Derryberry charged us $89 to tell us it would cost $2000 to fix the unit or $7000 to replace it. I called another company and they came out and fixed the problem for $800. The only things wrong were the the condensation drain was stopped up which they fixed by installing a pump in the pan and the coils needed to be cleaned in the unit. They also checked and cleaned our other 2 units. Companies like Derryberrys try to take advantage of people by being dishonest and overcharging. I will be sure to let others know about this! I will use Jaypro hvac in the future.

I cannot express my gratitude to Derryberry’s Air and Heating of Gallatin. We found them online through Angie’s List and we checked reviews there and on Yelp. We purchased our new home prior to completing the sale of our old one. My husband moved into our new (previously owned but vacant) home and found that the HVAC was inoperable in the middle of the Polar Vortex winter weather system. We received several estimates, and Derryberry’s was not he cheapest, but their expertise, thoroughness, quality of the equipment, and willingness to work with my husband (a talented DIYer) made them our first choice. These guys knew their business. From the initial estimate meeting, to the scheduling and installation, everything went smoothly, as promised, no surprises, etc. They completely tore out the old heat pump and venting system, installed ALL new venting runs, upgraded gas lines (we changed from electric to propane) insulated all venting and installed a wireless thermostat, condenser, ION air purifier and HVAC. They cleaned up daily (this was a BIG project) and discussed all installation parameters or changes with my husband prior to doing anything. We liked the quality of their services so much, that we just had them return to quote us a secondary unit for an upstairs bonus room and zoned AC system for an enclosed solarium. My husband said that each of the workers, said goodbye and shook his hand each day upon leaving. Little things count. Thorough, honest, quality service providers. Thank you.

Derryberry's was polite and helpful throughout our renovation process. They had to install new ductwork in a very small crawlspace and through the attic during the renovation of a very old home. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased. The pricing and the warranty that they gave us were both better than another company that we had checked with for the exact same product. They completed the installation in a very satisfactory manner so we were very happy with their service. My husband dealt with them, he was very please and he is very picky. The installation went very smoothly. They were definitely there on time. Yes, I would absolutely use them again. They arrived on time and did what they were supposed to do. They did what they said they were going to do, sometimes that doesn’t always happen.

They were very good. They were good and they seemed like they really knew what they were doing. They didn't try to oversell anything. We would use them again. The price was very reasonable. My husband and I came home from our vacation and two days later the AC unit was on the fritz. We immediately called Derryberry & their technician was at our house within 90 minutes (it was July & they were backed up!) Great service and within minutes we felt cool air again. Will be using them for all of our HVAC needs.

I am very impressed with this company. Ethan was exceptionally friendly, professional, and detailed. He explained everything, and thoroughly checked both my furnace and air conditioner. A small problem was detected, which was fixed at a very reasonable price compared with what other companies charge. It is very hard to find honest, reliable companies anymore, and I am very grateful to have found Derryberry's Heat and Air.

My heating unit is like 30 years old. Everyone that came out to look at our heating unit told us that we had to have a whole new heating/air unit. Derryberry came out the first time and said that it just needed one little bitty part and because that it was so old it would take them two or three days to get the part. He made the call, and got the part that afternoon and came back fixed it and we have been with him ever since.
We had one company come out and say that our unit was shot and we needed a whole new unit. Another company came out and said the motor was burned up and we couldn't get one, so we needed a whole new unit. Finally they were the fifth ones that came out and he put thing on and said it was one little thing no bigger than a match stick. So he got it, he guaranteed it and said he would make it right. He said he was positive that I would have another 4-5 years out of my system and that I would still need another one shortly, and I have not needed it yet. They offer honesty.
