He showed up a little early but aside from that everything was as expected. This family crew works very hard and does a good job. Good value for the money!

I chose them because they had good ratings on Angie's List. The work was very good. It was done very professionally and they were in and out, super quick. I will definitely use them again in the future. I already have some plans to call them.

They arrived early, got right to work, cleaned up when they were finished. We plan to use Quality Control Remodeling to continue the renovations on our house.

They were great and very fast! Make sure you have your To-Do list ready cause they will blow through it in record time.

Quality Control Remodeling was prompt, courteous and very professional. There were three of them and they went right to work only breaking for lunch. They did an excellent job and the work was very neat, even with the crown molding and chair rails. I highly recommend them and look forward to using them again to paint the rest of the house.

Based on what was offered, our needs were outside of the perimeters outlined in coupon offering. Vendor will be considered for future projects. Was very happy with their follow-up and honesty on what they could and could not do as part of coupon offering.

The company initially asked me to send a list of what needed fixed. I sent the text to the service provider and when he came I showed him around and informed him the list again. When he asked me if there is anything else , then I told him also if he had time and knew what to do to take a look at two speakers that weren't working. He started looking at the speakers before fixing other stuff. Every tool they needed for the work they had to go get out from the truck. Time passed by and some of the crew were just standing around. He was unable to fix the speakers and ran out of time even though he spent three hours(six man hours out of eight I purchased) working on them. After he worked on the speakers all the speakers play at a different pace, the ones that were supposed to be fixed still don't. It even has affected our outdoor speakers. He then asked what I wanted to do next and I told him to check on a fan that was shaking, he stated the fan was not good quality and could not be fixed. The crew also failed to put the washers behind the screws when he mounted my TV so it makes noise and they put the screws in at an angle. Before they came I had created the to-do list to fix in our new home. After they came and I paid for eight hours of work I had the same list remaining. Please see my response below for the company response: I am sorry but you did not spend 45 minutes on the outside light fixture. I am not a handyman but even I know you could have used a multimeter to check and see if power is coming in to the fixture, instead of trying every bulb I had. After testing 4 or 5 bulbs you told me the fixture is bad and needs replacing, only at a later point your son said its working when he put another bulb in. While you were working on this, your son replaced bulbs in another fixture. Please don't tell me it takes 45mins to replace bulb in a fixture. My complaint with the fan in study was that it won't turn off and I still can't turn it off, it still keeps moving slowly all the time. The ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom make noise when running, you told me that they both had issues with motor and can't be fixed. You said that, just by listening to the sound of it, without actually physically examining. Later your son tried to fix the bed room fan, the minute he adjusted a screw the sound was cut down by half and now the fan swings sideways and it doesn't run fast. Another technician looked at the fans and told me it is fixable and it is not needed for me to replace the fans. TV mounted in the bedroom is at an angle very slightly and the TV in the living room is at an angle that is easily noticeable. You never asked me about the washer of the TV screw, you just put it in without the washer and now it makes huge sound every time I move it ever so slightly. I did not see you use the level to check the angle on either one of my TV mounts. If I take them out now they are going to leave holes in the walls but I can't leave them without correcting the angle. Unfortunately I am not happy with the work you have done.

I was unable to get an acceptable appointment. Only one day at one time was offer, a take it or leave it appointment. When I purchased the deal, I selected the first available days after 4pm. The provider's first response was Jun 3 @ 1pm. There were a couple more email exchanges, I was requesting any day after 4pm. My last email asked "What's the latest time I can get on Jun 3, the provider responded: "1 pm we have a job from 8-12 that morning and I don't want to sit for 3 or 4 hrs waiting if this doesn't work for you I'm sorry we will just have to refund your money". So I requested a refund. Updated after reading Provider response. Thank you for you response. I didn't realize you were trying to keep to the days I requested. The part that offended me was the "I don't want to sit for 3 or 4 hrs waiting"; I would of preferred being told what you said in your response about the times involved. With that said, I am updating my review, from C to a B and leaving open the chance I might be able to work with you on a future project.

They were punctual and got straight to work with minimal conversation. He estimated 4 hours for job and it was about right, though it finished a bit later due to us having to get an extra can of paint. As a note to others, they dont paint 2 coats by default but rather on a need to basis which is what they did for the daughter's room which required 2 coats of paint. This is just to make it clear so there is no misunderstanding as the coupon is silent on that part. Overall we are satisfied with the work performed and will not hesitate to engage their services again or recommend them.

