The project went very well!

I am so pleased! We had a handful of jobs for him to do for us: replace the kitchen sink and faucet, replace an exterior door and frame, fix a closet door, and install a GFI exterior electrical outlet. All of the jobs were performed perfectly! Unlike many of my other experiences with handymen, Shawn was very professional, prompt, conscientious, and easy to have around. So many times in the past when there have been workmen around the house, it's felt obtrusive and awkward. This experience was anything but uncomfortable. He arrived on time, used his time wisely, and worked quickly but without any loss in quality. I'm so so happy to finally have a handyman that I won't dread calling when needed. Oh, and he was also very quick to make sure everything was cleaned up after each job and he was polite in every detail, too. I very highly recommend Quality Control Remodeling!! I will be using them again, for sure!

I called a couple of different times prior to purchasing the deal because I had a specific situation and wanted to make sure my project would fit within the deal. Everything was set up for the appointment and I called to confirm the appointment. We had already purchased the paint and I wanted to make sure he was going to do the work. When I called to confirm, he asked if I purchased oil based paint to do the woodwork. I told him yes and he said that he will not use oil based paint because it takes too long to dry and he couldn't complete the job in one day.

We were very happy with the job performed.

He arrived very promptly, looked over his jobs and installed fans in a very timely and efficient way.

We were an hour late and he waited without complaining at all. Highly recommend.

I puchased the handyman package for 8 hours package, paying through paypal. Shaun is professional, polite, prompt and very good at performing the installations/services he did for me. Shaun's housekeeping skills are fantastic; when he left, everything was in order. Very satisfied with the quality of work performed and plan to have him return to do more things within the next six months. I would also like to add very important qualities I found in this man: 1) hard worker, 2) trustworthy, and 3) honesty - these traits are very important, especially when you are letting a stranger enter your home, privacy, and personal space!

Overall, what I wanted to get accomplished was done to my satisfaction. Would gladly do business with this company again.

I booked 7 rooms for interior painting with Shaun, and would definitely recommend him. If I need additional painting, he'll be the first person I'll contact. He was tremendously efficient and hard-working; he painted non-stop each day and has an exceptional work ethic. Thanks Shaun!

Shaun did an excellent job and I'd definitely use him again. We were planning to sell our home and wanted to update it a little. I emailed him the list of work ahead of time. He noted that it was quite a list to fulfill in 6 hours, but that he was up to the challenge! He was punctual...arrived at 8:30 on the dot! I reviewed all the projects with him and get got to work immediately. I went to work (my husband was at home). When I returned, everything on the list was completed. He accomplished everything in the 6 hours. In fact, I went into the bathroom and noticed that i had asked him to install the wrong light fixture. Although his time was up and was due to go, he went back inside and switched out the light fixtures without hesitation. That was nice of him to do given that it was my error. My home looks stunning (everyone comments on the lights) and I am glad I used Shaun to do the work.

We talked to Mr. Davis over the phone and setup a date for the service to be performed. On this call we gave Mr. Davis the square footage of the rooms and he gave us an estimate of the number of gallons we needed to buy for the service. The rooms were yellow and we wanted them to become white. Mr. Davis suggested a prime & paint type of paint. On the day of the service Mr. Davis was punctual! He even called us to give us an estimate of the time he would arrive in our house. When Mr. Davis arrived, he noticed that I got the wrong paint for the job (I'm sorry I'm not familiar with paint types...) Fortunately, my husband and I had a short list of things we needed help fixing, and we asked Mr. Davis whether he could work on some of the items while I went to the store to return the wrong paint & get the right ones. We were very impressed by Mr. Davis disposition, speed and efficiency in working on our list! During my trip to the store, he replaced a light fixture and 2 ventilation grills. Once Mr. Davis started painting, he didn't finish until the 2 rooms were done! He took a break for lunch, then he came right back to finish his work. The 2 rooms look great, like we have a brand new house! We will definitely call him again! Thanks, Eda & Jeff

Very good job. Shaun painted two rooms for mr, one being a two story room and did an awesome I will definitely use him again. You will not be disappointed.

