They started much later than originally expected but, once started, they finished quickly.

Overall it went very well. However, their Angie's List deal stated three rooms of paint with different colors, yet when he came here and we showed him the colors we wanted, he said we'd have to pay extra for multiple colors. I said that the deal was for three different colors, but he very nicely said that he was new to the deals. I didn't push it, since the day had just started and I wanted to make sure he (and his crew) weren't mad at me all day. They did the three rooms in one day, and we were very happy with the quality, professionalism, and work done.

I am rating them, however, I personally have not seen the work. we reside in Colorado and have listed our Texas home where the work was done. according to realtor, work was good and done in 2 days.

Gteat job. Two man spent two days to complete the job. I purchased the coupon and add upgrade on paint.

Did a superb job! We began getting bids of this house the very day we listed it! So pretty, we almost wanted to back in ourselves! Took the team Saturday and Sunday to complete. Fantastic!

There was an additional charge of about $202 and that had to do with some repairs that they did not consider to be part of their overall package. They actually did two days of work. I asked them for additional information regarding the paint that they chose to use because the deal says that they provide premium paint with their price and so I had to do some research to be comfortable that what they were choosing to use was premium and I do not think that you would put quite that term on it but the paint was good so I was happy with it. I have not had any issues with the painting that they have done so far and the warranty is on it.

Eventually it was great. The painters who came out took a long time to begin work. I called the company about it so they had a new crew come out that did a fantastic job.

They did a very good job. I am very pleased. I have hired them to come out this spring or early summer to do some exterior work for me. My only complaint is that some of my belongings were covered with overspray. Other than that I felt they were excellent.

The painting looks beautiful. It was thorough and professional. It was done very timely. I did have a conversation with the owner that I was very concerned because that evening, the weather depth below freezing and even if you use cold weather paints, I understand you're not supposed to use it when it's going to go below freezing so I did have some concerns and I discusses it with the owner. He assures me that he doesn't believe there will be any problem and if there is that he will work with me to take care of it into the future. My experience was outstanding in every way except that I did have question marks and concerns about the painting being done in very cold weather. I would have rather they haven't done the job in the cold weather. With the cold weather, it could have shortened the lifespan of the paint and any painter would know that. They were very punctual. The woodwork was done well.

It turned out okay. It took a little longer to get scheduled than we wanted. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They did a good job with the cleanup. They listened to what we wanted and they did it.

They showed up on time hand worked all day. The did an excellent job.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out pretty good. I really liked the crew; they were great. They came out and looked at it to make sure it would fit within the scope. They called almost immediately within 24 hours of us expressing interest in them. They made an appointment for their appraiser to come out and take a look at it and that was done within a week, and then they scheduled us to have it painted. Apparently doors were not in the big deal and I got nailed for the doors, and I was not happy about that. I do not think we had enough square feet to even meet the basics, because all they did was a trim. They charged me $75 extra for each door and they did four doors. I thought I should have painted them myself. So, I had to pay them $300 extra other than the big deal purchase. There were three guys who came out to do the work for me. Their quote included the paint and the quote stated they were going to use quality paint and they did. It looked pretty good in the end; they did a good job. Regarding my overall experience with them, the crew gets an "A," a little nip because the appraiser told me there were some screws missing in some of them, they are the little grated things that allow air in the socket and they were going to replace those and that did not happen. Of course, I did not bring it up either so I am partially at fault but I should not have had to ask it should be done. Regarding price, I was unhappy with the price of the doors because two of the doors have huge windows in them but beyond that it was fine. Their quality was good. I will use them next time, but I am not going to sleep next time and I am not going to let him charge me that for doors.

Sun Painting sent their team led by Olga and Oscar Ramos with 2 other painters. Olga serves as the communication and job coordinator as she speaks and understands English well. Oscar is polite and speaks some English, while the other 2 men did not interact with me. The 3 men who did the painting worked efficiently, hard, and fast. I had multiple rooms with drywall cracks from foundation problems and repair. After they finished, there is no sign there was any damage. They matched the texture as well as color of the wall. They painted multiple rooms for me and did a fantastic job. They use a good grade and correct type of Sherwin Williams professional paint, tape off well, and are not sloppy. Finally, they clean up after themselves. After 9-10 hours of painting in multiple rooms all over the house, I had little to no evidence they had been there.

