The price was competitive and fair. Dario was the crew leader. The quality of the work was excellent. Owner and crew were punctual and professional in all appointments. I will definitely use them again.

The General Manager of Sun Painting, Mark Brozio, came to our house to give me an estimate. He answered all my questions about the standard procedures, the types and brands of paint and all services that would be performed. His bid was considerably lower than the 3 other estimates that I got. I scheduled the job but then had to postpone it because we had some exterior repair work to finish. I called the office and Ann and Teddi were most understanding, friendly and helpful. When the carpentry was done, they scheduled the job in a timely fashion. The painting crew was at our house promptly at the appointed time of 8:00 AM. They started working immediately by pressure washing the entire house. As soon as that was done they began the formidable task of scraping several layers of paint and old caulk off in the August heat. The men worked quickly and thoroughly. They all worked diligently and consistently w/out banter or complaint. They took a morning break, a noon lunch break and an afternoon break. We never saw anyone slacking off. This was the case all 6 days that they worked for us. The scraping took a couple of days. Then the house was rewashed to remove dust and dirt before priming. The house was carefully masked to prevent any over-spray. Both the primer and the paint were sprayed on and brushed into the surface. After the first coat of primer, the men checked for any additional peeling and then they started caulking. They filled in every nook and cranny! Then they touched up the primer coat. Jose and his crew worked through the weekend. On Saturday the trim color was applied. Sunday, the siding was done and on Monday the window glazing was finished and the accent window painting was completed. We could not be more pleased w/ our house now. All our friends and neighbors have been effusive in their praise for the quality of the work. The improvement has been dramatic. Our little bungalow will be 100 years old next year. Now it looks almost new! I must reiterate my compliments to Jose and his crew. They worked so hard and did such a beautiful job - all the while maintaining a great attitude. They all were friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them and their work!

Job did not finish on time. Went weeks behind schedule. Communication problem with painters due to language barrier. Supervisor not on jobsite in timely manner. Called Sun Painting to let them know of communication problems, tardiness issues, sloppy painting issues and lack of coordination in planning on when and how to paint each room. Painters ruined existing carpet by spilling paint on carpet and footprints of paint of carpet. Left work areas trashy on a consistent basis. Had to have the re do painting of trim, book shelves, some doors and few other areas due to incomplete work and /or not painting these areas adequately. All in all they did a terrible job. There were 2 areas where they did excellent work and were told so numerous times and that was the area of repairing stress crack in living room and sealing stains on ceiling of living room. Other than that the work was only semi fair to down right terrible. The lead painter did not keep his work schedule as promised day after day or week after week. Also did not seem focused on the task at hand. Did not supervise his helper well. He lacked professionalism and did not seem to take his craft seriously. Nor did he seem to take the job seriously. Even after a few limited visits from his supervisor things nor attitudes improved. His immediate supervisor would assure us that all items we were addressing would be taken care of and corrected, but that did not happen on any consistent basis. After painters announced they were completed with job we contacted their supervisor who agreed with us that they indeed were not completed. After a few days delay they returned to complete the job. At a later date I discovered while returning items to closets, etc. that they did not paint a few of the shelves in one of the bedroom closets, as well as, a few areas in a hall closet. By this time I was to disgusted with the company to even call back for them to return. And by this time we had new carpet and hard flooring installed and did not want to take a chance they would get paint on them. We stayed in a hotel while the work was being done which was only to be for 3-4 days but due to them not finishing on time we ended up having to stay a week. The owner while on a visit to our home to discuss our complaints and receive final payment did compensate us the a couple of days stay which was fair, but what amazed us after seeing all the paint on the carpeted areas and hard flooring areas did not even apologize for the mess we were left with. Although we intended to get new carpet several months on down the road we ended up having to do so almost immediately. So a job that we were told would only take 4-5 days ended up taking weeks and we ended up having to replace our carpet much sooner than anticipated. All in all we would never hire Sun Painting again and would never recommend them in any capacity. Overall they only rate a D minus minus minus to a F.

I had it refunded due to conflicting times of scheduling on both our end. The provider was very pleasant and agreeable. I'd use them in the future if I needed to.

The agent was very punctual and polite. However, due to some snags in my siding - we decided it be best if I pursued a siding company first rather than have it painted. I appreciate the honest feedback from Sun.

Mark came out and gave us an estimate of the total job. He was right on time and I was pleased with his knowledge and expertise. He made suggestions on how to pick the colors and explained how the overall process worked. They used Sherwin-Williams A100 paint (included in the price, which also includes two colors). We went to Sherwin-Williams and picked out our colors so we knew the colors would be exactly what we wanted. The painters(two) arrived right on time, and while one started preparing the house, the other took our paint cards to get the paint. Both men worked hard and steady all day and it was evident that they knew what they were doing. The foreman, Dareo, had been painting houses for 10 years. The house looks very good and both my wife and I are pleased with the job. I would definitely use Sun Painting Texas again in the future.

