Found Mike Dobbins on HA and I was very pleased with the value of his high quality workmanship and reasonable pricing. He is also a very personable guy and a pleasure to work with.

Great community spirit and helpful information

First, Mike called within minutes of my placing the request on Home Advisor. He was professional, courteous and responsive. He asked for a detailed description over the phone of the work to be done (installing a ceiling fan/light and replacing a couple of old over-heads.) Even though I had told him that we were going to get two other quotes before deciding, he was very generous in the information he gave about the various ways to do the job. Based on my answers to his thorough questions, he gave me an approximate quote right then. As it turned out, Mike's quote was just about exactly the same as the two other providers, so we decided to go with Mike because he was the first one who responded to us. And when the work was done, Mike charged us the lower figure of the quote range. Mike was prompt, arriving when he said he would. He was knowledgeable and meticulous in completing the work. He explained a few things to my husband that made it much easier and faster for my husband to do the necessary patch work. We are relatively new to the area, and feel very fortunate that we've now found an excellent electrician.

Mike Dobbins did the electrical work on my newly installed boiler/furnace. This was the first time he has serviced my home and I found him to be very capable and thorough. He was easy to work with & kept great communication with me betw our initial phonecall and the appt. The town inspector visited today and he commented on the nice neat job Mike did on our furnace. I will call Mike Dobbins again for future work and I certainly recommend him.

We heard sparking in the wall. Found Dobbins Electric on Home Advisor and called. Mike dropped everything he was doing and came right over to fix the problem. Then he and Casey upgraded our panel. Another great job. Casey also came over and installed recessed lighting in the kitchen. AWESOME!! Next we will have them install some outside lighting. Great guys, always on time (can you believe it!) My husband and I highly recommend Dobbins Electric.

Mike is an excellent electrical troubleshooter. i was having a problem with a circuit breaker that wouldn't reset.(so was doing its job). Mike traced it to an outside outlet that was installed by the previous owner and was not up to code. Mike corrected the problem quickly for a fair price. I the discussed with Mike a project i had been considering, upgrading the main circuit breaker box,and running a dedicated circuit for a few more energy greedy items in the house.(freezer,my computer station,also some heat tape on the pipes under my house.Mike came back with a fair estimate for the amount of work needed.Mike did a great job and i decided to add another job on and Mike came thru adding on an extra day to the job to put in some outside electrical outlets for me. Mike and his assistant did an excellent job. worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves.Totally happy with the work they did. I now have a electrician that i will be using for many years to come (although not too soon please). Highly recommend Mike for any electrical needs you may have. Great job Mike thank you

Mike was great. He called immediately and showed up on time for both the estimate and to do the job. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. Mike was very honest in his pricing and didn't try to tell me I needed something that I really didn't need. I highly recommend him and plan on having him do more work in the near future.

I've have been searching for a reliable electrican to complete a job at our home. Not knowing any electricians and afraid of getting the wrong person I took a shot at HomeAdvisor to see what I could find. Dobbins Electric looked to have a good profile. I selected and sent along an email. To my suprise he answered me w/i 2 hours. We talked about job and he set a time to come out to look at what we were faced with.
