Went very good and fast – moved chair hatch table & 6 chairs, bedroom sent.

The team was very prepared, friendly and efficient. They arrived right on time and took care in loading and unloading all the furniture. I was very pleased with the job they did.

Great service. I called the morning of the move, because another company, stood me up. They arrived at my house within an hour. All of the men morning use were extremely professional and polite. They took great care of our things and worked hard without stopping and got us moved.

Wonderful! They were quick to answer my request on the phone and schedule a time when I could meet with them to give me an estimate. They provided materials ahead of time so I could pack things I particularly wanted to pack, were prompt and professional and courteous on arrival to my home to pack. They packed my kitchen and dining room and then loaded things for the move the next day. The next day they finished loading up the things left, and drove to my new home and unloaded. The cost was actually less than the estimate and very fair. The three med who provided the service were pleasant, courteous, professional and did a great job packing! I would definitely use them again though I hope I can stay put a while!

The moving crew arrived on time, worked in a professional & courteous manner, completed the move with no damages. An excellent job.

They were actually able to come one day early which helped me tremendously. They were very courteous and hard working. They made moving so easy for me and less stressful.

The movers were on-time. They called before they arrived (approximately 15-20 minutes) to let us know they were on their way. All of the men were friendly and professional. They took great care of our furniture and belongings. We highly recommend East Tennessee Movers!

The movers were on time, polite & worked hard. Much of the furniture had to be carried down 28 stairs, they did it without complaint. All went well!

East Tennessee movers were picked to pack up our belongings and move them to a storage bin in preparation for a long distance move. On the POSITIVE side: They wrapped old books, some of them from childhood, to make sure they arrived in good condition. We are still unpacking, but none of the dishes are broken. I?m glad my grandmother?s dishes arrived safely. We have unpacked the pictures yet. The guy , from the second group, who put our items into the storage unit gets an A+. He?s the bright spot of this move. He was able to move things around and put all of our items into a single car garage-sized storage unit. We thought we might need a second unit, but we didn?t. NEGATIVE: I?d say they did an INCOMPLETE job: The first movers didn't pack up everything well in the storage bin. The second group of movers had to spend time moving the boxes around to make room for the second group of boxes. The second group didn?t pack everything up in the house. Before they left, I caught that they didn?t pack up the broom closet. After leaving, I noticed that they didn?t pack up a number of shelving units in the cupboards. I asked them to label everything, just as I had the movers who packed us to move to Tennessee. There were a lot of guys who came to pack us up, so we went into the sunroom to be out of their way. When I came back later, I found that they had labeled the boxes on TOP of the box! That doesn?t do us any good?when the boxes are stacked, you can?t tell what room the shipper should put them in, or what is in them. The mover said ?that?s a beginner?s mistake.? The last guys that packed us wrote the info on the side. Instead of using shrink wrap, they used tape. They taped shut items like stained glass and porcelain personal items (like jewelry boxes). It?s hard to remove the tape residue. I still have some on my salt and pepper shakers and coasters (the coasters stick to the glasses now). I explained that I had several sets of dishes and pots. I explained that they shouldn?t be mixed up. They still mixed some of them up, and I had to toss them out. I can?t use them. The day of loading the moving van: We bought a house out of state. We returned to Johnson City to meet the moving truck driver so he could get into the storage bin and load up the truck. We thought it would take only a few hours, because we thought East TN movers had packed everything up. However, it took all day because the moving truck driver had to pack more of the items. We had to pay for a day of packing up by the van driver's crew!They didn?t pack some things like wine glasses that were put in the storage bin. A lamp with a glass top wasn?t boxed up. Some things were packed improperly, and had to be repacked. The mover had to repack my $400 Kitchenaid mixer. East Tennessee movers did a horrible job with the mixer! The box wasn?t big enough, and the top of the box was bulging. The mover put the mixer into a bigger box. If he hadn?t, the mixer would have been crushed. The moving van driver said that if this had been a local move, it might have been ok. But we were very clear to the person setting up the packing and to the packers that this was a long distance move. We are very glad that we didn?t pick them for the long distance move (and they were double the price of the mover we picked--$22,000 to move to California. I realize that resources are very limited in the Tri Cities, and this is may be one of the better movers. But I wouldn?t use them for long distance, and I hope people pick up some tips on how to make their move better. I will add pictures after the review is posted; it won't let me do it now. We got a request from the second group to put a comment on Angies List, which is why i am doing it now. I don't think that contacting East Tennessee Movers would help, unless would pay for the moving costs of the moving van mover to be doing the repacking! They didn't follow up with us after the second move, which is where we had found all the problems

