Excellent service. Price was fair and happy with the service.

The job took 3 hours to do, which I thought was longer than I had anticipated for what was required. They came when they said they would. One sprinkler head, after they left, sprayed out into the street. We discussed this sprinkler head before they left. I called and they were going to get back but never did call back. I had my handyman change it for me. Grrrrr.

It went well and items were repaired. Unfortunately one of the technicians took down some info where we have pots and flower bed on a drip system and was going to give me some options on splitting them and he never followed through with any info.

The services were good and the technicians were wonderful. They stayed on task and got the job done in an hour.

I did not really have a good experience with them. I thought they were overpriced. They charged me a couple of hundred bucks to look at everything. They analyzed it and dropped a $2000 quote on me. All I wanted them to come out to was to fix some heads and make sure things are spraying in the right direction they're supposed to. They wanted to do all sorts of stuff. They didn't really fix the initial problem why I wanted them to come out.

I first used Texas Waterboys back in June 2001 to install a sprinkler system.  They did an excellent job and the price was well below what I expected to pay for a system like this.  They did such a good job filling in the ditches they dug that my neighbors came over to see the job and were amazed at how good it looked.  I then recommended them to a friend for the same job and they had exactly the same results, including their neighbors coming over to see.
During the next 13 years I had very few and simple problems with the system.  Mostly a clogged or broken sprinkler head, both things I could fix myself.  After 13 years, the control box finally lost control and needed to be replaced.
I first checked Angie's List and found they still had happy customers and an A rating.  I called and they were not able to get to me for a week but this was not a problem because we are only allowed to water once every 2 weeks due to a 7 year drought.  They made an appointment for the following Wednesday between noon and 2:00pm.  I did not hear from them again but they were standing at my front door at exactly 12 noon on the dot.  A+ for punctuality, you simply can't be more punctual than that.
They replaced the control box with a newer and better model and checked out the entire system.  They checked the system for leaks (were none), unclogged some of the sprinkler heads and replaced a broken sprinkler head.  The cost was right about what I expected it to be.
I held off on writing this review because I had to wait another week to use the system.  Everything worked perfectly and once again Texas Waterboys has impressed me, which is not an easy thing to do.

This morning at 5:15 AM I noticed our front yard was flooded and one of my sprinkler zones was running.  I knew something was wrong as our system has a rain sensor that prevents the sprinklers from coming on in the rain.  It was pouring outside!  After unsuccessfully trying to turn the sprinkler system off I placed a call to TX Waterboys after hours emergency number.  Within 5 minutes (yes, 5 minutes!!!)  Kevin called me back and walked me through how to shut off the system at the main water line.  That worked!!!  He then said he would try to get a crew out today after they opened at 8AM but couldn't promise anything as they were booked 2 weeks out.  
At 8:06 AM I received a call from Kevin saying he had a crew on their way to fix my system.  They arrived at 8:30 and quickly found the problem.  They fixed it and were on their way by 9:00AM.  
That was simply superb service!   From the prompt returned call after hours to helping me shut down the system quickly to fixing my problem the same day.  It just doesn't get any better than this.  Kevin and his team (Pasquel) are outstanding!
If I could give them an A+ I would!  
What other companies strive to deliver, TX Waterboys delivers in spades and makes it look easy!

We had Texas Waterboys install our sprinkler system a couple of years ago.  After getting an inspection with A-1 Foundation for foundation concerns, we had them install a drip line around the perimeter of the house as well as around the 2 large Live Oaks in our front yard.  When I was surveying the work with the job foreman I was concerned about them getting under the roots of the Live Oaks, which were large roots basically visible from the ground.  What appeared to be an all-day job was done in a few hours and the drip lines were well below the roots.  Now the grass is growing over the big circle around the base of the trees and our lawn, as well as our foundation is well watered.  I would highly recommend them!

I have used them a couple of times and they were very good. They did excellent work and were very dependable. They were not the cheapest. I would use them again.

They were polite and professional. They did what they were supposed to do.

There was no follow-up for weeks (they forgot about me), so I kept politely checking with customer service and she finally did a reply-all shouting at her teammates to respond to me.  They then made a suggestion that would have nothing to do with solving the problem, which was very disappointing.

The experience was good. They cleaned up and the trenching could hardly be seen. They explained the programmable settings and how to use them.

The original installed work was done in a timely and clean manner, but we had to change the set up to surface drains.  They came in and changed out the drain in a clean and timely manner.

It was awesome.

I noticed a bald spot in my yard. I ran a test on the irrigation system and determined a zone was not working properly.  The service team was able to get a crew out the same day I called. While the repair guys were there - they did a quick system check and found an issue I did not know about. The staff and crew are always friendly and a pleasure to work with.

I wanted a custom irrigation system that would allow me to address the varying water needs of several planting beds located throughout my property, while providing efficient spray coverage for the grass.  I also had a problem of rainwater collecting in a low spot near the back corner of the house, from gutter runoff.
I had four people come out to give me bids on this project.  Of the four, Craig from Texas Waterboys seemed to have the best grasp of what I wanted and the best idea for handling the drainage problem.  He impressed with his flexibility and expertise, and submitted a proposal that was both thorough and competitively priced.  Texas Waterboys is also one of the few companies that install Hunter rotators, which have been well reviewed for water efficiency.  (The sprays also look pretty cool compared to the Rainbird heads, which is a bonus.)
The entire project took 2 days to finish.  The crew arrived on time both days and worked very hard to ensure everything was done right.  When a few minor problems arose, they quickly resolved them to my satisfaction.  They gave me options on where certain components (such as valve boxes) would be located.  I was impressed by their efficiency and how much pride they appeared to take in their work.  The drip lines were laid in a comprehensive pattern that provided even more coverage than was originally discussed.  Afterward, everything was cleaned up thoroughly and the trenches were neatly filled.  It was a bit windy when they finished, so they could not check the spray pattern of the nozzles completely and returned another day to ensure everything was fine-tuned properly.  They also added a few doughnuts at no charge to protect the sprinkler heads along the driveway.
It's been 2 months since the work was completed, and I am loving my new sprinkler system.  I have full coverage of my lawn, and runoff is minimal compared to my neighbors' systems.  The drip zones are working great and my plants have never looked better!

I was very pleased. I thought it would cost a lot more and I feel they saved me money.

As I said above, it was a pleasant experience from the scheduling phone call through the actual repair process. Something that we were actually dreading the outcome of, turned out to be a relief thanks to them. They were professional, courteous and handled the problem quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.
