Bella Bugs

The gentleman was on time and courteous. He sprayed all areas as advertised without me having to follow him around or remind him. I asked him about what specific types of mosquitoes the spray protected against but he seemed unsure. Different species carry different diseases but that's not what we are here for...A call was made and my question was answered. Thus far we have been very happy.

The service worked out fine. They showed up, gave me an estimate, and then came back and did it.

They were very friendly and professional. I felt like it was a good value for the service. They answered all of my questions and showed me what they were doing, making sure I understood how to make sure our pest problem didn't return.

John called an hour beforehand, as prearranged. The team arrived 30 minutes after their ETA but it was raining so I expected them to be late. David was the technician, and explained all he knew about the process and product safety since I have cats and plants and was concerned about their exposure. He said that I may see bugs up to a week after the treatment so only worry if I see them after that. If I called for another appointment after that, they would call it an "infestation" and charge much more for treatment. Since the reason for my call were small roaches and small beetles in half of the kitchen, it would be a stretch to say I had an infestation, but he wanted to plant the seed. I had been told by the dispatcher with whom I scheduled the appointment that I didn't need to empty out the cupboards, but I may want to for any areas on which I wanted them to contentrate. It turned out that I should have emptied all the drawers and cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms since David sprayed everything in the drawers and cabinets - even my toothbrushes in a drawer and toiletries under the sink. This wasn't just a little stream around the perimeter of each area but a wide swath across everything. I don't know if that's normal or expected, but it certainly wasn't either to me. It felt like sloppy, careless work just to get the pesticide in there. I was told to let the product dry for an hour or two, then I could wipe down the middle of each area with household cleaner - leaving the product around the edges - and I would be good to go. Three hours after the treatment I still had puddles of product in drawers and cupboards that had been treated. This seems excessive and appears to be the work of someone who is not paying attention to quality. The job may have been effective - I guess I won't know for a week - but I felt like the job was sloppy with little attention to quality or care of my stuff. This may be a misunderstanding on my part since I am new to extermination procedures, but that's where I am. Either the dispatcher needs to instruct folks to clear out all their kitchen and bathroom cupboards or the job should not entail spraying all products within those areas that are left intact.

They are great. They are responsive when I call with questions or issues and always leave service summaries if I am not home when the service occurs

It took a few trips, as 'Paco' (we named the squirrel that had taken up residence in our attic) was a determined little guy but, he was ultimately captured. Scott enthusiastically returned both times we heard him after the initial visit. The tasks included sealing multiple small entry points along the roof and placing traps and bait in the attic and outside the house. Paco managed to tear away at one of the screens at the attic but, Scott was able to reseal it before it got too bad and, on Scott's last visit, an apparently outwitted Paco was finally captured in one of the cages and released at a sight far far far away from our house! Good job overall by Scott and excellent support by the dispatcher.

Booking was very easy with the company. Pest control guy was punctual and very quick. He checked around the entire house for other possible nests. Provided a full explanation of what he did and a bit about the chemicals used. We have a dog so it was nice for him to explain it is not toxic for dogs.

I bought the Big Deal from Angie's List for $96. Pat informed me on the phone that if I had carpenter ants, they would need to use a different chemical and the price would be different. okay. The crew was to arrive one day between 11am and 1pm, but they were behind and didn't call me until after 1pm. I called Pat and rescheduled the service for today. Pat was very apologetic. I was just glad they were able to reschedule me within a week. Traffic can be an issue... and some times service men don't know how long it will actually take them to complete a job. The crew arrived promptly today at the agreed upon time. John did the inside of the house while I showed Dave the fire ants in the mulch outside and the wasp nest. Dave indicated that what I thought was fire ants were actually carpenter ants. Oh horrors. I knew that the chemicals used for carpenter ants is more expensive, so I called Pat who agreed to apply my Angie's List Big Deal to the cost of the carpenter ant treatment! YAY! The crew was very respectful and professional. They called before they arrived, they applied the chemicals carefully... they sprayed my fence and the border of the property.