On time. Courteous. Efficient. Steady workers.

The workers were on time and courteous, and respectful. They moved all items and put in their truck. They unloaded items to put in the new apartment. They took items apart to put in truck and put items back together in new apartment.

Dustin, Shawn and Maylo arrived on time and provided help in preparation for our move. All three were courteous, professional and fun to work with. We don?t know how we would have been able to do so much by ourselves. They were a godsend. We are looking forward to working with them again when moving day rolls around. Our new home, a condo still under construction, has been delayed. The builder had estimated completion on May 1. But they aren?t going to make it. Every time we ask about a closing date, they "don?t know.? This makes it hard to plan ahead. Again, we were very pleased with our workers, and hope to work with them again. They deserve a raise!

The young men were on time, friendly, polite, and careful with my things. Nothing was broke. They even re-positioned my furniture and piano for me, without complaints.

They were able to start a day early. We had a show and they were very careful to keep the house neat, then, at the new house, they were very helpful to arrange things I wanted there.

The moving team consisting of three young men, professionally dressed, arrived on time. They called beforehand to advise that they were on their way. The truck was in very good shape and clean inside with a large stack of packing covers and the necessary equipment for moving large items. The movers began promptly by surveying the house, and deciding the best way to proceed with the move. Since we had items going in many different directions the movers had a check list for each location to make sure all items were accounted for. The young men worked efficiently and with a pleasant and happy attitude. Items ranged from a piano to smaller tables and chairs. As items were loaded on the truck, they were covered and secured. We were advised that during the lunch break, we would not be charged any time. All the moves went smoothly and efficiently. The movers were very careful with our items and we had no damage. We were very pleased with the East Tennessee Movers. From our first experience in the office as we were discussing the details of the move (exactly as we were told...no surprises with pricing) to the follow-up call after the move to make sure we were satisfied. Based upon our experience, we would highly recommend East Tennessee Movers.

Great experience. From the first day we called the office to inquire about service, to the time where we had questions and chose them, and then, the day of the move, it went perfect. The movers showed up exactly when they said they would, handled our belongings with care and were friendly and professional. If and when we move again, we'll chose them again without hesitation.

Matthew & John were the two men who worked with me to handle a tough task, to empty my mother's home now that she is living in an assisted care facility. They were on time, very courteous and personable. I enjoyed working with them. This was the second time I had used their services an I would again should the need arise. A special thanks to Matthew and John.

The move went great. The guys were great to work with and went out of their way to assure me that things would be fine. They were very knowledgeable and careful in what they were doing. They took extreme caution with our possessions and made us feel more at ease in a very stressful time. Our workers were Shawn, Michael, Dustin, and DJ and they were fun and fantastic to work with. Dean, the owner, even pitched in and help and that was tremendous as well. In fact, the company bent over backwards to make sure everything worked out for our move and we greatly appreciate what they did! I would definitely use East Tennessee Movers again.

The five personnel moved quickly and carefully. Their personnel are cheerful and have a "can do" attitude. Only one piece of furniture had a small chip. This outfit is tops in their field.

The crew was excellent, polite, professional and conscientious. There was some confusion with the way the pricing was conveyed, but a crew member called the office and they worked with me a bit.
