Description of Work: I understand ""Custom"" cabinetry is high, but... I had to pay a $160 fee for an estimate to drive 20 minutes to my house and take measurements ""since he is a small operation"". We discussed pricing over the phone before the visit and discussed the price was generally 40% more than purchasing a vanity type cabinet. I was looking for a bathroom vanity that was around 64"" to fit my total gap. The quote ended up being 500% more than the 60 Restoration Hardware Cabinet I liked...

Description of Work: He cut down our half wall on our stairs. He incased it in beautiful thick molding, that I was able to choose from choices he gave me. He also extended the molding and incased an opening into the living room. Christofer Bradley Cabinetry did an amazing job. I found him on Angie's List. He was very professional, kind, showed up on time with all the supplies and tools he needed. When the painters came they were amazed and stated, "He did an amazing job, we paint a lot of houses and we have not seen this fine of craftmanship." I felt safe with him in my house and never felt uncomfortable. I would definately use him again and would highly reccomend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Christifir placed crown molding throughout the house, added some thresholds, applied cabinetry trim and door trim. EXCELLENT JOB. He also made a custom cabinet for our fireplace. We wanted it covered because we never use the fireplace. You can't even tell there was a fireplace there. I would HIGHLY recommend him. He came every day and worked 8 hours. When he left each day, you couldn't even tell he was there except for the work he did. No dust, no tools lying around etc. Performed work as promised.

Chistofer was very profession and open to suggestions on design features.Would have no problem moving forward with company when project time and budget move forward.

Description of Work: Since our last posted review, Cris has returned for two more projects. (total of 4, now) I thought I had posted reviews, but just discovered I did NOT. I should have, since Cris now has become almost a member of the family, returning, it seems, for another major remodeling project at least every year. He undertook a huge remodeling project for our 1954 family/guest bathroom. The project became a monster once underway, but there was no for for anyone to have predicted how difficult and time-consuming it would become. We did go quite a bit over budget, but the work once completed was better than we ever could have imagined. In fact our local newspaper featured it in their home improvement magazine. I think pictures have been posted. We get oohs and aaahs from everyone who visits and we are very proud to have guests using it. Few would notice the superb quality of the work, but every line is perfectly plumb and level and the details (if you know where to work) are phenomenal. Cris works to his own standard, unlike any worker we have ever had, and even work which will never be seen or noticed is top quality. Our next project was a substantial hallway and closet remodel which turned a very old, tired part of the house into something truly elegant, which we try not to show off. The closet space now has at least triple the usual space and is truly a pleasure to use. This project came in UNDER budget, like our previous experiences.

Description of Work: Installed pre ordered vanity cabinet and tall cabinet closet door. Also installed drawer pulls, cabinet knobs and fixed a cabinet door/hinge in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinet was another cabinet maker's finished product that I accidently broke.

Description of Work: Cristofir Bradley crafted fireplace pilasters, a built in TV cabinet, an equipment shelf, and a full mantle (all of this as a single finished product). He also modernized and updated a built-in book case.

Description of Work: Mr. Bradley came to our house to give us an estimate on a cabinet for our bathroom. He went over detailed information and laid out prices of custom cabinets versus prefabricated cabinets. He actually told us how to save hundreds of dollars. We would definitely recommend Mr. Bradley.

Description of Work: He was to build a plate rack for me. He and I could never seem to get together. Either he would have something else to do, or I would. The last time we tried, I had to leave at 5:30. I think he was to be there at 5 to give me an estimate, and I had spoken with him earlier in the day. He was busy but seeing me next. I had to call and leave him a message that I had to leave because it was 5:30. I did not hear back from him. He was always very personable and professional on the phone, but it just did not work out. It may have been a misunderstanding, but I decided to just let it go. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT DATE, BUT IT WAS EARLY SUMMER 2010.

Description of Work: I had Cristofir come out and build me a custom built-in wall cabinet to cover an entire wall in my dining room.

Description of Work: Our first experience with Cris was extremely positive. He is always very personable, professiional and creative. His work area was always spotless before we had the opportunity to see the work. We had a problem with a pocket door. He gave us a very reasonable estimate which we found quite acceptable. However once he got the door apart, he found the problem was less complex than expected and was able to repair it for litlle more than half the original estimate. The work was extremely good and left the door much better than it was originally. Because our experience with him was so positive, we commissioned Cris to build a custom bathroom cabinet. The quality of the work was really great--much better than anything we could have purchased anywhere, and it was custom-designed for the space and workflow needed. It is the most beautiful piece in our bathroom, functions wonderfully, and we enjoy it every day. I have no doubt it will last much longer than we. We continue to look for another opportunity to engage Cris and will as soon as we can.

Description of Work: We engaged Cris to fix a broken pocket door. He finished the job in one third of the estimated time, using only the existing materials and did such a fine job of replacing the casing which had to be removed, it makes the other side of the door (done by someone else) look bad. He reduced the estimated cost very appropriately, and the door works better than ever.

Description of Work: I have used this man for a number of projects throughout our house, the most recent being a shelving system in our closet. We've also had several pieces of furniture (cabinets and custom dog crates) made by Mr. Bradley. This last project was a basic shelf system to help us organize our closet a bit. He is so very professional, clean cut and courteous. His work is impeccable and he is incredibly fastidious. The cabinets he's built and installed for us are unsurpassed, everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are and how much they've improved the overall look of our kitchen. I cannot recommend him enough!!! And he loves our dogs!!