Very professional and overall good work. We are very pleased with the end result, and plan on using them again in several months when we start our next project. The quality of the cabinet painting was very high, and the stain on both the kitchen island and stair railing looks like new (we were concerned that refinishing a previously stained surface wouldn't look good, but we we're very happy with the end result). There was a punch list of things that we needed to get fixed at the end of the project that I wish they had identified instead of having to be asked, but everything ended up being fixed to our satisfaction. Those items included: - Paint overspray on the floor tile between the cabinets and the refrigerator - They had drilled a hole for cabinet hardware on the wrong side of one of the cabinet doors, and the initial repair needed to be re-done (the final repair is visible if you look closely, but looks generally good) - One of the drawer pulls was off center by about an inch, and needed to be corrected (and the holes patched) - Some touch up work in a few spots where the stair rail lacquer needed to be filled in On a final note, because our baseboard paint was old and had yellowed a bit, they were unable to get a good match on color. As a result, the white baseboard paint they chose looked different from the other trim, and we ended up needing to paint most of the trim in the house to match (we had started with a smaller list of rooms and doors). They started in one room, and I was able to see that this would be the case early in the project, so it wasn't a surprise later when we added more rooms. However, in the future, I would recommend looking at the color matching before any painting starts, and deciding whether you're comfortable with painting most of the trim. Ultimately, we were happy that we ended up painting more, as it looks good.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I paid $600-$800 more. They missed some of the rotted wood so I had them come back out. We had a little bit of time delay on that but I worked with them on it. They replaced some of it and I realized they did not caulk like they were supposed to around the windows and stuff. I had to wait a good while and make several calls before I finally got them out to take care of that. Overall they were real accommodating. They were really nice people. I would definitely recommend them for painting and doing a nice job. They went the extra mile for me.

I was impressed with the level of the work people. They worked diligently all day and seem to have done an excellent job. I bought the Angie's List coupon for $1249. Very minor repair work added on brought the total for exterior painting to $1324. I also wanted a small area in utility room to be repaired and painted, and that added on another $205, bringing the total to $1529. I'd give them about an A minus re price, after add-ons were counted. They use Sherwin Williams A100 for exterior (guaranteed for 15 years by SW, I see on web), and SW promar 200 paint for interior. Sun Painting itself issues a three-year warranty for labor and material. Painting was delayed because of weather, which was not a problem. Their office clerk, Ann, was always very conscientious and easy to deal with. Also very good to deal with, their work crew, which was diligent and conscientious. I was surprised that repair work was added on, because it had been included in estimates from other companies--and was so minor, at least I thought so, and at least one other company had given very competitive rates, and for another interior painting task, for which I also got an estimate, had been about a hundred dollars less. But I still got good value. After I saw how diligent the workers were, I felt that I had done very well by choosing this company. Their diligent work crew and their courteous office clerk are the strong points of this company--with price somewhat second--and so far as I can tell (I am not a pro), the work quality also looked good. One thing I would change would be to allow the customer time to review the work before signing a release. When the crew left they handed me a form to sign, stating that I had reviewed the work and that it was acceptable. I would rather that the owner had come out to review the work before asking me to sign it, or given me time for more than a quick review of their work, or even time to ask a neighbor to inspect the work to see if it was all right. However, I gather that the work guarantee would cover any difficulties later noted. In summary, I feel everything went very fairly, and ended up being glad that I bought the coupon and that the work turned out so well.

