Precision Garage Door Service

He was prompt in contacting me & appt was made for the next day. He was on time & very efficient . Explained in detail what services he would be doing. Will use them in the future.

My expreince was not so great. I had to pay about $400 for him to tune up the garage door and I felt the door was working fine in the first place. I will not being using them again in the future.

Precision Door Service of Charleston had installed new doors two years ago. This was a routine check up.

He checked all components of the garage door, oiled the bearings and installed light bulbs. Very nice gentlemen.

One of the springs had broken on one of our garage doors and the pulley had fallen off the track. The repairman, Dennis, came out the day after we called to do the repair work. In reviewing the problem, we decided that since the doors were the same age and there were signs of extreme wear on both doors that he would perform the overhaul service on both doors. He had all the necessary parts with him so he got to work right then. It took him about 2.5-3.0 hours and now the doors work like new. And they're so much quieter! Excellent, prompt service!

There were no additional costs beyond the price of the deal. One technician came for the job and completed it in about an hour. It turned out real well.

I will certainly contact them again when I am in a position to replace my garage doors. I don't remember when they came, but it's been awhile.

The workers were professional and here at designated time. Although I didn't intend to get a new door, it has fixed all the problems that I've been having. In the long run it was more than I anticipated spending, but I am satisfied with the work.

The tune up went very well. We actually discovered that our rollers are worn out and need to be replaced so we have actually purchased another Big Deal from Precision Garage Door to do that work. They are coming out tomorrow, July 8th to perform the roller replacement.

Serviceman rewound cables in 10 minutes, charged me $150.00 then told me he was putting a lock on the door so it could not be used. It now will cost me $550.00 more to complete the job...which I could not do.....I am left with an unusable door after spending $150.00 for nothing.

Purchased the $39 inspection/tune-up package. I knew the mechanics on this door needed work/replacing and the door was so noisy I didn't want to use it. Andy and Dennis came out and did a great job explaining my options and the cost of any repairs. They were very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Even though they only came out to do a tune-up, they stayed and did all this work that day. What an excellent job they did and I love the results. I never thought this door could be so quiet! They were really nice and they did a great job. It’s good to know people just work on garage doors! We had a small problem with it going all the way down once he had left our home, but he came right back out and took care of the issue. I was really happy with the service

As noted, they found the problem on the opener (we had purchased the house last year so it was not brand new). They actually arrived a little early for the appointment which is unusual (in a good way) for a service provider. They were professional and did not attempt to sell us more than was needed.

It turned out quite well. It ended up costing extra. He put a new spring in and it was about $125 more. He came out shortly after the deal was purchased. We liked them very much. They didn't evaluate and give us a way to update, like an estimate or anything, but they did fix what we had and that's what we wanted to do then. So that was good.

Overall, it went well. The one problem I had was that they accidentally left a plastic cap over the remote sensor, which gave me problems. The technician came out for a second visit, discovered the plastic cap, and not it works well.

Very efficient. Jason was very engaging and answered all my questions.

He completed all the work, operated both doors a number of times and everything was operating much better and quieter than before the visit.
