They killed my beautiful backyard with the recent weed and feed. They took my hard work that I did last fall seeding and growing beautiful grass and with one treatment took out my backyard. These guys don’t care about your yard. Beware!!

Its great! We have been very happy with their services so far. They are friendly and punctual and I would highly recommend them.

I could find no evidence of grass seed in the yard and no plugs or evidence of aeration, however I was billed over $700 for the service. I fired them and hired a different vendor I am very happy with.

The company provided scheduled services for lawn, fertilizer and shrub care. I emphasized that I only wanted organic products to be used on my lawn; I refused the weed control because of the chemicals. I was told they did have an organic lawn care but it takes a long time to deter the weeds, if at all. I told them I did not mind the weeds. I do care about the environment. I had to go over my treatment applications last year as this has happened once before. Today I was home and inquired about the service. I was told it was for weed control. I told him I do not get weed control. He informed his office who stopped all services. I was told the services were conflicting and that the company would contact me about why I discontinued the applications. I called the main customer service, who did not have a record of the service suspension. I was told the last weed control was last done in August. She sent a request for a manager to contact me and placed all my services on hold for a year. I replied I do not want their services because Trugreen can not be trusted to provide services requested. I was told that the manager will review this information and get back to me in 48 hours. I told her this was not acceptable but she said this would give the main office a chance to pull my records. I have given this company numerous opportunities and when the manager calls I will tell him why and ask what will be done with the monies I have spent on applications that were not suppose to be given.

Terrible management, they pretend that you are important, they promise both service and quality, and neither is true! One tech spends two hours here servicing, the next 45 minutes, manager after manager called or came out promising better service and results. They stated that they were in a pickle because they purchased Scott's clients, but they never came through! They are 100% rip-off, the weeds and bugs came back time after time. The same thing happened last season, I fired them only to have the branch manager and field manager promise me that I was important, and they would come through, well they did not. They also lied as to how much the service would cost based on the agreed coverage area. I have now filed a claim against them for a 100% refund, as they claim they stand behind 100% satisfaction. Seriously, purchase these products from the hardware store and do it yourself, it is not hard, and you will actually get proven results. TruGreen is a complete and utter mess, mismanaged, understaffed and just big fat liars. They do not care to respond to your service issues. I have pages of texts and emails from managers that I will be sharing and posting on every single consumer forum, until I get a 100% refund, depending on how much energy I want to spend to forewarn future potential customers. Run Forrest, run! By contesting and reversing the VISA charge and whereas credit card companies fight for you, the TruGreen managers manager called me yesterday and stated social media platforms like this are not important and most users are liars, however, we together and like the 100's if not 1,000's of similar posts that can be found by searching, the people are speaking and what we are collectively sharing is our experiences and truths, buyer beware, THEY DO NOT CARE! Bottom Line: I WOULD NOT recommend TruGreen to a friend, ONLY an enemy!!!

Great, it is not cheap but it is worth it to not have to do all the work ourselves. We figure in the long run it will be cheaper - and someone else does the work1

Terrible. too many problems to list, they gave a partial refund but what I want is the service promised. Does anyone have an alternative company they love? My neighbors all use Trugreen and many very unhappy and looking to replace.

I gave Trugreen the benefit of the doubt for way too long. I hired them to manage my yard but found that I had to manage them and constantly call them because nothing ever looked good. The excuses I was given were always weather related or water related or had nothing to do with what they were or were not doing. I did every service they recommended including extra cost services and expensive overseeding and aeration. It would look good for a month or two and then plummet. I truly believe that Trugreen has become so large, especially with the acquisition of Scott's Lawn service that they cannot keep up with employees that know what they are doing. They load chemicals on trucks and tell them to go put it on the yards. I spoke to a Trugreen tech that was doing one of my neighbors yards and told him how disappointed I was and his response was that he hears that all the time and he didn't blame me and that many of the techs are looking for jobs elsewhere because the company has gotten so bad. That spoke volumes and was the deciding factor to switch. I couldn't be happier with the new company I have chosen (Advanced Lawn Solutions). Cannot begin to tell you the amount of weeds and bad grass that was killed with just one application. I will spend a large bit of money seeding my yard to get it back but I feel confident that it will once and for all look great and I will hopefully not have to manage it myself ever again.

We have them on a yearly plan.  They do a good job.  We've had them for about three or four years.  They do what they say they're gonna do and if it's not right they'll try to make it right.  We've been pleased with them.  They're not the cheapest.  When they say they're coming, they come. They don't really give you a time. 

They're doing fine. They didn't do nothing no different than other lawn service companies that I've had.? They were here on time and the tech knocks on the door to talk to me, you know, what he did, and what he's seen, and it was for that reason.? He just didn't come in and spray some chemicals on my yard and leave. I didn't call them; I was scheduled for that service. They call me 24 hours in advance of them coming out.? The times that they gave me they would be here, they were on time.? They did good.

I've been satisfied with it. They still do work for me. They come about once a month from February through October or November, something like that. They've been out two times this year, or three times, I guess. I'm very happy with them. I'd tell my friends and family that I'm very happy with their service.

We'd call in to complain about our bare spots to get a supervisor to come out to look at the lawn, but no one ever came. Ultimately, we were dissatisfied.

They should work a little more on the responsiveness. The workers were nice and good. They notify and give details about what they are going to do through emails .

I still see some weeds and some stuff on my lawn. I would use them in the future. They treat me good. They are professional just the way they dress. I really don't interact with them. They just usually come out. They just perform their job. It's the first one I found.

They continually screw things up, like, I paid for my service a year in advance and for my first service this spring, they forgot me. I have a neighbor up the street who uses them too, and they came and did their service. So when I called they gave me a lime treatment because they missed me. If I did not catch it, it would just be my bad luck. It seems like they are more interested in getting new customers than they are about maintaining their existing customers. I am not sure I am going to keep them next year. When they come and do my service they always leave an invoice. I don't think they have the customer focus they should have. They give you a five percent discount if you pay it all up front. I think their price is pretty darn expensive. I think they try to be professional. I think the people are professional. I just had one incident with one guy that showed up one time. I have a gate that is not locked or anything and he said he could not get in the gate.    I have never had anybody have trouble getting that gate open. I think that he was running late in finishing his route. I think he used it as an excuse.

I moved into a foreclosure that had a lot of weeds in the yard.  A Scott's salesperson stopped by our house and gave us a treatment recommendation and a price.  We were told due to the number of weeds it would take two applications before we noticed a difference.  After a year of treatments our yard looks even worse.  Dandelions and clover everywhere.  We did call to complain to Scotts and was told "wait for another treatment".  They claim they have a guarantee however they always suggest paying for another treatment never offering a free service. I feel like I wasted my money.  Scotts has been fired.