Big Deal was for walls only. While deal description was accurate, it would be helpful to say that trim, moulding and ceilngs are not included. After getting estimates for trim, moulding and ceilings, cost went from $299 to $899. The office manager was responsive, polite and prompt in getting these additional estimates. I would consider this vendor for other needs in the future.

able to do all that we had, liked having 2 at the same time for certain jobs, best painters I have ever seen, also they were good at consulting on additional jobs for a bathroom remodel - very knowledgeable and helped us use their time most effectively by requesting a list in advance and reviewing it during the allocated time to ensure our priorities were met

Throughout the offer the verbiage says walls. Trim and molding was an additional cost. They were responsive and polite, but with adding these additional features, the cost would have gone up 300%. It went from $299 to $899.

Did not receive a reply. Installed the attic stairs myself. Based on Quality Control Remodeling's website, would consider contacting this company in the future. Would first need to determine why Quality Control Remodeling did not contact me. Hopefully, this non-reply was an exception.

They completed everything in a timely manor when they said they would. They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again!

They showed up pretty much on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They were fast and did not chit chat or dilly dally--just got straight to business. They were professional and helpful and did a good job on all tasks. I'll definitely call them again if I need additional help around the house.

I originally purchased an Angie's List Big Deal (3 rooms for $299) but actually arranged for Shaun and his crew (two sons) to paint six rooms on their first visit. They arrived a few minutes early, which is an easy way to impress me, and got right to work. They worked quickly and efficiently. I found them to be polite and focused on the work. The work was not perfect (they missed a few small spots and there were some spatters here and there - nothing major), but it was still very good. In their defense, with regard to the missed spots, they were painting the walls with the exact same color that was already there but using a different sheen (going from flat to satin), so it's hard to see the difference if the light isn't bright. However, the quality was good enough that I hired Shaun to come back another day to paint more rooms and do some handyman work. On the second visit, Shaun and his older son painted three more rooms, caulked two sinks, and nailed a row of wood to the base of my fence. I was not there to greet Shaun and his son that day. Instead, my parents who were visiting from out of town, let them in. Apparently, Shaun impressed my parents enough that they later told me I should call him if I ever needed other help on my house. This is a great compliment coming from them. The price and quality were exactly what I needed for my purposes, and I'm thrilled with the results. If you're looking for good quality work at a reasonable price, I highly recommend this company.

It was great. Called Shaun and was quickly scheduled. Shaun helped me with the amount of paint needed for the job. They were at my house at the time Shaun said he would be here. They came in and got right to work. They were in and within 3-4 hours. Well worth it especially since I didn't have to do it! Thanks Shaun!

Sean and Jessie arrived on time and were done by noon. They did a great job. Without being asked they filled the holes of some curtains I had removed. While I went and ran some errands they had the kitchen up and running almost by the time I returned. I would definitely recommend them.

They painted a bathroom, bedroom and office. They did a great job. They came and did exactly what they said they would do; it was a straight forward experience. When we have used them since they have been very flexible and accommodating.

Arrived at 7:50am, left at 11:50am. Very prompt and efficient. I thought this was a fantastic value for $299 and I hope they offer it again. Although I gave them a B on quality, it is really a B+. This was a father and son team that worked together quickly and efficiently. It was an advantage that there were two of them for 4 hours, as the dog kennel was a two person job. The father was very knowledgeable. The son was quiet and focused on the task. 1) Doorbell; He provided the huge service of figuring out the exact problem (between several options which could have been the problem), handed us the part that needed to be replaced and the exact location in the attic to repair it. He was not able to finish the repair on the doorbell because it required a part, but what he did do probably saved us $150 in electrician service). 2-3-4) Front door lock, flusher handle, and purification filters fixed just fine 5) The caulking work was good but not excellent (I am perfectionist). I tried to make a point of checking all the caulking work as it was being done. The amount of caulk encircling the bathroom sinks was wider than I would have liked, (I didn't notice this until after they left). but it was evenly applied, and I am fine with it. 6) The 4 curtain rods were hung at a height of about 9.5 ft and required a ladder. On the first one, there was a slight miscalculation which cause it to slant upward. However it was quickly corrected in process and they all look perfectly evenly installed and square. 7) The enormous dog kennel was awkward and a little more challenging to assemble that the directions indicated and definitely a 2 person job. They got the job done just fine. Overall I was very very happy with the service and the efficiency of having a rather long list of honey-dos done quickly and professionally. Hope to use them again. The receipt requires that the purchaser sign off on the work without further recourse. I personally think this is appropriate for the price, but the buyer should obviously check all the work directly in time for them to adjust if necessary before they leave. They work fast and expertly, so lots can be completed in the 8 man hours. Excellent value.
