my garage door glass being broken because Paco left something leaning against it and I did not see it, the fact they did not cover the hot wire on the deck correctly and it shorted out my fuse, the fact that you did not use proper coverage in the master bathroom to prevent dust from entering the closest and now causing everything in there to be rewashed or dry cleaned, that fact that my jewelry is missing and Paco and the other gentleman was downstairs alone while we were discussing you taking out my linen closet that both projects would be finished within x amount of weeks with workers showing up and a contractor letting us know that he was or was not coming to work on the house that day. Add on's, changes and surprises, added some of the delays, working around an unmanageable house dogs schedule (beautiful animal) and having to wait to get to supplies behind garage doors that were relocked after every time we entered thru the day, not answering the door when we knocked. Perhaps if we knew what days he was going to show up it would have made life easier. For most of the project it was a hit and miss deal and we never knew anything until they were The few times they did show up and they rang the bell or knocked I let them in to get the materials In order to get my bathroom done, we had to place the dog in day care/boarding. We did that one week May 19th -24th and Mr Tennihill was asked several times when they are ready to work on the bathroom, let me know and I would get the dog over there. He never did. Trying to figure out why the dog being in the house was such a problem to him while working on the sunroom. The only add on was a third skylight which was done after he put two in places we were not expecting. The other so called add ons were heat/ac in the sunroom which we discussed in March when this project was started and after he removed my linen closest, we decided to add another wall between the tub and the existing water closest wall to make a new closest. The wall where the linen closet was, my husband and I planned to take it on and work that area ourselves, putting up a river rock wall and a towel warmer. Since the bathroom also had not been started, we found new doors for the water closest and the new linen closest. I showed it to Mr Tennihill one day in May at home depot and he told me not to purchase the 48" but get the 60" which honestly still seems to large especially for a 48" space. Should I keep my garage door open every day they decided to show up in case they needed materials. I don't think so. We have a motorcycle in there, tools and other items that could walk away. I also did not want them with the door open to be able to enter my house and pass through to get materials to the deck quicker.
Description of Work: Deck extension, gate and staining not completed. Project 2 foundation raising.. Projects 3 and 4. Four seasons room on existing deck and total renovation of master bathroom. Contractor walked off the job after screwing up the four seasons room .. will not return calls to anyone. In his mind he knows what he is doing, but when the hammer and lumber get into his hands, all creativity is gone. The only list that really came out was after the project was started and he realized he did not have the proper materials to build the sunroom to code. How can I be charged extra labor when he clearly stated at on May 5th the price for the room was a FIRM 10,260. Firm means no unexpected labor charges and now that is what he is trying to get me for. The approval was for the homeowner, not the contractor. Most of the times where he was called to say there were coming, he was almost around the corner, not in Simpsonville, close to 45 minutes away without any traffic. Otherwise we would have waited a lot longer. We also asked if it was possible for him to join us and most of the time he said he would be there within 10 minutes. I did pay him for the mock up. 600.00 which is noted on an email around May 6th. So all I know, he most likely did overcharge me on that since I never saw a receipt for the materials. On the materials I purchased for him for the Connor Road project, he told me that since I spent my time ordering and getting the materials and arranging for their delivery I could keep that discounted amount for my efforts. I did that on two orders, and a third was placed so quickly for joists he forget, I made full price for them. That is what gave me the credit for the second half of the sunroom bill and it even exceeded that amount by close to 1300.00 This is also noted on a email around May 9th, Confused a few items? I do believe that Mr. Tennihill is referring to lumber which he gave the order to the Pro Desk one evening and when the order came (both mine and one for another project he was working on) he ordered the wrong items, blaming them on me and also Home Depot. The staff at home depot was excellent on pulling the materials he requested but suddenly they were coming back for other items. Not either Home depots or mine fault, but his. He also several times was late in getting materials lists to me which caused them not to be delivered until two days later (cutoff time Most of the items for the projects were ordered in May/early April before the start date of May19th. They were on hand when he started on the 20th. After that pieces like my doors and bay window were scheduled to arrive a week after the construction so that it would not get broken. Due to the fact things were not completed on his end on time, home depot did hold on to a lot of the materials until I cancelled them on July 31st And has pointed a massive amount of blame for several items we had no relative to, that again has no validity. and what are those things,

Response from ABBY CUSTOM HOLDINGS
The defined member has not only gone over and above her duties as a homeowner contractor, she has overstated her position and pricing, she had given us RAVE reviews when she could add items for free, a copy of which I have, but when she had made so many add ons that it diverted from her project she had to differ blame to any one - it turned out to be us. She was working with the BBB until she was caught in a few mistruths and has slandered us across the web. She has refused to pay us upon completion after we were given an unobtainable time line deep into the project, after we had completed alternate projects for her and has again added projects we were never even asked to do. She had several contractors on her projects and our value was to improve on, and discredit their work to further her gain even to as far as buying her home originally and potential insurance fraud. I'm am very sure that your client has good intentions and has been misled somewhere within her project, I had even asked her several times and had attempted to " find the problem", but the cost and cure are not being divulged here. I believe there are some underlying problems here that are not coming to light. She had advised me not to contact her and that she was getting some others to complete the project as she vented in an e-mail. If this client was to promise to pay as agreed and work to the agreement we would surely complete our project. How else can I help? Harold Tennihill-President
