Bought a new 12 year, 50 gallon, Rheem water heater at Home Depot with their 5 year protection plan and a new expansion tank. (12 year parts and now 8 years labor for top of the line Rheem gas water heater). Gary Baker (Scenic City Plumbing) picked up the tank -$50. Gary arrived as scheduled and quickly replaced the tank - $475. He answered questions, and was polite and courteous. He cleaned up after himself.. Two hours to complete a professional job that is now compliant with plumbing code.

Excellent job. Greg's truck body was totallty organized and neat as a pin. No lost time rooting around in a junk pile to maybe find a usable part. All my questions answered. I'll ask for him again if needed.

I thought that the price was a bit high. I had to use my credit card and was also required to pay the 3% credit card charge. I looked up the exact same water heater on Home Depot website. The price was $1154. Having said all of this, the installation appeared to be quite labor intensive, and the service was excellent, so overall I'm satisfied.

Leak was repaired on day of contact. Due to high water pressure from the water company it re-ruptured three days later. They returned and repaired the line placing another pressure reducer valve at the street valve. Workers and company were professional during the entire process of repairing my home.

Called and left a message at 6pm, they returned my call the next morning at 8:30am and worked me into their schedule. The workers arrived at noon and had the line dug up and repaired by 3pm. I have used them for years and it is always a pleasure to do business with them.

Replaced water heater promptly and plumbers were very courteous. Placed paper on carpet to avoid stains and cleaned up well when finished.

I called at 8 AM the following morning and the repairman was there before 11 and had the repairs completed by 12:15. Upon removal it appears that it was leaking for a while and finally let loose. Very thorough and professional, explained the warranty, and was reasonably priced.
