Often when you have a repair person come to your home to work on appliances, they make more money on the parts as they do on labor. About five years ago (after buying a home with lots of appliance problems)...I started telling service folks to let me know what parts they needed and buying them myself. This did not help me one little bit with lame service...but it did save me a great deal on the cost of parts. ApplaincePartsPros almost always has the best price on parts, the most availability, and absolutely the best costumer service. If it turns out you don't need a part, they will take it back and refund you. Try that with a repair person! As a part time Do-it-yourselfer, I have really appreciated their customer service. Most often you can use internet chat to work out what you need. These guys are definitely "Friends of Consumers". They had the knob I needed for a rather old gas stove. The knob, just a piece of plastic, cost $13.59. Shipping was very fast, but cost $6.95, more than 50% of the item cost. I only wished they had used slightly smaller packaging and had an option for slightly slower (and cheaper) shipping. But their web site was good in that it allowed me to find the right part for an older product, they actually had the part in stock, and their service was very fast.

Don't look for them via Angie's List....even though they are great!

Diagrams, Q&As, and Live Chats provide comprehensive How To info and directions for DIYers of any ability to access, remove and replace failed or worn out parts. I have ordered several parts for various kitchen appliances in the past and will continue to use AppliancePartsPros.Com if necessary in the future. I have saved a bundle of $$$ by replacing parts myself rather than paying for service calls. I highly recommend this Company. Went to this website to order replacement knobs for my GE gas range. It was clearly posted a 365 day no questions asked return policy. The items were listed as "in-Stock" and ready to be shipped. The price was very reasonable and I received my order the very next day! Will definitely use this website again!

When unit still did not work properly, they rebuilt it again at no charge, paying for the shipping each way. The range has operated properly since the repair.

I am at best an okay home repairman. More of an office geek than tool man. But when my clothes washer went on the fritz, I decided to try and repair it myself. I finally determined it was the washer agitator coupler from extensive web research and pulling out the agitator. Finding the right part was as easy as plugging in the model number for a quick search. Everything for the washer popped up by order of popularity. So if you have a common problem (which I did) the part is listed higher on the list. My part was right there and there is also a part diagram and most helpful - a video showing how to install the specific part! Higher recommend this site for do-it-yourselfers.

NOT a repair service. You CAN'T get anything fixed BY them. They will sell you parts. If I wanted eCommerce, I would have searched Amazon or Google.

Was able to fix dishwasher myself very easily. Baffles in the corner after opening the door; pulled right out and placed new ones back in. Dishwasher no longer leaking. (Happy we didn't have to replace the seal on the door as it would have been around $68 dollars plus shipping).

I place the order for my part after 2pm est. Received the next day with out requesting expedited shipping. Amazing service. Will recommend and use again. Thanks!!!!

Just great. Not the cheapest place, but a real winner

I contacted the chat center at AppliancePartsPro.com to determine if we could fix a refrigerator without having to call out a service technician and add additional cost. The chat session was with Tiffany. She was EXTREMELY helpful and courteous, although we have yet to determine if her diagnostics will work for our case (they are quite detailed). Our Amana side-by-side refrigerator/freezer is having problems with the refrigerator cooling. The vent is also not functioning. However, the freezer still seems to be working. Tiffany asked for the model and serial number, but it appears they have been scratched off the sticker (we bought the refrigerator used). Unfortunately, Tiffany said this will make ordering parts extremely difficult. Nonetheless, she agreed to walk me through how to diagnose the problem. She provided extremely detailed instructions that my husband and I will walk through later today. Given we don't have the serial number, I am not sure if we will be able to do anything once we diagnose the problem. But at least we have the opportunity to try to fix this on our own without calling out an expensive repairman. I will definitely use AppliancePartsPro.com for my future needs.

Parts received were GE replacements and an exact match. Very simple to switch out the broken auger in ice maker and relay for ice dispenser door flap. Very simple 1/2 hour job.

My dishwasher failed me this past summer and I diagnosed the problem as a bad inlet valve. I ordered a replacement from Appliance Parts Pro and they sent it right away. They sent me a link on how to do the install as well. I installed the valve and put the unit back in service very quickly. I was well pleased with the company.
