He did come on time to perform the service. Brought in the hose to drain it into the bathtub and also to,d me that it should be done annually. I asked him about fixing a faucet drip. He told me I would need a new faucet that would cost $250. And that the faucet would have to be rebuilt. After he left I did have to call another plumber who fixed the faucet in 10 mins and did not require a new faucet.

I've now had Josh from United Plumbing do three different jobs: replumbing as part of a kitchen renovation, replacing a broken water heater, and (today) installing some hardware to reduce water hammer caused by my washing machine. In each case, I've found him and his co-workers to be polite and prompt. More importantly, as far as I can tell the quality of the work has been very good, and the prices have been reasonable. I will definitely call them next time I need plumbing work done.

My husband noticed water gurgling from the ground around our water meter so I called CUB and they came right out and shut off the water to our house. They determined that we had a water main break on our side of the line(isn't that how it always goes!!). They were very nice and told me that I needed to contact a plumber to repair it. having used United plumbing before, I called them. It was 2pm at the time and they said they would be out between 3 and 5pm that day. At about 3pm, I received a call from Wayne staing that he was on his way. In the meantime, my husband dug up wher we thought the break was to see exactly what wew were facing. When Wayne arrived, he assessed the situation and was able to have usreaired and with water again in no time. Since my husband had dug the hole, he even took some off the bill!! How is that for service!!!

It went very well and I was pleased with the special deal.

Josh Williams, the plumber, came out. He was on time and explained what he was doing. He was very courteous and professional. I have kept his card for any future needs. I would highly recommend him.

Wayne wasn't able to totally resolve my problem. He checked the toilets and snaked the lines to clear any obstructions. Since he didn't carry longer equipment to check the whole line, he recommended a specialty drain service company (no plumbing) with the equipment to check further. He also felt that the 1960s toilets could be the problem; and while I don't disagree, the problem seemed to come on rather quickly. But I appreciated Wayne's assistance and would use the company again. UPDATE - The drain company indicated that the problem with my two toilets was a result of my placing "blue santizing" disks in the toilets two months ago. They become a blue sludge that sits in the tank and flushes with the water. Pieces of the not-quite-dissolved" sludge were blocking water holes in the toilet. The drain company suggested rurning off waterr, flushing tank, moving remaining "blue" and putting CLR down the water hole and allowing to sit overnight; then turn on water and flush. I did this and the toilets are working perfectly. Plumber needs to add this to his tool kit.

CALLED UNITED PLUMBING AND WAS TOLD THE PERSON TO WHOM I SPOKE WITH WAS UNABLE TO COME OUT TO MY HOUSE, BUT HE SAID HE WOULD CONTACT ANOTHER TEC AND WOULD CALL BACK. I RECEIVED A CALL BACK WITHIN, I GUESS, 10 MINUTES. TEC WAYNE RETURNED MY CALL AND SAID HE HAD JUST FINISHED AT A SITE IN MARYVILLE AND HE WOULD COME ON OUT. WITHIN 45 MINUTES, HE PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY. HE INSPECTED MY WATER SUPPLY LINE AND QUICKLY DETERMINED THE PROBLEM WAS WITH MY HOT WATER HEATER. HE SAID IT COULDN'T BE FIXED IT BUT HE WOULD GO AND PICK UP A NEW WATER HEATER, GIVING ME A FIRM PRICE ON THE UNIT AND INSTALLATION, INCLUDING TAX. HE SAID HE WOULD INSTALL A 50 GALLON HOT WATER HEATER, REPLACING THE WORN OUT 40 GALLON, TELLING ME THERE WAS ABOUT $30.00 DIFFERENCE IN THE PRICE, UNLESS I WANTED TO STAY WITH THE 40 GALLON SIZE. ASKING WHERE THE CLOSEST HOME BUILDING SUPPLY WAS LOCATED (AS HE WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS AREA), I TOLD HIM LOWE'S AND HOME DEPOT WERE BOTH LOCATED ACROSS THE INTERSTATE FROM EAST TOWN, ABOUT 15 MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE HE WAS GONE ABOUT AN HOUR AND RETURNED WITH THE NEW HOT WATER HEATER AND THE PARTS HE NEEDED TO INSTALL.HE WENT TO WORK, DRAINING, DISCONNECTING AND REMOVING THE OLD WATER HEATER AND SETTING UP THE NEW ONE, CONNECTING ALL THE PARTS AND PIECES. INSTALLATION WENT SMOOTHLY AND FASTER THAN I THOUGHT. WHEN HE LEFT HE SAID I SHOULD HAVE HOT WATER IN ABOUT AN HOUR, WHICH I DID. I THOUGHT HIS AD SAID THERE WAS A DISCOUNT FOR SENIORS, BUT I DON'T THINK I GOT THE DISCOUNT, OR MY INVOICE DIDN'T REFLECT IT. ANYWAY, I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING UNITED FOR ALL PLUMBING REPAIRS TO MY HOME WHEN NEEDED.TEC WAYNE, WHO OWNS THE COMPANY, WAS A VERY KIND, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL MAN. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT HIM OR HIS COMPANY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME SHOPPING AROUND. IF YOU WANT DEPENDABLE, FAST, EFFICIENT SERVICE, THEN CALL UNITED PLUMBING.

