Description of Work: It was a very good experience. Willie is a super nice guy!

Description of Work: Demo and remove old driveway and walkways and install new concrete driveway (150'x50'), walkways and brick retaining walls. Baker Concrete put in what we wanted. Mr. Willie Baker personally works the site.

Description of Work: They did a great job on my basement slab. They were fun to work with and very fair.

Description of Work: They did not listen to much we asked for. In fact I made a drawing to show the details of the project, but they ignored the details, and when I insisted they do the wall as we had planned, they tried to pretend we had not asked for the original plans. I calculated the total cost of the materials and an avg. cost of the total labor. The total = $2800. The 30 foot long X 5 feet high 12 inch block wall took them 2 full months to build, and they did not fill in behind the wall with any gravel. They even tried to charge more than the $7500 at the end. I am considering suing.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the work that Willie and his crew did. I had a stone walkway that the weeds were taking over, and my hands won't pull them anymore. He concreted the walkway for me and added in the stone. I have become limited with my physical; would just like to add, he cleaned up perfectly.

Description of Work: I expected much more from this A rated contractor, given posted reviews and after talking with him. Very poor cleanup and attention to detail. Patio is poorly finished. When they pressure washed to expose aggregate, late in the evening, they did not clean up very well and concrete dried on every thing. Two patio doors splattered with concrete which I cannot remove. Brick wall splattered. Vegetation splattered. Black metal fence splattered. Grill splattered. Walkway poured too high, so existing gate would not open without scraping. Brick wall splattered. Walkway cracked in three places after drying over night, probably because no gravel base was installed. Concrete pooled on section of patio surface and dried. Willy, the owner did send two workers to clean up after I complained, but they were not very effective.

Description of Work: Replaced paver stairs that were potentially dangerous with cement stairs. Made great suggestions along the way.

Description of Work: My Driveway started to erode shortly after they finished installing the condrete. We wre not home at the time of the pour but wre told by my daughter and son in lay that the concrete was poured in a driving rainstorm We have consulted with independent experts that state the only repair possible is to replace the driveway. when Mr Baker came to see the results he claimed total non-responsibility for this problem His response to me was I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS and refused to take any action to repair or replace it.

Description of Work: They repaired the lower six feet of my driveway. They responded very quickly to my call. They were prompt at every turn from the initial appointment to two work days. Very impressive!