He is very straight forward. He does what he says and won't stop until he finishes. Two thumbs up for Mr. Davis if you ask us. We are more than pleased with his services and will be on our speed dial. Do get walls ready as far as pre fill holes and stuff before he comes in... He. Will take care of all the paint job. He will even help you move some furniture back if you need it. Overall job well done!

Shaun arrived at the agreed upon time, reviewed the job site and job list, quoted the additional things I wanted done. When we agreed on the job price, he got his equipment and started to work. He was efficient and organized, did not waste time, nor did he create a mess and he cleaned up very carefully. He completed everything successfully and the paint job (with the sheetrock repair) looks great!

We agreed on a date which met both our schedules. He arrived ready to work, worked efficiently and moved from task to task quickly. Had the proper tools, and expertise, and was pleasant at his work. He would have touched up the paint where the fixture mounts did not match the ones replaced if I had had the paint ready.

The overall experience was great! I purchased a Big Deal which was one room for $99. He communicated/reiterated the need for me to have the room empty and to have a gallon of the paint color that I wanted him to use and he supplied the rest. He did a great job, did not spill paint anywhere, showed up when he said he would show up, and did touch ups until I was completely satisfied with the overall job. With that one experience in my current home that is up for sale, I gave him other painting projects and I received a contract on the house 3-days later. I then sent him to our new home in another city where he did more painting to my liking and installed a new ceiling fan. I am about to call him again with yet another task, a handyman task, as I know he can get the job done right in a timely manner at a fair cost with a smile on his face.

It was an easy, professional experience. Shaun is a really nice guy who took great care to get the job right, even when it meant he had to get extra plumbing parts.

Called Wednesday to ask about having a ceiling fan installed and he came Friday which was great. On time, courteous, got the job done in an hour. I had him take a look at a non-functioning light while he was here and he determined there was no power to it. I knew this light to be one that was rigged up so it wasn't worthwhile to try to figure out the issue (plus we're moving soon). He didn't charge me for taking a look. Would use him again, courteous, professional, great experience.

Very happy with the experience. Of several Handymen add's I contacted with my location, he was the only one who responded in a positive way. He completed the work I wanted done and was very concious of cleaning up after himself. After the work was completed he stayed and answered lots of questions about what we could do as far as other improvements to our home. He also helped us to find a leak that was in our ceiling. Will definitely contact Shaun for any work we need done in the future.

Nothing more to say......he did a great job in a timely fashion for a fair price. Who could ask for more?

Overall I was impressed with Shaun and hope to make use of his services again. I tried to contact a lot of companies on angieslist about the job, but finally I gave up trying to find someone. My wife was able to actually talk to Shaun on the phone on Saturday of labor day weekend. He was willing to discuss the job in detail with us over the phone. Although he lives a great distance from us, he gave a very fair price for the amount of time he spent on the job, not including all the time over phone an email. It was new type of job for him so there were some slight hiccups, but he has a lot of experience and it showed in the overall quality of his work. Although he was unable to install the operator, I felt he was very wise to tell me before getting into it and he was more than fair in his price adjustment. Trustworthy. Experienced. Fair.

I could not be happier with the services provided! Shaun returned my initial email immediately and we set up a time for the install that would work with my schedule. I REALLY appreciated that he was willing to come out so late in the day.Shaun came out himself and installed my new sink and faucet. He did a fantastic job and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I am very satisfied with the job and would definitely use him again for my next project! The Deal was a great price too.

They showed up on time every day and work very hard from the time they got to my house till the time they left.I was some what shocked that they only took about 30 mins for lunch and they were back to work ....The owners name is Shaun and he was on the job the entire time making sure things were done right. I was so impressed!

Shaun was on the job the entire time he also listen to what we wanted and he didn't try and tell us what we needed , the jobsite was cleaned up every day. He set up a payment plan that he followed to a "t" and never ask for a draw in advance. at the end of the job the yard was just as he found it and our deck is AWESOME !
