Remarkable Painting

We contracted Southern Painting to come and paint all of the main rooms and a two of the bedrooms prior to moving into the house after we purchased it. They came over for a consultation and even though we had an "idea" of what colors we wanted Mark ( the Owner of the Denton location) gave us great ideas on how to accent each rooms features to really make each room special. Once we got closer to the painting days - Ron (the Denton Color-Consultant) called to confirm our paint choices and confirm when the painting team would be at our new home. On the day that the painting began the team arrived on time (actually a few minutes early to unload). We walked through each room to review colors and repair needs. The next three days they painted everywhere except the main bath and guestroom - which did not need to be refreshed. They were very respectful to our family as we were in and out of the house to slowing move things in. They kept their equipment very contained and cleaned-up every day before they left. We were extremely happy with the work, they used Sherwin-Williams paint so, in a way ... sadly, we will probably not need them to come back anytime soon to refresh things soon unless we want a color change! We would definitely recommend Southern Painting of Denton County to anyone.

I had a previous painter that did a horrible job on a new apartment for my mother. I was so upset, I decided that it had to be repainted, so I call Southern Painting. Ron Carson came out and gave me a price and a date that could do the job. They arrived on time and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them.

We had very personalized service. They came to the house, listened to what we were trying to do, made suggestions on what needed to be done and what we could do to limit the amount of work we needed to pay for. Then another individual came to the house and helped us select appropriate colors for each room in the house, with an eye to our need to put the house on the market for sale. The crews showed up on time. Worked very efficiently and finished a day ahead of schedule. We will definitely use them to paint our new home.

We used them for interior painting as well as exterior and some gutter repairs. They were amazing. The whole team from start (color consult) to finish/walk through was wonderful. We will be using them in the future for sure! I'm VERY picky about painting and they truly did amazing work.

The crew that came out did a pretty good job. They had to re texture, and most of the major work was in our master bathroom. They also went ahead and did some more difficult repairs in our living room ceiling. The crew and the crew leader were really good. There were two different salespersons who gave us the quotes for interior and exterior. We got several quotes from other places from Angie’s List. We told them their cost for exterior was close to normal, but for interior was really high. We asked them to they could make some accommodations or adjustments to make it more okay. We weren’t exactly looking for the cheapest price. They were fine about agreeing, and we went down a few hundred dollars. The Friday they showed up they started doing the work. We walked the house one more time and then they started adding stuff on. We informed the office about what we had discussed and told them we didn’t the additional work that they had to do in the master bathroom. Service wise and the work that they did were really good. We were really turned off by their sales guy. We contacted and told them we were not going to pay them until they took care of some issues we had, and they got it fixed in two days. They were here on time when they came to give us a quote.

I am quite pleased with the work. The crew worked very well together and independently. They gave me exactly what I asked for and did it with great professionalism and pride in their work. Bravo Zulu!

I paid $2500 for exterior painting and $2600 for some interior painting. They were very professional. They did great job of preparing and cleaning up afterwards, so I had no problems whatsoever with any of the workers. Everyone showed up when they said they would and completed the job on time. I have heard from other people that they are a little bit more expensive than some others, but I am willing to pay more to get what I want. I am considering using them again if they can do what I need to have done.

The owner came out to give the estimate. He was polite, knowledgable, and thorough. The crew showed up on time, got done quickly, and they did a great job. The final price was exactly the same as the initial estimate.

A crew of 6 arrived on-time on Friday and did all of the interior work, as well as the front door. The team did a great job at preparing the work areas so the cleanup was a snap. This went very well. On that Friday we had rain off and on. The lead painter asked if we could wait until Monday to do the outside work. This wold allow the wood to dry. We agreed. On Monday to team returned and did another great job on the two pergolas.

Painters showed up on time, masked areas, worked swiftly to finish the job and then cleaned up nicely. No complaints whatsoever. When they came out to give an estimate, I asked about a few touch-ups and they added maybe $20-$40 for these small areas that saved me a huge amount of time and effort. I will definitely use again when I have painting needs.

I thought they were really good. The man was helpful and spent a lot of time with colors, but their estimate was three times the prices of others.

I prefer not to disclose the amount that I spent. They are excellent. Their workmanship and the way they treated me as a customer was excellent. I will use their services again in the future.

Operation went well. Old guttesr were removed prior to painting and new gutter installation was completed after painting allowing the soffit underneath the gutters to be cleaned and painted..

They were very professional, and I liked them. The gentleman that came out was very friendly. I thought they were very honest. Their price was based on a kind of menu, and I could pick and choose what I wanted them to do. There was a price for the stairway, a price for a certain room and so forth. I did not have to take everything, which I liked. Their estimated price for what I chose was $3000. They were a little high priced compared to some of the others. I did not go with them because my husband wanted to go with somebody that he had used in the past. I would consider using them again in the future.

They did a good job. They came when they said they were going to come. They cleaned everything up. They were friendly and nice to deal with. Everything looks very good. I didn’t do that much comparison regarding the price. It seemed within the realm of reason. They did a nice job. I would use them again.

The first time was around $2,000 and the second time was around $200. We don’t have a lot of experience with other companies.We had on instance when they didn't show up when they were supposed to.

Did not get any response to email, nor phone call. Not very professional or responsive.

The painters showed up exactly when they said they would. They came with 7 men, I was informed who the job foreman was, and they walked through the job with me one more time, to make sure that we had everything straight. We added a couple of small areas to the job at the last minute, which they gladly did, and still got everything done in the estimated time of 2 days. They repaired every nail hole, nick and crack in the walls, and even repaired the ceiling where there had been a leak, putting new texture on. You cannot tell where the leak was, and everything came out perfect. I am very picky and was ultra pleased. I will use them for my next project.

I have used Southern Painting for several painting projects. The quality of the work is exceptional, the painters take the time to properly prepare for painting and do take all the appropriate precautions with moving and covering furniture. They provided me with poster board samples of the colors I was interested in and provided expert guidance in my color selections. I am extremely pleased with the work they did for me.

Mark Kinser is the man we dealt with. We've used him two or three times. They are very professional and they do top quality work. They are never the lowest bid but they always do work almost to perfection. Mark has a very good eye for colors almost to the point where he has the paint colors memorized. He is very good at helping you choose your paint colors and consulting with you. He is also good at working with your decorator if you have one. Even my decorator was impressed with Mark's knowledge.

They were very prompt, they show extreme care in their work, and the estimates have always been really good.

It was a breeze for us. We hired Southern Painting to paint our Mother's home. We had used them last year to do our home. Troy came in & introduced his workers and took them through the home to show them all that we needed done. Then they immediately went to work moving furniture to the middle of the rooms & making sure all is covered including the floors. This was not going to be an easy thing for our 80 year old mom, so they actually stayed late the first night & turned this 3 day job into a 2 day job. They also made sure her living area was completed the first day & put back so that she was not inconvenienced. The men were professional & treated our her very well for which we are very appreciative.

All aspects were performed as promised. Crew was on time each morning. and cleaned up before leaving. Troy was on the site at the beginning of each morning, at lunch break, and at the end of the day. The light fixtures were not put up as good as they were originally installed. Other than that all was great.
