Do not use the service department. they are the worst. I've been using them for five years and they are terrible. The service department is horrendously awful. I refused to use them this year, I went to Midas and they were excellent. They were supposed to do a whole checkup on my car, tires, brakes and everything else. They were so interested in selling me tires that they sent me all the way to South Florida and all the way back on bad brakes. I will never use them again. I complain numerous times, everytime I go in there I complain. I've been under warranty for 7 years. I've had a contract with them for 7 years, and I've been using them up until last year. Everytime the car would come out they wouldn't fix what it went in for, they would call me with some other estimate of what they found wrong. I would authorize that repair, and I would get the car back, but the thing I brought it in for was not fixed. They didn't bother to fix the breaks. They were terrible. they took me as they scheduled me, they fixed the things that they found that I did not request. The car was delivered on time back to me. They need to replace the people that took the cars in, not the repair people. None of those people are there, they replaced them all since I've been there. They keep firing and hiring the people that work there in the service department, not the repair people but the intake people. They just keep replacing them and they're just awful. There's a huge amount of turnover, in just those four people that take the cars in. Once the mechanic gets there hands on the car they do a fabulous job, but trying to communicate to the mechanic what needs to be done through the intermediary staff is impossible. They're not getting the proper information from the people who are taking the cars in. I hand my car and the keys off, they write up an invoice. I'm communicationg to them what needs to be done, and they are not communicating to the mechanic what needs to be done. The price is good. Once the work was done, the mechanics I'd give them an "A". The intermediary's, I'd give them an "F". I could always ask questions, they always pick up the telephone, they returned phone calls, and they got back to me when they said that they would. I would never use them again. They sent me 2500 miles on bad breaks, the reason I brought the car in was for the breaks. I don't think people should go in with expecting good service and coming out with things still not fixed.

I was very satisfied with my overall experience and in particular with Mark, my service advisor.  I had an electrical problem with a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee.   I called one afternoon and talked to Mark.  With the holidays, I expected it would take several days to get an answer on my vehicle.   However, they looked at it that day and provided me with an answer that afternoon!.   The price to fix the vehicle was reasonable and the work was done correctly and  on time.   I could not ask for anymore than the service I was provided.    I know dealerships have reputations for ripping people off.  I did not find this to the case.   I would recommend taking your vehicle to Nashville Dodge for any service needs!!!
