Coit Cleaning and Restoration Services

I have used Coit several times and they have always been very responsive and professional. They picked up the rugs and gave me a time to be returned. Although due to family emergency there was no one home to accept the rugs at the originally scheduled delivery date. Coit was very good at making allowances and holding the rugs until we were available to havethem delivered.

There had been a mixup in the scheduling of our previous appointment. The owner (I believe) called to see what could be done to rectify the problem. This was very nice of them and showed true concern for the customer's satisfaction. The appointment was rescheduled. We received a call the morning of the service advising us the service tech would be at our home between 1:00 and 3:00. He arrived exactly at 2:00. The service tech was very courteous, professional, and efficient, and worked non-stop for an hour and 45 minutes. We are very impressed with this service and would use it again and recommend it to others, as well.

Coit Services our experience was good. It was good service they came out they gave an estimate. Then they picked up the rugs when they said they were going to. It took the amount of time they said it was going to. They made the arrangements for delivery that were convenient to us. Delivered the rugs. The quality of the cleaning was better than expected.

They came on time. They provided me a good job. They do what they're gonna do. They've charged me a very reasonable price. Overall they did a good job.

The scheduler was extremely nice and they were able to schedule on the dates I wanted (I also scheduled for my daughter's house but cancelled because of the lousy job at my house). The tech was on time and very courteous. However, after he left and the carpets dried, it was the worse job EVER. An area rug was left with the edges still dirty but the main problem was one bedroom. It has 3 spots into the room where the machine had been used and the rest of the room was untouched. There is literally 3 places where you can see very clear where the machine was used. Those 3 spots look good but the rest of the room was not cleaned. I was so upset as I had family coming to visit. When I called to cancel the service on my daughter's house and told the secretary how bad it was, she stated they would have him come back. I did not want this as it is a lot of working getting the rooms ready and then waiting for them to clean and put everything back. I believe a company should stand behind their work and do it right the first time. I shouldn't be inconvenienced because they didn't stand behind their word. The price was $199.00 with a 40% discount. Stanley Steemer's price is originally 232.00 with no discount. I was very disappointed and would never use them again.

Coit's services were outstanding. Prompt, professional and exceptionally clean. We have used other major carpet services, none Came close to the quality of Coit's service. Even my steps from the garage which have never been clean (8 years) since we built our house were cleaned like new. Carpets that had puckered due to too much solvent use by previous companies were repaired like new. I will use them again in 6-8 Monty's for routine maintenance.

We decided to go with a more local company. They gave us a coupon so it was a very good estimate. They gave us a 2 hour window and he showed up the last 5 minutes of the 2 hour window which was a little unnerving and kind of an unpleasant thing. He was very straightforward with what to expect and he was not the one who would be doing the cleaning. He was just the estimator. They threw in the rug stretching for free which was a nice gesture. He said there were certain stains they wouldn't be able to get out so he was kind of setting us up for disappointment which was both a positive and negative thing.

It was great, there was no bad. They were very professional and they cleaned it very well. It was a very large rug. They took it, cleaned it and brought it back. They did a great job.

They came on time, was very courteous and professional, finished the whole house in a timely manner! The pet smell is gone and the carpets look great....if you want things moved you need to do it prior to them getting there otherwise they will clean around things. My husband did follow him around and ensure heavy items were cleaned under.

We scheduled a carpet cleaning with Coit for a Saturday morning (bonus points to them for working on Saturday for the regular rate). They gave us a window of 10am-11am to arrive . They arrived promptly at 10am. By 11:15am, they were all done shampooing and scotch-garding all of the rooms in our vacant house. The gentlemen were extremely polite and respectful of our home. They offered to stretch the carpet in one of our rooms for free because there was a lump, but upon further examination and upon recommendation of the technician, it would have caused problems with the vent in the floor, so we declined. They did try to upsell us on vent cleaning at a discounted rate, but we declined and they were polite and offered us the same discounted rate as a repeat customer if we called them back at a later date. I was very pleased with Coit. They were polite and punctual, and the carpets look fantastic after their cleaning. I will not hesitate to use Coit again.

Carpet cleaning went well. The service technician was prompt, courteous, and did the work in a timely manner. He was also careful not to get water on my downstairs hardwood floor while getting his hose and cleaner upstairs where the carpet was located. When he saw the tile bathroom floor he was supposed to seal after cleaning the carpet in the adjacent room he exclaimed that he would not touch it. He criticized the COIT salesperson that bid the tile job and tried calling him supposedly on his cell phone. He neither talked to the person nor left a message but said he would see him back at the shop/office. He added the guy should never have bid the job for the price that was quoted and refused to do the work. Rather than have a mad technician in my house I told him not to worry about it and that I would get someone else to do it. I did tell him I was very disappointed in COIT and that it was not what I expected at all, as to the tile. The carpet cleaning was done well and looks great. I was surprised as I heard from a friend that COIT was great but my experience was turning out mixed. I have slightly altered my original review on Angie's List which was recently done, as within one day of posting it a COIT official, Scott, called me. He asked if we could talk about the issue which I willingly agreed to do. He indicated he would like to hear the whole story. After hearing it he agreed my account was accurate, but added that he wanted to try and correct the problem by sending out a staff member who is well experienced in tile cleaning/sealing. His observation was that the technician who came to my house should have followed through with management to further address the unresolved issue of my tile that still needed sealing. I have an appointment with the COIT tile specialist on a Saturday since that is most convenient for me. An update will follow when the COIT folks come out next week. I am hopeful for a positive outcome. Update: Saturday January 26, 2013 a very competent tile technician arrived at the exact time he indicated by phone that morning. He carefully sealed the tile, gave me some advice for future care, and is working on a bid to clean some other tile in the house. I changed all the grading that I had indicated as "B" to "A". I previously graded "Professionalism" as "C" and changed that to "A" as well. Overall- mistakes happen and some employees make them. When the owner offers to correct a mistake or shortcoming in a sincere manner, I see no reason to ignore that effort. In this case, it has all turned out how I initially believed it would be - so "A" is the grade I believe best describes the final outcome. If you have tile issues, ask for Travis! They did an excellent job and also provided us with replacement pads. We have since ordered additional pads from them which they quickly delivered to us. Very professional company with neat and courteous personnel. I highly recommend them.

Making the appointment was very easy and the call center lady was very nice. I called on a Monday or a Tuesday and they were able to come out by Friday and I chose the which hours were best for me. The technician called the day of the cleaning to confirm the hours he would be arriving. Now unfortunately he was an hour and a half late and didn't call to tell me where he was until after I called the call center to find out where he was. Even being late the technician was very polite and friendly. He cleaned the carpets fast but effective. He even helped me put my big furniture back in place. The company doesn't charge extra for pet stains but they do charge for a deodorizer which he gave me for free since he was late. My carpets look great and I would recommend Coit to anyone.
