Went very well. ; Their work is meticulous. They offered creative solutions regarding drainage and relocation of the fence that had to be moved to make way for the new wall. We also used them in the year 2000 to replace a retaining wall at our previous residence.

In June, I researched Angies List for companies that could replace an aging and rotting railroad tie retaining wall in our back yard along a creek. I contacted the three highest rated companies from Angies List that were located in the Hurst, TX area and received estimates from all three. Adams Structural was the only company of the three that works with railroad ties. The other two quoted stone walls. The Adams Structural quote was 30 to 40% lower than the others, while using PREMIUM ties. For price and asthetic reasons, we decided to stay with a wood retaining wall and upgrade to higher quality railroad ties. This job was not easy, as it required working on a hill side underneath an existing 20 x 25 ft wood deck and under an 8 x 12 ft wooden shed that was supported on stacked cinder blocks and loaded with yard equipment. Marcus (the engineer) and his team of Rubio (the lead worker), Armando and Victor, did an amazing job of removing the old rotten ties and replacing them with new ties that are much larger and much better quality than the old ties ever were. Rubio and his team worked very hard to carefully support the wood deck and the wooden shed with temporary foundations while ripping out and replacing the old ties. They also went out of their way to be careful not to damage landscaping plants in the area of the project. They also created new water flow pathways on both sides of our property to protect the new retaining wall from Texas "gulley washer" rain flow that destroyed the old wall. The entire project went smoothly and was completed in one week. I highly recommend Marcus and his team for replacing railroad tie retaining walls with new high quality PREMIUM ties. I was told that Adams Structural also does stone retaining walls.

They didnt do any work. I didnt choose them because of the price.

He is a very ethical and a responsive contractor which is often difficult to find.

I recently decided to use them to do the work so they will probably start next week. They have done previous work for some friends in the neighborhood and I like their work so decided to use them. I will use them again in the future.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. They came out and gave us an estimate and handled all our permits. They worked with our civil engineer and did great clean up work. They did a 18 X 19 foot retaining wall. They provided us a detailed budget and they didn't really deviate from that budget. We didn't even know they were here most of the time. They came in worked and did a great clean up job.

From start to finish the process went extremely well. We called out two companies and we chose Adams Structural because they seemed honest and straight forward. They gave us 3 options and explained everything clearly. It didn't hurt that they had done nice work for our neighbor's who highly recommended them. From their young salesman to their hardworking crew we could not have asked for better service. Marcus and Rubio make a great team and they kept us in the loop through the whole process. Anyone looking for a new retaining wall should call these guys.
