We relocated. We never had the bathroom remodeled. Tim happily kept our money.

We asked Tim to fabricate a custom mantle from a picture we found on the internet. Our style is Arts & Crafts, so there weren't any good local choices. Tim and Sergio absolutely nailed the design down to every detail including the stain color to match our furniture. Sergio and his crew also did a fantastic job on the installation. To this day, we get many compliments on the mantle. Tim is extremely easy to work with and communicated very well throughout the whole process. The quality of their work is fantastic.  Tim is the owner and helps in the design process and has a high attention to detail.  They build and finish their products in their workshop and bring them fully completed for installation.  It's the best of both worlds; custom cabinets without the mess and smell of in-home construction.
One thing to watch out for is his cabinet doors are inside mount and, thus, take about an inch of shelf space away.  Had I know this beforehand, I would've asked for either outside mount or for the shelves to be deeper.  He also made one design mistake that was found at install and too late to do anything about it.  It's not terrible, I just had to re-think the use for that particular area.  Everything else is pretty perfect.  The finish is very durable and looks and feels like it came from a furniture factory.
I gave them a C on responsiveness as it usually to a week or so to respond to my emails.  But I always did get a response and the quality of the work made the slow responsiveness worth it.

I can write a very long letter about this company but I am going to keep it as short as I can. Tim is the one I talk to the most but Sergio, his partner, is great as well. These guys run a first class, first rate company. Their quality and attention to detail is amazing! I have had a ton of work done in our new house and I have had to deal with a lot of bad contractors and workers so I was wary of everyone. But I could tell Tim was going to be one guy I wouldn't have to worry about. Even though they were back logged, they got done with the work around the time when they told me it would be done. They do all the work at their shop. When finished, they come and install it in your house in just a couple of hours, depending on the size and difficulty of the pieces. So there is no big mess. Not even a little mess.
At any rate, I never had to say anything while they were installing. I was just sitting back and watching in amazement how detail oriented Tim and Sergio were. They treated the pieces and my house like it was their own. The work looks amazing! The built ins have totally transformed our house. We had a large built in for the study, the mud room, the family room niche that can be either a tv stand or an aquarium, and a large cabinet built in for the game room. The game room one is so that if we moved we could take it with us. Tim told me that they would help disassemble it so it would be easier to move. That is very nice of them to do that.
At first you might think the price is a bit much, but once you see the kind of quality wood work that goes into it and the equivalent furniture prices you would have to pay if you bought them at a store, then you will not think the price is that bad. Trust me, you will not be able to find stuff like this that goes so well with your house at any furniture store. These are specially made for what you have. I couldn't be any happier!
I will be using these guys again very soon for our media room! Can not wait!

I first went to see Time with some ideas about our needs in December of last year. He came out to our location, and did initial measurements. We talked about the project and what we wanted done and he came up with some ideas that we had not considered. For example, we wanted a large readers table similar to one that had been forwarded to us in a photograph. He understood exactly what we wanted, and actually improved on what we asked for. He was able to duplicate an item so well, that were it not for a small dedication plaque on one, they could not be told apart.
He came with final plans and remeasured. At that time we asked for some small modifications, which he made without any problem at all.
The installation was done on the date he said it would be done, and the end result was outstanding. People were in awe when they saw it for the first time.
When compared to other vendors, his price was better than anyone else. He was great to deal with throughout the entire project from beginning to end.
I would not hesitate to use the services of Tim Kennedy's company again, nor would I hesitate to recommend his work to anyone interested in a custom furniture installation for their home.

Tim Kennedy runs a very outstanding company. My fiance and I just moved to town in December and happened to be looking for some customer furniture (peninsula desk, entertainment center, and wine bar).

We stumbled upon Select Cabinet Co. on a trip to Stonebriar Mall. Tim did a great job listening to what we were looking for and scheduled a convenient time to come by our house the following Saturday. We explained everything we wanted done and Tim helped us with some design ideas. He took measurements and then made 3D models for the three pieces we wanted. We made a few changes and decided on stain and wood to be used. Tim let us know it would be 6-7 weeks for install.

Tim kept us informed the entire process and let us know they were running one week late. They installed on a Saturday to accomodate our schedule and the desk looks magnificent! We will be using Tim for our other projects when we fit them into our busy schedules.

They were punctual for both the estimates and installation. Overall we were very happy with the service and with the design. There were a couple of minor things that should have been done differently but this kind of custom work is almost never "perfect". We would definitely consider using them again. One advantage over several other cabinet makers we contacted- most install unfinished cabinets and then do the finishing in the home This is inconvenient to say the least and with a toddler a significant consideration for us. Stone Creek delivers a fully finished unit. All the staining and finish works is done in their shop.
