Description of Work: They installed a wireless garage door opener; a belt drive garage door opener. So they replaced the older garage door, put in the wireless one, there was a belt drive system, and the replaced and tuned all my rollers.

 + -1 morePAUL, THE SALESMAN, CAME OUT TWICE WHEN I HAD MORE QUESTIONS (MY GARAGE IS OUT OF PLUMB AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE INSTALLATION). THE INSTALLER, ERIC, WAS NEAT, CLEANED UP WELL, AND DID THE JOB IN A SHORT TIME. THEIR PRICE WAS ACTUALLY LOWER THAN ANOTHER QUOTE I GOT.
Description of Work: INSTALLED 2-CAR GARAGE DOOR, INCLUDING SPECIAL WORK BECAUSE MY GARAGE HEIGHT IS LOWER THAN NORMAL. I WAS ABLE TO USE A COUPON FOR $30.

 + -1 moreREPAIR PERSON WAS THERE WITHIN ABOUT 1 1/2 HOUR OF PHONE CALL TO COMPANY, ARRIVING WELL WITHIN THE TIME WINDOW PROMISED. I.E., THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT AS DOOR WITH BROKEN SPRING IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN BY ONE PERSON, VERY DIFFICULT EVEN BY TWO. WORK COMPLETED WITHIN A HOUR. THE INSTALLER APPEARED KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMPETENT. (AS I SUBMIT THIS, RESULT HAS BEEN PROBLEM FREE FOR TWO WEEKS.) INSTALLER CLEANED UP AFTER HIS WORK. I DID PAY A BIT MORE THAN I EXPECTED PRIOR TO CALL (REPLACING BOTH NOT DISCUSSED AT INITIAL CALL) BUT INSTALLER RECOMMENDED AND SAID EXTENDED WARRANTY REQUIRED REPLACING BOTH SPRINGS (ONLY ONE BROKEN). ALSO, UPON DISCUSSION, INSTALLER CORRECTLY POINTED OUT THAT TWO PRIOR COMPANIES WHO HAVE PERFORMED GARAGE DOOR WORK FOR ME ARE NO LONGER IN BUSINESS BUT OVERHEAD DOES REMAIN...I AGREE THAT IS WORTH SOMETHING...I LEAVE JUDGMENT TO YOU.

AFTER GETTING AN ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS REASONABLE, THE SALESMAN, FRANK TAMAYO, EXPLAINED SOME CARPENTRY WORK WOULD NEED TO BE DONE ON THE FRAMING BEFORE A NEW GARAGE DOOR COULD BE INSTALLED. I HAD THE CARPENTRY WORK DONE, OLD WOOD REMOVED, NEW WOOD/BEAMS INSTALLED, PRIMED AND PAINTED, YET WHEN I CALLED TO SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION A NEW WEEKS LATER, I NEVER RECEIVED A RETURN PHONE CALL.
Description of Work: THEY DIDN'T PERFORM THE WORK AS THEY NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL TO SCHEDULE INSTALLATION.