He was punctual, quick and efficient. A very pleasant worker.

Wayne was very professional over the phone and gave me a two hour window that day when either he or Josh would be coming. He told me that I would receive a call prior to their arrrival. Josh called, as promised, and arrived on time. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems I was having with my toilets. He provided me with options and the costs associated with each option. We decided on a course of action and he completed the work promptly. He rebuilt two toilets within the hour at a reasonable price. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I highly recommend United Plumbing and will certainly call them again if I have plumbing problems.

They really take the time to talk to you so that you understand it. He cleaned out my water heater and talked about the quality of the merchandise. He didn't rush the job. Some of the bigger companies are in and out. They are delightful to work with. I think Josh is the one that came out.

He came out right away and did a great job. He lets you know what he's going to do before he does it. He gives a discount for Angie's List members. When you call him, you can reach the worker on the cell phone. His name was Josh, and he finished up the work right away.

Wayne came out to provide an estimate for all three jobs, automatically subtracting the discount he had offered on Angie's List without even seeing the coupon. The water line was $1,200, which was $800 less than an estimate from Scott's. The work was not only done well, but they even covered the digging in the yard with sod rather than just using grass seed. A new washing machine had been causing a banging sound in the pipes. The hammer arrester made that totally silent. I'll definitely use United in the future.

Great. Wayne was referred by Matt's plumbing (who I had gotten from Angie's list) because Matt was not gas certified. Wayne (and Josh) were polite, friendly, reliable, and punctual. They were conscientious about cleaning up.

Class act job, would re-hire again.

I called Tuesday and scheduled work for 8:30 AM on Thursday. At 8:15 Wayne called to tell me he had to respond to an early morning emergency call and would be about 1 hour late. He called back within the hour to say he was enroute, and arrived promptly as announced. Drove a clean & well maintained truck which was to indicate the caring attitude he demonstrated in his work. He took his shoes off in the garage without me asking, since the driveway was wet. He performed the work carefully, showing concern for how the parts were installed and was careful to not place tools on unprotected surfaces. He was receptive to my asking questions and my careful observation of the work in progress. We also discussed the "how" ... "why" ... and cost of installing a hot water recirculation pump in the future. I am very happy with the work performed. Wayne was a pleasure to work with and I definitely recommend United Pluming Company.

They are very prompt, thorough, and very well-priced. They are also very nice and polite. They also didn't make a mess and were professional.

I called on Monday morning did not need to leave a message because Josh answered the telephone. He planned to come out to the house on Tuesday. He arrived on time. He explained the cost difference in replacing the hot water heater with the same model vs changing to tankless. He also reviewed changing from electric to gas. We decided to stick with electric traditional hot water heater tank. Josh instructed my Husband in maintenance to perserve the life of the tank. It took 2.5 hours for him to remove the old tank and drive to the warehouse for a new one and install. He also ran a water line to our ice maker in the refridgerator. He was clean and respectful. Excellent job. Will use United Plumbing again and encourage others to use them as well.

They are excellent. The owner was overly helpful. He came back to check the work after it was done. They gave me an Angie's List discount. I did not pay very much. He took a big trash bag and put the commode in it. He cleaned it all over before he put it back in. I would most definitely use them again.

Josh, the technician, was on time and did a great job. He unclogged both drains and was very professional. He gave me a discount when I told him I found them on Angie's List. I would have given them an A on everything except I thought they were a little high. But I would use them again.

I called United Plumbing, and Wayne was very professional and helpful. He said that they would give me a free estimate and would be there within two hours with a 30 minute heads-up call. I received a call from Josh within 30 minutes of talking to Wayne. Josh said he would be at my house within 30 minutes - and he was. Water was gushing into my yard, and Josh told me how much it would cost to repair the broken pipe and got to work immediately. He explained the process and what it would take. He was so professional and knew exactly what he was doing - no question. Josh showed me the broken pipe once he reached it, explaining that it was a type of pipe that could cause future damage (a blue max pipe - lawsuits filed against the manufacturer). He guaranteed the work he would do, and then also told me how much it would take to replace the whole line. He explained everything in detail, and I really appreciated it. Josh was finished within about an hour. I would definitely call United again - Wayne and Josh were great!

They were very courteous and very responsive. They called me back almost immediately. They came out the next day and were able to fix the problem within an hour. I will use them again in the future. The price was reasonable.

Wayne Pearson, owner of United Plumbing, is one of the best plumbers I have ever met. He and his staff are very professional and very knowledgable. They knew exactly what to do and did it right the first time. I would highly recommend United.

Very pleasant experience. Initially when I was looking for plumbers on Angies List, not all of them gave free estimates. United Plumbing did which was a Plus. Also was able to make appointment in a very reasonable time frame. Josh Williams was prompt, courteous and very professional. He showed up on time. Even though he had to go and purchase parts he finished in good time. I am not sure if we are allowed to ask plumbers to take off their shoes when they come into the house, particularly over carpeted areas. Would not hesitate to hire him again.
