I was very satisfied with the quality of work done and the pricing, considering it was less than half of the other estimate I received. Freddie (the painter) was friendly, professional, and helpful in every way. My wife was very comfortable with him there while I was working. My main complaint is the "hidden charge" you hear about. Courtney (owner) was very courteous during the estimating process. After I decided to hire him, I asked if the company accepted credit card payment and he assured me they did. When the job was complete, and it was time to "settle up", Courtney asked me if I could pay with a check. I reminded him that we'd already discussed the fact that I would be using one of my credit cards. It was THEN that he informed me he would charge me 3% extra for using my card. I was upset because this wasn't disclosed up front and let him know that. When I've dealt with other vendors, something like this would have been admitted to and they would waive the "fee" to correct the situation. Not this time. I ended up paying the extra "hidden charge" fee. For that reason, I will not deal with this company in the future.

Courtney, from Five Star Painting, was very professional, and his company did a great job on my home. They repaired several stress fractures I had in my drywall, and did an excellent job painting the areas as well. They go above and beyond in their job performance. I highly recommend them for painting and drywall needs!

Dan Shaeffer came to give us an unbelievably good estimate on the work to be done. He and his team were hired to put in insulation in my garage and the garage roof, new drywall and paint. The team was so professional and pleasant that we hired them to paint the outside of the house after their first contract was completed. They showed up on time, are delightful to be around, and to work with. Every issue was addressed as it came up immediately. I've had many painters in the past and no team was as professional and fun to work with as this team. There were no mistakes, and no do-overs. Everything went as planned. Dan is amazing to work with.
