Nick is a great guy!

Do not believe the good reviews! My guess is most of these good reviews hit HomeAdvisor within the first month of project completion when everything is still new and looks good. This review is written 5 months after project completion. All of the problems detailed below happened with 2 months of project completion. Nick never responded to a single call, email or text. We hired Nick per 1) a recommendation, 2) his low cost relative to other bids, and 3) his estimated time to project completion. The project was a mud-room addition and took place in June 2020. All went well with planning, but at the mention of contract, he was quick to jump on me about how his guys quit on him because I asked about a contract and he threatened to walk away from our project. So, with the recommendation from a friend and a relatively simple scope of work, we decided to proceed. In addition to not fulfilling all of the previously agreed upon items within the scope of work, problems started appearing within a month of project completion. Grout was cracking, there is a long crack in the paint where the wall that he hung meets the ceiling. The door-seal/weather stripping has started to come off of the door that he installed. Also, part of the scope originally agreed upon was to re-hang some cabinets in the garage. He never did. I also asked him to take the home-security magnet from the old door and install it in the new door. He never did. He replaced wood floor-boards with cheap MDF floor-boards in a laundry room and the new mudroom. Really Nick? MDF in a mudroom? I called, emailed, and text him multiple times to come back and complete the work and repair the poor workmanship. He never responded to a single one. Now I see how he makes his money. With all the reviews that have come in since June 2020, it is obvious that his MO is doing the job quickly, cheaply, and then disappear. Look, if you want to deal with fixing the problems that undoubtedly will appear, then hire Nick. Because he will not fix them. He is not accountable. Nick, I will delete or update this review if you decide to do the right thing. You know how to reach me.

Timely, fair in price, good job on the work completed. One job was unable to be completed and was left as is instead of being put back to its original state until the parts/replacement could be ordered. Other than that; good job.

Nick was incredibly quick and easy to deal with. He also ended up charging less than the estimate. Iâ ll definitely consider him in the future for other projects.

When Nick inspected the problem, he didnâ t wait and got straight to work due to the apparent urgency. Very surprising and very welcome. Iâ ve asked him for quotes on some other projects around the house.

Nick was professional, timely, and just an all around good person. His work was impeccable... I will definitely be hiring him again.

Professional, prompt service!

Nick called, gave an estimate for the project the same day. He began working next day and completed work in timely manner. He and his crew were very professional and cleaned after completing their work. Highly recommended!

I hired Nick to do some minor paint touch up, repair a fence, and replace a toilet float. The section of the fence repaired blew down again a few days after the job was completed. The toilet now will only flush if the handle is held down and every fourth flush or so, the toilet will not flush at all. I have emailed, called and texted Nick for over a month to come back for these items. He said he would be here on Jun 2nd at noon, He did not show up and has not responded to any of my attempts to contact him for well over a month. I have resorted to hiring another contractor to get these things wrapped up. If you are looking for communication and reliability, you are spinning the roulette wheel with this guy.
