Attended a meeting in Llano, TX about how to cut ones heating and air-conditioning bills. Liked presentation and the ability to help with my electric bill. The product is about 1/4" fiberglass insulation sandwiched between two layers of aluminum foil. I contracted with Energy Solutions of America to install the aforementioned material in the attic space of my office (570 sq.ft.) and on the ceiling of two 8'x40' metal cargo containers (600sq.ft.). The installation crew were to be here on Monday, February 6, 2012. They showed up about 1pm to begin the installation and completed the installation over the office area. They said they would be back the next day to do the cargo containers. They didn't show back up until a week later and then there was just one person. He installed (glued to ceiling) the material and I paid the $1755 for the job after I inspected the installation. Everything looked good. The next day I went to the containers to continue some work I was doing. Lo and Behold, the material had fallen off the ceiling of the container and was laying in the floor. I called the installer and he said he would be back to inspect and reinstall. About 2 weeks later and after several phone calls the installer showed back up and said he had been experimenting on another container and had a better way to make the installation. This time e got about 1/3 of one container done and ran out of adhesive. He said he would get more adhesive and return. Today is June 25th, 2012 and to date he has not returned. I have made numerous calls to the company to no avail. I have suggested they simply return $900 of my payment and i would call it even with no hard feelings. No answer. Bottom line, the material really works, if one could ever get it installed. Lesson learned, never pay right away after a job is completed unless you are doubly sure it is really completed and will last.
