do any complex projects, anything that would take more than one person to do, anything that would require a license or special training, or any specialized equipment. I made a list of some very basic projects that I have personally done myself many times so I know the extent of difficulty and the amount of time that it takes to complete. I had all the installation details worked out and the materials handled, so I really just needed some semi-skilled labor. I also had tools available if needed. What I was not expecting was the owner to bring his young son to the job and count his time towards the 2 days of labor I had paid for. At around $40 per hour for labor per person, I am expecting a qualified handyman with a reasonable level of competency and experience. This teenager was at most a helper and that is not what I paid for. I think it is disingenuous to bring a teenager to the job and call it a two man crew. The list of repairs I gave him included: replacing a small number of bottom rows of damaged siding with Hardie siding, removing an exterior door unit installing a new pre hung door unit, replacing exterior door jamb and hinges, replacing some rotten exterior trim, a small section of soffit board, and if time allowed cladding some 4x6 posts with plywood. This is pretty basic handy man stuff. Of course I was planning on one handyman for two days, so the project was doable if split into two full days. If it had turned out that he had need more time to complete the work, than I could have paid him for more time or taken something off the list if he was not available to complete everything. However after coming to my home and seeing the project he decided that the job was not suited for him and told me that I could get a full refund for what I had paid.

They were prompt in responding as well as showed up on time. They did such a beautiful job. I am very impressed and will be using them again and recommending to my friends and family.

Requested service Monday, October 27, 2014 and at that time inserted optional dates of availability as November 5, 6, or 7, 2014. Listed idea of types of services needed, unable to install a new garage door opener. Inquired about other listed/optional services needed, assured he could do. So verified what handyman for a day means (in terms of hours on site) and inquired about the date of confirmed service. Received a response to the later inquiry days later, and prior to the first optional day I provided that he had no appointments for the remainder of the week. Dumbfounded as to why it took 8 days to let me know he was not available for the optional dates I submitted, I asked him to provide me with dates that work for him, so that I would not plan accordingly only to be notified the day prior that he is not available. Proceeded to discern my mood and aggravation, and let me know he was available Monday-Thursday of next week. Still providing no exact date of his availability and miffed by his discernment of my mood, I decided to end the service request and thanked him for his time. We contacted the provider and learned that the work we needed was out of the scope of the provider's services The provider directed us to Angie's List to get a refund, which we were able to accomplish within a few weeks.

They did an excellent job cleaning, sealing and applying new grout to our tub/shower. It looks better than it ever has. They were punctual. Cleaned up well after performing the work and were very friendly throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

On time for scheduled appointment. Shawn and his son were very nice and worked efficiently.

I have sent this same details to Angie's list 3 different times but I did not use the handyman that I chose in December and did cancel the order for the handyman. I can not rate the experience since I did not use the handyman at all. I would have loved to have been able to use him but because of my home situation could not. Thank you for the opportunity to at least get a handyman when I need one. Honora Jones-Carsey

It was an unpleasant experience. The door was completed and left open to dry overnight. The next morning the door would not close which indicated that the contractor had not even tried to close it before painting. To its credit, the contractor came to fix this the next day. He had inserted the switch incorrectly into the frame, The major problem in performance is mostly in the paint job. During the painting no cloth was laid down even though I asked about its absence. The next day I discovered paint all over my wood floor. I spent hours on my hands and knees getting it off. The embossed glass panel had paint on it. Again, hours spent attempting to remove it. Some still remains. The contractor made no effort to prepare the door for painting but left a label on and painted right over it. He used no painter's caulking so staple holes show in the door. Instead of sanding where he had roughed up the frame, he painted over it. His painting overall was poor with rough spots, etc. I will have to sand most of the surface and repaint.

Shaun is wonderful. He and his son are hard workers, quick and excellent at their work. They get a lot done in a short amount of time. They how up on time, or early, and maintain contact. I would recommend them highly.

Merchant was booked up for the day I needed help.

There were several different projects I wanted done around the house, and I realized the scope of work would not be completely covered with these deals. I discussed this with the secretary, who was very sweet and professional. I received an e-mail from the contractor demanding that I get a refund and that the job was too much. I was puzzled by this, as I said I would pay for the extra work, so I called him to ask him about it. He was very rude to me, and when I pointed this out to him and called him unprofessional he hung up on me!

Outside bathroom for the pool. Leak inside the wall, possibly some rotted wood that needs to be replaced. Quality Control REMOLDING , SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TELL US.

He was very nice and courteous, but he did a really bad job. We only have about two walls of tile and seat in a stand up shower. On the inside corner, he put a line of grout so thick that it actually formed ripples. I am really disappointed. He was here for about 2 1/2 hours. I have done grout work myself in the past and feel that I could have done it better myself and we paid $199 for this work! The pricing would have been fair if he would have done a good job.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they even arrived a little early. They called the day before to verify the appointment for the next day. They are a father and son company. They went to Lowe's for me and picked up all of the materials that were needed. When I felt that enough work was not completed during the day, Shaun agreed and offered to come back the next day for an hour of additional work. I thought they were efficient and they did a very good job. I would use them again.

It was great! They were pleasant,professional, and right on time. Quality was wonderful. They were very quick as well. I wod recommend them to anyone needed inside painting. Very well worth the cost!!!

It was okay. The grout wasn’t as clean as I’d thought it was be. However, the crew and the caulking was nice.

They exceeded my expectations. Fixed everything I asked for including several items that I didn't think could be fixed. Both men were very personable. I really got a bargain. My wife is excited about the flooring and our boy's bathroom problems. My life will be easier because these things were fixed and fixed well.

I'm sure they provide good service; however, they were not willing to paint my trim and ceiling even though I was more than happy to pay the additional fees.

I spoke with the provider and he gave us the cost of how much everything would be and it is more than we wanted to pay so we did the work ourselves.