In general I felt Sun Painting was a great choice. The meeting for the estimate and conversation about what we needed was professional and informative. The work has been done for a month and so far there has been no peeling or flaking. The job was well done and has remained nice since its completion. The only issue I had was with scheduling. It was not the fault of the company that rain made them delay the job a week or so, but the first time they set up the appointment to come and start work the team did not show up on the expected day at the expected time. Since I had stayed home from work to meet them, and did not find out until an hour and half after they were scheduled to arrive that they would not be coming that day, it did create an inconvenience for me. The office lady told me when she called that the team had only communicated to her that they had not been able to finish the job they had over the weekend until just then. The office portion of the business does have very limited hours( 8 am-1 pm Monday- Friday) but I would wish that if you are going to have teams out working on the weekend, they would have a way to communicate if they are unable to finish and will not be able to start work on Monday at the next place. However, overall, that scheduling hiccup did not change my impression that this was a quality business and I am happy with the work done and to have done business with them.

They were great! This is the second time I've used them, and they do a great job. We paid a bit more for some additional places we needed touched up, and that additional price was fair. They did the work very quickly (in one day), as some bad weather was rolling in. The end result looks great -- I was extremely pleased. The project manager was excellent -- we'd recommend him!

I purchased an Angieslist deal for exterior house painting for 1299.00. I had to pay an additional fee for some repairs. I also had to hire another company to do repairs that Sun could not do. I picked out paint colors at Sherwin Williams and gave them to the Sun representative who matched the colors, but used another, I suspect less expensive, brand. I really had to keep on top of the team from Sun to make sure they were properly prepping the wood siding and painting trim the correct color. Though the house looks far better than it did before, paint was peeling from siding and chipping off doors within two weeks. If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra money to have the job done more thoroughly by another painter.

Company could not start painting until August 20th, I needed a painter that could start on August 1st.

We had can light fixtures installed in our kitchen so there was extensive tape work needed. We wanted to paint the rooms with a new color so that was done also. I had them paint all the baseboards in the house as they were starting to show wear and tear. There was some water damage on one of our eaves that was also repaired. They did excellent work, showed up on time for the 3 days they were here and cleaned up everything when done. I will use them again.

It was a two man crew and it took them three days to do the work. They did a pretty good job overall.

My experience with them was very good. They did a beautiful job. Scheduling the appointment was good, they were prompt and timely. I felt it was a great deal for what they did.

I called the company first to get an estimate without the coupon and it was roughly $1,900 (without the extra repairs), so I had purchased the coupon to get the better deal. The only difference was one coat instead of two. They had to write up a new deal due to the coupon which was delivered yesterday. Then my husband's contractor stated that he had a cancellation and was able to do it instead and they offered a better deal. They owe my husband a few favors so I just decided to go with them. Did not set up a date to start with Sun painting.

Very pleased with Sun Painting. Sales Rep Marc Brozio was very professional and efficient. Quote was given right away. (Had 3 shopped with three other painting businesses and all took 3+days to provide quotes). Painters were also very professional and efficient. They showed precisely each morning and cleaned up each afternoon. Had several boards replaced and patches on stucco. The stucco work looked so-so when done, but very pleased with the wood work and exterior paint. Very pleasant and professional crew. It is worth noting that the office staff are also very pleasant to work with!

They did a really good job in the past. I did not feel I had the same experience this time. The cabinets did not turn out well and the communication was not as good. They said they would come back and touch up some of the spots but still haven't come back to do that.

Sun Painting proved to be an excellent choice for painting the exterior of our house. They were highly rated by Angie’s List and I now see why. From my first contact with them through the website and then over the phone they were professional and courteous. A time was arranged for Mark to estimate the job. We included a shed and also had some painting above a carport that required scaffolding. Mark explained the charges and the process. The extra charges were reasonable so we scheduled a date for the painting. Sun Painting called to confirm that we were ready. A crew of four were at our home at 8:00 AM and began the preparation work. They finished the painting by the next day and the foreman returned the following day to touch up the paint all around the house. This included another coat of paint brushed on the front door. I was very pleased with the job. I would highly recommend Sun Painting.

We hired Sun painting to paint the exterior of our 2 story house. They powerwashed the house, replaced rooted wood, and painted in a 2 day period. The painters were punctual, hard working,courteous, and did a great job. The house looks awesome! We will definitely use Sun Painting again in the future.

With the exception of a taping issue in the master bedroom everything went well. They were punctual and professional. They were good guys to work with. They did send a crew that was not staffed properly for the work so I did have to postpone a vacation a little but overall I think highly of the quality of work they provided and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Sun Painting did our exterior two years ago and interior a few months ago. They do a really good job for the price. The Angie's List discount saved us a lot. Mark and the office staff are great to work with. We were very comfortable with their painters in our home for a few days. We were very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone!

They came out and quoted for the job I needed. The estimate was very high. I just decided to request a refund.

The painters did a beautiful job. The preparation took longer than the actual painting. They cleaned up everything before they left. I could not have asked for a better job. I would use them again. They are popular so you have to wait about 3 weeks but it is worth it.