I had an awful experience with them. It went on for a long time. I bought the big deal and when I purchased it, I had in mind doing some interior painting. I then wasn't sure, if I wanted to paint the interior, so I talked to them about painting the exterior. I have a brick house, so there isn't much exterior, we agreed to them painting the outside. The first 3 times, they cancelled, and then there was some discrepancy, and I talked to Autumn there, and somehow, we could not get onto the same page. Things happen, and so I was pretty calm about this thing. We get closer to the time when I was going to do the house warming, and this was in June, and so they promise me to get the house done. One scheduling was on a Saturday, and they couldn't come out because they had another job, and then they had me stay home on Sunday, and they cancelled that on me, when I had stayed home from church. This was before June. I was angry about that. They wanted to schedule again for a Sunday a couple weeks later, and I said I wouldn't do it on a Sunday. We got to the house warming day, and they said they would provide 2 painters for the day. When Autumn came out to talk about painting the outside, and what it was going to take, she said they wouldn't be able to do it in a day, and so I would have to pay another package. It would take them one day to pressure wash the house, and any sort of patching, and they would have to paint the next day. I couldn't understand because the house is 2200sq feet, and it is brick. They just needed to paint the trim, the chimney that was not brick, and the windows, and she said that was the way it had to be done. They didn't send two people, they sent one person, he came out that morning, he pressure washed, did whatever he had to do, and he didn't finish everything, and he had to come out the next day, which was the day of the house warming. In addition to that, they painted the house the wrong color. I had given them a paint chip, and she was going to take that to painting store to match the paint. I was supposed to pay for the paint, and they went with a lighter color. I called them back, and I told her that they were painting the house with the wrong color. She said that they would come back in the morning to finish it, and then they would paint the house in the right color at a later date. I wasn't around the whole month of October, and so they painted it in November. They painted the house, and did get it back to the color, and it looks much better. I had them paint the front and back doors, and I noticed that they had put just one coat on the door, but by now, I don't want to go back to them. I really resented that there was not way to do it, but with two guys, and then they sent one guy.

Excellent. I am extremely pleased. Not only did they do a great job, they cleaned up, put everything back where it belonged. They were great. I will use them again and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Crew of two did a reasonable good job overall. Crew arrived on time and worked entire day for three days to complete the job. Price paid was an Angie's List coupon plus the cost of minor repairs. Other than some communication issues they were a very hard working crew. Reason for B rating Painter tape left on front of house, All items removed from patio were not replaced on patio. Client not advised weather vain had gotten broken while painting was done. Don't believe crew broke vain but should have advised client of condition. All issues were minor

It went beautifully. This was a remote project, but I walked through the house virtually with the owner on his mobile phone. He crew were very polite, professional, punctual and attentive to detail. They were extremely conscious of how the project looked, and we talked a great deal as they were going from area to area. We made changes on the fly, and Ben, the lead on the crew, was very flexible and accommodating. This job involved extensively rejuvenating some very dated walls and wallpapers, and Sun did a wonderful job. I had others walk through the work site and Sun Painting was careful in taping off areas and working around fine edges as well. I would absolutely use them again.

They arrived on time everyday and painted the entryway to our house (which is very tall), our kitchen and dining room as well as our living room. The quality of the job was top notch. The guys really knew what they were doing and it showed. It only took them 3 and a half days to finish, which is exactly what was told to us at the beginning of the job. They were efficient and did not leave a mess when they were done. That's happened before with other painters and is very irritating. Thank you for giving us, what feels like, a brand new home!

The boss came over and he looked at the three rooms I wanted painted. He gave us a little deal on the estimate for spray painting but they never brought a spray can. They just had the rollers and we ended up using more paint. We ended up buying about 6 gallons more and he never would bring the spray gun. He brought some other people with him so he had to pay them, which made it more than $99. It took them about two days. He did all the rooms we wanted but when he started bringing in more people it ends up costing more. They did a good job, but it ended up costing more. I think it was too much for two days.

Excellent. Ann is a great contact at the office. Jose' and his assistants were prompt, professional, neat, and did en extremely good job.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and I had a good experience with them. The big deal was for $75, but there were additional charges because I had them do some extra things. They were just prompt and did a good job. They were very good.
