Do not pay to use this service!  I paid for two months of service in advance on a 12 month contract.  Our lawn was supposed to mowed once a week, and over two months it was mowed only four times.  We still have three large bags of leaves and grass that were raked up the first time the lawn was moved.  I was told that they would come by with a flatbed to pick them up.  Never happened.  I was told that they would cut back/trim our shrubs.  Never happened.  I left five messaged after 5/4/2015 and never got a response from "Red" the owner.  Totally undependable and unresponsive.  There are plenty of alternatives out there; use one of them and avoid Austin Green Lawns.

They did good with mowing, trimming and edging.  But they did not do the fertilizing.

I would never let anyone, I knew ever use him.
He came to do lawn care.
He promised he would weed my garden, trim my bushes, keep my lawn up.
Keep my trees trimmed, mulch for me twice a year.
And the only thing he ever did was weed wack, and mow my lawn, which took about 15 minutes.
That's it, that is all he did.
I would walk around with him, and tell him things that I needed done.
He never would do it.
I prepaid him for an entire year.
And he did not keep his promises.
Even when he weed wacked, he would miss parts, and also killed one of my trees.
Also he never showed up, he sent others.

They never showed up. They would never commit to a specific date, but always promised to show up "this week", even though they never did.

I used them for several years with only minor problems with them showing up. When they showed up, they generally did good work. Last September I paid in advance for an entire year, and then they stopped showing up some time in early June. I've made phone calls to Dwayne, none of which have been returned.

Well they just stopped showing up. The service was pretty good up until then. The price was more than fair but then they just stopped coming. It would have been nice to know what happened. I tried calling but no one would ever call me back.

There is a reason this company is cheaper than all the others! They do not show up when they are supposed to and constantly change your day of service without telling you. If you call or email to complain, Dwayne will tell you what you want to hear and not follow through. They went 15 days without mowing our lawn and then left a huge mess of grass clippings when they finally did it. We only used this company for 3 months as their service and work was so awful.

First year service was good; last summer they became more unreliable and this year was worse. They seemed to miss at least 1 of every 3 weeks in terms of service, constantly changing our date of service including weekend afternoons. When I called to complain, there was no return of phone call or email. They just stopped showing up for more than 2 weeks. I let them know I needed to have lawn done in next 3 days (due to an outdoor party we were hosting) and still they didn't appear. We had to spend morning doing the yard ourselves. We have asked for a refund for missed service but no response. I highly caution people away from this company that cannot provide the service they promise.

The best thing I can say about Austin Green Lawns is they have very good prices. Now to get to their bad qualities, oh where to begin. They only trim the hedges when they feel like it, and I have called to complain, but they do not like to return phone calls as well. They also do not like to come on one consistent day, pretty much it is every week, just whatever day they feel like during that particular week.