The representative was friendly and helpful and we haven't had any bug issues since.

Ever since Bella Bugs came to spray the yard and perimeter of our new house and lot, we have not had one mosquito bite in the past 2 weeks (vs. before, when anyone would get bitten at least 5 times if they stood in the backyard for longer than a few minutes...). We decided to go with their 'eco-friendly' bug spray option since we have a dog, and our dog has been fine and the eco-friendly spray seems to be just as effective as any other spray. Would definitely call Bella Bugs again for quarterly sprays.

The crew was professional. They requested photos of the pests before heading over, perhaps to make sure they were bringing the right material. The pest treatment seems to have worked well.

Pest control tech arrived on time & was very friendly...even after getting stung in the face Quality of service was good...a few wasps came back after 3-4 weeks They quickly sent someone back to take care of the new wasps

Technician was very polite and they did a thorough job.

I called yesterday to set up the service. Scott came out today to complete this work. I was very impressed with how accommodating they were, as I was concerned about the pests in my vegetable garden. He sprayed all around the house, and all throughout the woods surrounding my home. They did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them.

My yard had become infested with very aggressive Yellow Jackets. They built nests in the ground and were flying all over the yard, making it almost unusable. Their string was very painful; I had never experienced a more painful bug bite. Bella Bugs Pest Control did an excellent job! They showed up on time, were very professional, very thorough, and very helpful. They resolved the problem almost immediately. Prior to the treatment the bugs were flying all over the yards, after the treatment they were gone and I have not had any further problems. I highly recommend them!

It went great! I highly recommend Bella Bugs. We had just moved into a rental home and it seemed like the activity of moving in got a bunch of ants excited - we had small numbers of them coming out from the walls/baseboards in a frew random places, but it was alarming because they were all very interior areas where we spotted the clusters which made us think it was a larger problem that was in the walls of the house. Bella Bugs came through, sprayed, and beginning the next day we started finding dead ants in a few places and after a couple days of that we haven't seen any since - dead or alive. Problem seems to have been taken care of with one treatment. Also, we had six wasp nests in various spots on the outside of our house. Those were sprayed, knocked down and we haven't seen any wasps in the area since, which is wonderful because we spend a lot of time on our patio. :) Yay Bella Bugs!

The service was great. The lady on the phone asked plenty of questions which made me feel they were going to be spraying in the right places for the right creepy crawlies. The technician was at our house on time and was very quick and thorough (and friendly and professional). He also asked about the kind of bugs we were seeing. I would definitely recommend this company and use them in future.

Scott was punctual and courteous taking the time to explain process and details as well as some things I could do on my own to help ensure the right preventative measures we put in place.

I thought their work was good and the price was great.

I use them on a need basis and I am very happy with them. They try to keep the work outside of the home, so as not to have chemicals since it would bother the people at home. They try to work without interfering with the home owner by not leaving behind any chemical smell, since they do the work outside of the house. Currently, we are experiencing a seasonal cricket problem now. So, I am scheduling another appointment with them. I would recommend them.

They were very informative. They got the job done in about 30 minutes. They gave me a lot of insight and suggestions that I didn’t ask for and gave me a lot of good information. They were not pushy on trying to sell me on additional services.

When my husband contacted the company to schedule the appointment, they told him there would be extra costs for carpenter ants as opposed to regular ants. We did not feel like the description of the deal addressed that. We've decided to get a refund and find another exterminator.

We are happy with the service e received from Bella. Still have chiggers outside, but we knew they are hard to kill on a property of this size. Service went well, they arrived as promised, were very professional, courteous and educational.

I bought the Big Deal. Called ahead, arrived on time. Talked it through and they went right to work; one inside and one outside. I had bad water roaches, spiders and other nameless critters. It's been two days and the only bugs I've seen are dead ones! I'll be calling them again! Very courteous and efficient!
