Description of Work: Power washed entire house, deck & driveway. Removed old stain from old part of new deck addition. Applied deck stain that I had already purchased. They did not apply the deck stain with the pads the manufacture advised so it did not cover as well as it could. They were prompt and did a good job otherwise.

Description of Work: Painted Master Bathroom and water closet. Called to see the job, showed up |shortly thereafter and asked to do the job on the spot. We agreed. It was mid |afternoon on a Friday and they worked until dark. Area around right side of shower was not done. this may have been because of the lighting through textured glass window over the tub (they may have missed it). Also, there were several paint drips which I scraped up after they had left. The job would receive a B. The company's owner left his 2 employees to do the job |They were polite and quiet. My only complaint in that regard was that one | of them was obviously a heavy smoker from the smell of his clothing. He had removed his jacket and placed it on the floor of our bedroom. That heavy smoke odor was with us for two days. I should have mentioned this to the owner but opted not to. I would possibly have more painting done in the future and request non-smoking employees. My grade for the job would, therefore, be a B. |A. Dees | |

Description of Work: I was contacted by Michael from Addisen Power Washing. I told him 2 or 3 things I needed done over the phone. He told me over the phone that pressure washing would cost quite a bit extra (which was one thing I needed done). I also need hardwoods laid in 4 small closets, and a transition strip put down at the top of my steps. When he arrived to look at the project, he immediately told me that the hardwoods in my closets would take well over 8 hours of work and I would be charged $50 an hour over the 8 hours. Since the pressure washing wasn't included in the deal, and I couldn't afford to go over the 8 hours work needed to complete my closets, I felt that I needed to come up with another project quickly (as he seemed in a hurry and I felt pressured and rushed). I did have a bathroom that needed painting. He agreed they could paint the bathroom in 8 hours, but that wouldn't include caulking around the ceiling which needed to be done. I told him that I would let them paint the bathroom. After he left I began to realize that my family members or I could paint my relatively small bathroom for free. I have painted it myself several times in the past. So I decided that I did not need to pay someone $200 to paint a room that I could paint for free. We are planning a wedding at my house, and I need every penny I have to go towards the wedding since I am a single mom. I was disappointed that they could not finish my closets, or do the pressure washing for $199. And there is really nothing else that I need done. My home has already been totally remodeled. I am only finishing up a few odds and ends that need to be done, and Addisen wasn't able to assist me with the most important things that I needed a professional to do. I felt that the ad was unclear about what all they could and couldn't do for the deal. I am requesting a refund, since I cannot use the service. Thank you! Kim Weaver

Description of Work: roofing work. unskilled workmen left by contractor to do work without supervision. I could not communicate with them as they could not speak English.They did their best to do a good job, but i would require better skilled workers the next time.

Description of Work: i hired the Addisen company before for painting a playroom. I was very happy with them. So, I hired them several months later to repair minor damage to 2 ceilings. What should have taken a couple of hours took 7 hours and then I was charged additional money above what I already paid through Angie's List. It took one person to cut a 2x3 ft hole an hour. Because Michael had left the site for 3 hours (he said he would be gone for 1 hour), the other 2 workers had nothing to do, but, wait with me for Michael's return. Finally, I asked the one worker to call Michael to find out when he planned on coming back. I was paying for every minute for the workers to be idle. Mike, finally, arrived back at my house only to finish what the workers did not. Then, Mike said for him to finish the job, I had to pay more money. I didn't have a choice, I had to pay. What should have been $79.00 for these repairs turned into $400.00 plus for the job to still be unfinished. I will NEVER use this company for anything again.

Description of Work: First, I am very satisfied with the amount of work that was done for the price. However, the "Four Hours of Professional Landscaping" consisted of two Mexicans being dropped off after lunch, with only basic instructions as to what was to be done. They worked very hard and accomplished more in two hours than I would have in a week, even though they had limited English and needed constant supervision. They transplanted, planted, and raked. So far the planted things seem to be living. After exactly two hours, the two workers were picked up. There were piles of leaves left in the yard that I had to clean up before city collection the following day, so that kept me busy until almost dark. | This experience, while not bad, makes me hesitate to have them do anything requiring unsupervised skilled labor.

Description of Work: Cleaned, sanded and stained deck, with 2 coats. of stain. Very well done; clean and left no residual debris; on time and worked quickly to complete job within both of our expectations. i will likely use Michael and his team for other work, including landscaping, because of their performance with this job.
