Dale Insulation

It didn't go well. The sale person gave us a quote, we signed the contract and set up a day for the installers to arrive. They didn't show up at all. We called the sales person and he said he would reschedule it for another day and call us back. The next day, without notice and very early in the morning, the installers showed up and ready to do the job. From this experience, it is obvious to me that the front end of the business isn't communicating well with the back end of the business. They were competitive on price, but lacking in on-time service.

The estimator for Dale was prompt in responding to our inquiry and came out to the house promptly.  They gave us a very competitive quote.  We scheduled the work to be done through the Estimator for Monday, June 5th  The Friday before, I received an email from our contact person stating that we were confirmed for Monday, but we wouldn't be given a time to expect the installer until Monday morning when the schedule was drawn. That sounded a bit strange, but it wasn't an inconvenience so we went with it.
By 11 am Monday, we had not received a call giving us an installation time so I called the Estimator.  He was surprised we had not been contacted and said he'd call me back.  I told him we were on a very tight time schedule with numerous contractors lined up to do work and we only had Tuesday as a window for the work to be done.  He said he'd get back to me promptly. By 4 pm that day, I'd not heard back from our contact so I called and left a message.
Tuesday morning the Estimator called me at 8 am and said the truck was waiting at our new house and could I open up the house for them.  Fortunately for the installers, our new house was only a 10 minute drive away so I went rushing to the house to let them in.
The work was performed to our satisfaction, but the communication and responsiveness of the company was greatly lacking.  Maybe our small job wasn't big enough to be of  concern, or possibly they had some carryover work from the week before.  I would only ask that they keep the customer informed about what the problems were so we would know what to expect and try to work with them. The work was fine but customer service was not good at all.

They were easy to work with and I felt they did a good job for the price. We were pleased with their work and promptness.
