Provider went out of business before furnishing services.

I contacted Angies List and they promptly refunded my money. Very impressive! Thanks Angies List for doing what is right and putting your customers first.

They did an excellent job. He came in and did a very thorough job and we have no complaints.

I purchased a Big Deal for Marshall Carpet Cleaning for upholstery cleaning. He cleaned a couch for me. The service went well. He did a great job. He came out a month after I purchased the Big Deal, but that was more of my schedule than his. There were no extra charges to the Big Deal. He absolutely did a very good job. The couch looked ten times better when he was through than when he started. The pricing was very good because I had the Big Deal. I would not use him again because when I tried to use him again, I could not. I was never able to reach him.

He was very good, fast and obliging. The price was also very good. He was reliable and I would recommend him.

The service was great. They cleaned the carpets in a bedroom and the living room. I paid additional to have them clean the carpets on the steps. I would recommend them.

He did a really good job, but the stain is back. I don't know if that means a new carpet or what. I got them off Angie's List. The stains stayed away for a while, but one of the stains came back as it dried. They were in and out really quickly, and did a good job.

They didn't charge me more than the price of the deal. They were very punctual and did a great job.

It turned out very good. They did a nice job and they were prompt. They did well and they came out within a week or so after I purchased the big deal. They were able to come over in a short period of time and there were no extra charges on top of the deal. They were very polite and professional. I would certainly recommend them. Their price was also inline with what I expected so I thought that it was fair.

They did a very good job. Scheduling was easy. I had a spot on the carpet that I didn't expect that they would be able to anything with but the carpets were much cleaner than I expected.

So we paid for an Angie's List "Big Deal" which is now worthless since the provider is now out of business. So screwed out of money and now very p***** off. Needless to say, DO NOT work with this vendor in this incarnation or any other. AND think twice before doing any Angie's List Big Deal.

We had an appointment with them to clean our carpet the afternoon of 2-6-14. When they didn't show up at the appointed time we called. There was a message saying they were out of business and to call another number for a different company. We called and they told us Marshall's went out of business the weekend before and had given them all their commercial accounts that had been scheduled but not the residential. I think the least they could have done was to call in advance and advise us. We had moved all of our furniture around expecting them to come. I think they were very rude.

When I bought the service, I received an email from Brian Marshall about scheduling the cleaning. I told him that it didn't need to be done until after the holidays. (I ordered it in Dec.). He sent an email sometime later and said he would come on Jan 3. I responded that Jan 10 was better for me. I did not hear anything, so I was ready on Jan 10 having moved all furniture off the carpets. After he didn't show, I attempted to call him several times but only got a voice mail. At that time I contacted Angie's List, whom was very helpful. Brian did call after a day or so and said his equipment was being repaired. I said I understood, but I would have appreciated him just returning my call. After several phone calls, he scheduled for Jan 28th but due to a family emergency he was not able to come, but said he would come the next day. Because we had a snowfall and our driveway is steep, I told him to wait until the end of the week when the weather improved, but again no response. I also called his number, but only got a voice mail which was not returned.

It looked better than it had in years and I could tell by my socks not being dirty when I walked a lot over the carpet it was indeed clean!:) After a couple weeks it began looking a bit matted down as before but it's only 30 years old.:)

All the carpets look super. It looked better than I've seen in years. Of course, two weeks later it didn't look that good because it was an old carpet, it was three years old. But it looked great for awhile until traffic...walking back and forth. The thing I noticed before he cleaned it I could walk across the carpet with my white socks on and for a day the bottoms of my feet will look dirty. But after he cleaned it I don't have it anymore. He cleaned it pretty good.

Excellent! Brian provided excellent service, prompt scheduling and communication and worked extremely hard. Would not hesitate to recommend or schedule work with him in the future.

The provider contacted me through Angieslist.com to set up a time. We finalized the appointment for 1/31/2014 at 8am. The provider was a no show, I have attempted to call and email with no luck. We took off work and made sure to have all the furniture moved so the carpets were ready. We would have preferred a confirmation call yesterday to make sure they were coming. I am frustrated that we have made all the efforts to accommodate the provider and he has reciprocated.

Brian Marshall did a FANTASTIC job on 2 area carpets.

He had to change dates because of some equipment issues and wanted to come a week later than he did but I explained that we were moving and his service was the last one we needed done before the move-in. He said he would be there at the arranged time and if he was unable to do it himself, he would find someone to do it and that he has a lot of contacts in the business. I really appreciated his flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to help me keep to my move-in schedule. The carpets were really bad - the previous owners had dogs and I explained this to him. We would have preferred just to take them up but that is not in our current budget. He said he would do his best but could not guarantee all the stains would come out. He also recommended a pet treatment to make sure there were no urine crystals left in the carpets and explained that the treatment gets rid of the odors and doesn't just mask them. It was an extra $30.00 and we agreed. The carpets turned out much better than we had even hoped for. We will still be removing them as soon as we can but in the meantime, I feel that they are much less of a health hazard than they were and they no longer smell bad. I can honestly recommend Marshall Carpet Cleaning to others needing carpets cleaned. He gave us realistic expectations, offered solutions to specific issues that were present but did not try to sell us unnecessary treatments. He was also very willing to help us keep to our schedule even to the point of getting someone else to do the job if he was unable to. I am glad that that turned out to be unnecessary. He was also on time for the appointment.

On Time, but I was not satisfied with the price. I had already paid 89.00 for the Angie's list special that was suppose to be regularly 169.00. It was for 3 rooms and deodorizing. I wasn't told that they charge extra for each step they did. It ended up costing me $204.00 to have 2 rooms and 2 sets of steps cleaned and was charged extra for deodorizing for animal stains that didn't come out. The guys was very nice, but I wouldn't use them again, just because I was charged so much extra and the service I paid for was for 3 rooms and he only had to do 2.

Price was reasonable, quality was excellent, they were quickly responsive, on time and professional. I intend to use them again. They were completely satisfactory.

Great ~ They were very professional and did a GREAT job. They worked very hard...my carpet was in bad shape. It looked wonderful when they left.

Brian Marshall was professional, right on time and his pricing was very reasonable. He spent two hours cleaning four bedrooms, a playroom, hallway and stairs. I am very pleased with his service and I would definitely recommend Marshall Carpet Cleaning!
