Quality Control Remodeling

This group is very well deserving of the A rating they have. I wish I could get this kind of service from everyone I hired to complete work at my home.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out great. We just bought a new house and they were actually on the phone talking to our contractor because there were some issues with paint matching. They actually took control of that and resolved the issue we were having. They went above and beyond. They called the paint store. They did all this legwork and they didn't have to do that so I was very appreciative. I would highly recommend using them without even thinking about it. I would absolutely use them again.

There was a mix-up on scheduling but the day went fine and Shaun and Jessie went right to work and handled everything well.

Shaun & Jessie arrived promptly - to the minute - at the scheduled time, which was greatly appreciated. Shaun set to install 21 specially ordered pull-out-shelves immediately. His craftsmanship was truly needed with two of the shelves (out of six) in the pantry, which did not have a shelf to which to attach the rails, but needed construction with 2x4s & spaces etc. so that the rails system could be build. and shelves inserted. This was a challenge, which Shaun handled brilliantly. Jesse, in the meantime, installed 4 big shelves in the master bedroom walk-in-closet and they look ever so beautiful. Jessie also replaced an old, horribly ugly (came with the house) hall light fixture with a new, stylish, modern one. Am so thrilled. While Shaun was finishing the shelves, Jessie installed pad-lock systems to a wooden garden gate & a storage building door. This all was done with an 8 (man) hour contract (2 men x 4 hours). It was utterly a pleasure to have both chaps - a father & son team - in my house and I shall call Shaun again soon, because I have a lot more to be fixed in my 44 year old house. Oh, and just as they were leaving, I asked if Shaun was familiar with car window side shields. He smilingly pointed out towards his beautiful, shiny truck and there they were, similar to the ones I needed to have "snapped" into my car windows! Immediately Shaun & Jessie took the shields from me and proceeded to install them in place! Ever so kind of them, well past the contract time and going way out of their way to take care of their customer! Thank you both, Shaun & Jessie! You did a super job and I shall see you soon! :-)

Purchased the Handyman For a Day coupon - Shaun and his son arrived exactly at 8am like he said. They finished everything on our list and then even gave me a lesson in cutting in trim and ceilings. They were very clean and neat. My bathrooms look great and the house is much closer to selling!

Shaun was prompt, professional and provided excellent service.

Sean came out with his son to repair some leak damage our home had. They were on time, polite and professional. Definitely would use again.

He does get work and everything but he is a little bit lacked. I saw his reviews and they said he is bipolar. His work is really good but he is just a little weird. He sent me some really weird text messages and it’s like if you don’t do exactly what he wants, he will probably be moody. He never came back out but he does nice work. He is a little bit moody and sentimental. He is a bit supramental. He text messages me in New Year’s day and I didn’t reply back and since then, he got moody with me again.

Thanks Shaun & Jessie. You guys rock. You addressed every one of the things I had on my list! Installed the light in the entry closet, fixed the lights in the garage (three of them!), installed the toilet & towel racks in two bathrooms, tightened the loose screws on kitchen cabinet, installed the new light in the master bedroom closet, - all in just four hours! Good job. Oh, and I forgot to mention that you also fixed the small hole in the ceiling of the entry closet required for the electric wire for the new overhead fixture installed there. We have lived in the house for six years, and it has always been annoying not to have a light in the entry closet that gets used so much. It works great. I also like having a better light in our master bedroom closet. I can now see well enough to determine whether I'm picking out a black or a brown shoe! And I am glad to get so many of my "to do" things on my list done!

They came out and were extremely prompt. They deserve every bit of the A rating they have received on Angie's List. They provided excellent, high caliber service in a very timely manner. I had a list of 15 items and they knocked everything out for me within the allotted time. For example they installed hardware and hung wall-to-wall drapery in two rooms, repaired multiple walls and touched up paint, secured lighting fixtures and fans to ceiling, etc. Two handymen came vs. one, and they completed all items in four hours. (Note that the Big Deal was for one person for a full day. With the additional person, the time is cut in half, which I thought was very fair and ethical.) I wish Angie’s List's ratings went as high as an A+ since Quality Control Remodeling certainly deserves the highest possible recommendation.

I want to give a rave review of this company. They were happy to help in any way they could, and went the extra mile for me when the time was up and there had been too many jobs to complete. I offered extra payment, which would have only been fair, but Shaun would not take it. I will definitely use them again!

It went very well. The man who came out was very good. I do not remember if he accepted the coupon but I think that he did. I have noticed that we had to have the materials for him to be able to do the work and I am used to dealing with contractors that will get what they need. He did his best in some effect but I am used to contractors providing the materials that they need without me having to make the purchase. But it was a very good experience overall.

I would have loved to have him come out.. Hear he was good. I can only give F because the others do not apply. He was over booked but he should have at the very least called by the 12th as promised and refunded my money which is on my cc card.

I searched for this provider and was given their name. They did not service my area after i specifically asked for a provider in my area. This is horrible service by them and Angies List!!!!!

The process from start to finish was Great! I received an email about the apt time and then was notified the day of when they were on the way. The shower surround is 16 years old and now it looks like new! Thanks! Would definitely recommend and use again.

The Microwave went in fairly fast and looked like it had been installed when the house was built. The toilet in the Master suite was a nightmare, and this is where an experienced handyman, who has seen it all is worth their compensation. I really admired that they just kept on solving one thing or another until that toilet was behaving like it was designed to behave. It was problem that just not everybody could fix. It was worth the money to get that toilet functioning as it was meant.

It went fine. It was a good experience and they did good work. Their people were also good. I just grabbed the deal when I saw it because I needed a handyman. The price was fair.

I couldn't get the job scheduled in the time frame I needed. He was a great guy and I would have liked to use him but the timing did not work out.

Wow! Shaun came today and due to a misunderstanding by my Husband we didn't have the materials for him to start. He let me know right away he would pick them up and then get started. They are extremely efficient, they don't slow down till the work is done. I can't say enough great things about them.Professional job all the way. Asked several times if that was all I needed done. Very hard workers. When we get a few more things to have done (as homeowners we all know it doesn't take long) Shaun will be getting the call. We've found a great handyman and we're going to hang on to him. Thanks Shaun!

Arrived on time and completed everything expected. Bathtubs/showers look awesome after the cleaning, new caulk & sealing. Front doorknob & bolt lock replaced. Works great. Cleaned up after work was finished.

Work scheduled for 11/25/2013 Shawn was prompt and worked steadily through my list. He did a great job. I will have him back in the future.

I gave him a fencing challenge ... It had to wrap around a tree. I was amazed with the results of his work. He was also an "out of the box" thinker in deciding hoe to complete two other tasks that I needed done.

I had a list of things that needed repair. Shaun is smart, fast and his work is perfect. When he was finished and in his truck leaving I opened a closet door to find a shelf had fallen down. ( he had not installed it). I ran out and asked him if he would fix it. I fully intended to pay additional money for this. He fixed it at no charge.
