Murphy's Lawn

Murphy is very creative and has good landscaping ideas and the work he does himself is very good with the exception of overlooking sprinkler system.  He had more than one crew to help him, however he had a hard time communicating exactly what was needed  to them with the result of 3 breaks in the sprinkler system which costs $143.00 to repair.  (my expense after a $200 water bill.)  I think he really wanted to provide me with what I wanted but his hyperactivity got in the way, he did not finish a couple of areas by the back porch and I really didn't care by that point,  I'll deal with it later.

He has worked and done landscaping for me at my previous home. He is honest, knows what will grow in Central Hill Country of Austin Texas. He has done work for me for 3 years and I can't imagine allowing anyone else to work in my yard.

Everything is always exactly as I want it he is very much attention to detail. He is very affordable and stands by his work. He is very talented an knowledgable at what he does.

We have called on Murphy for the past several years on different projects. He shows up when he says he will and even follows up on past projects. Murphy has always returned our calls. When we called him about landscaping design, he thought it through and came up with great ideas which we accepted. On another project, he completely resodded most of front and back lawns and to this day it looks beautiful. We had drainage issues in a low spot especially during torrential rains (when they occur) and he came up with a design comparable to a french drain. It has helped considerably and looks great! Sprinkler system pipes can be problematic when working on lawns. Murphy is prepared to make repairs and any changes needed. The price quoted above is a total of different projects which we found fair. Murphy is a personable guy and a hard worker. He does beautiful work and does a great job. We will continue to call on him for our yard work needs. Thank you Murphy! You are appreciated!

Murphy is a very hardworking, down to earth person. He showed up on time after one phone call. I was having water drainage issues into my house. He carefully dug french drains, with an extension pop up valve to divert drainage away from the house which solved the issue. I have been using him for almost two years and continues to do work at my place, which includes trimming shrubs, mulching and weeding beds and lawn mowing services. One of the most honest and knowledgeable individuals out there. Not to mention, he works on the books and pays taxes like the rest of us. Keep up the great work Murphy!
