They came out and completed the job quickly. However, when I had questions regarding the work, they would not return my calls.

I have been trying to get the quarterly inspection done on my hvac that I am paying for. I have tried for a year. Every time I schedule the appointment they call the day before and cancel. They have done this at least four times.

Responded immediately and got my AC running back to normal within an hour. Technician was very friendly and respectful to property...thank you

Went great. Maddie H. came by and found the problem with my old water heater. She setup the install for me. Bradley K. installed the new water heater the next day and did an excellent job. They replace our 14 year old central a/c and heat split system at our house. The entire process was professional and I would definitely recommend this company.

The staff at LimRic were exceptional. From start to finish they were willing to discuss and explain the problem and answer any questions I had. The office staff were prompt and knowledgeable. The technicians were professional, prompt, and respectful. I can’t imagine a better experience and look forward to a continued relationship with them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They were horrible. I'd never have them again. We thought they just really took advantage of us on price. They charged us just under $1000 for a simple replacement faucet that did not include the faucet, hooked up the dishwasher, and did a little bit of plumbing under the sink. I would not recommend them. They were very expensive and they also messed up the job, so we had to get someone else in here to repair it.

It was like a yearly contract thing. The price is probably comfortable. The work is good. I wasn't real happy with some things. I guess it would go under professionalism. Every time they came they tried to up-sell me on things. Like two years ago they told me my new unit needed to be replaced. I didn't think it did, and two years later its still running perfect. I feel like they were trying to up-sell me. It was something every time. The communication was good. The service was good. They did what they were suppose to do. I did feel like it got out of hand with things. The units were fine. That is my one biggest complaint with them.

They've done many things. They have done a variety of different things here. He did our hot water heater. He did gas to our barbecue gas grill, they installed the gas line. They have been out here a many times before. They are reliable, they're good, and they're good to work with. I would give them kudos for being upright, honest, and dealing with it very well. The workers that I came in contact with were professional, dependable, reliable, and fine.

Everything went great! It was an extensive job that took a full weeks worth of labor from two technicians. The installers were prompt, courteous, and trustworthy in and outside of our home. It has been a year and our house is still as comfortable as it has ever been. On top of being comfortable, our power usage has been cut in half! Definitely an added perk to help offset the cost. I would highly recommend this company in all ways. They may not be the cheapest, but you will receive quality work that they stand behind.

I received a call from the tech letting me know when the work was complete. After having an overall positive experience getting a new package unit installed for my air conditioning, I was confident that LimRic's plumbing service would be just as good and there wouldn't be any major issues. Immediately after receiving Matt's call, I got a text from our nanny stating that she smelled gas in the house. I told her to evacuate with the children and our dog and to have the tech re-enter the house to find the source and fix any leaks. Apparently, the techs DID NOT plug the gas line going to our old hot water heater upon removing the old heater. When they turned the gas back on to our house, gas freely flowed into our attic space and ultimately into our CHILDREN'S PLAY ROOM. Normally, I do not write extremely negative reviews, but our children are 11 months and 2.5 years old. This seriously endangered their well-being. After this experience, I have zero confidence in LimRic's plumbing department. I paid a small price premium above other estimates based on LimRic's reputation and the experience we had when we had our package unit installed last month. I felt the premium was worth it for the service we had when the unit was installed, and that it would be worth it this time when we had our hot water heater installed. I would like to reiterate that I had an overall positive experience with their HVAC department and would recommend LimRic, but ONLY for HVAC work. Minor concerns include: The mess that was left in the tub that we bathe our children in, even after the techs stated that everything was cleaned up. The hot water heater installation is complete, but the installation is not pretty - one of the lines going into the heater is not vertical because it is being pulled by a hose connected to it. A few semesters studying materials and fracture mechanics back in college taught me that any unnecessary stress is not a good thing. When I pointed this out, Matt assured me that this was okay and wouldn't cause a problem. At this point, I was having a hard time not losing my temper and I just wanted him out of my house, so I did not push the issue. Finally, the techs left zero documentation behind for operation of the hot water heater or warranty information. With the exception of the large amount of natural gas that was allowed to flow into my house, these other comments were minor. [Update as of 12/31/16]: The operations manager (Stephanie) at LimRic was seemed to honestly be appalled at the problems that we found with the installation and assured me that if I would have called that night, the deficiencies would have immediately been corrected. She seemed genuinely apologetic. She sent out a fantastic tech (Caleb) to take care of everything we found on our initial look, and he even found another major deficiency which he corrected on the spot - the dip switches for the heater were set incorrectly, and he was surprised we were even getting any hot water at all. He also corrected an additional deficiency we noted prior to his arrival (step 7 of the installation manual: installation of a condensate drain was skipped and the drain was pouring water directly onto our foundation as well as the power cord for the heater). Unfortunately, that night we also noticed that the techs who removed our old water heater caused some damage to our wood floors. I emailed and called LimRic the next day, and once again, they were sincerely apologetic. They informed me I could use anyone I was comfortable with to repair the floor, and that LimRic would pay the bill. Finally, one of their senior plumbers came out on Friday to finish wrap up a few things. My wife talked to him, and she said he was great and (again) genuinely apologetic. I don't think anyone should ever have as many problems like I did, but I can honestly say that LimRic's customer service is responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I also believe that had Caleb or BJ been on the job during the initial installation that this would have been an 'A' review from the start. Due to the problems that I had from the start, including what I consider severe safety issues, I cannot in good conscious upgrade the review past a 'C'. I will say that the service I have received over the last few days has gone above and beyond what needed to be done in order to correct any deficiencies, and that LimRic honestly wants to make each and every one of their customers happy. I would be completely willing to give LimRic another shot as well as recommend them, but based on my personal experience I would be sure to request either BJ or Caleb to be on-site during any work.

Can't praise the young man who came enough! He climbed into the hot attic and found our guess about leaking drip pan under unit was correct.. but drain line needed to be cleaned out .. which is done from outside. As it turns out, new staff members had thrown away the key to the security lock which protected the HVAC units on outside of building. While I ran to buy a huge bolt cutter to cut the chain, he climbed the fence with a ladder to access the drain line. Now. that is going truly "above and beyond" ... drain line cleared and no problems since then. Subscribed to their maintenance plan for office units.. so yearly cleaning, etc. should keep this from being repeat occasion.

Great! These folks are incredibly on the ball. Doug C. came.. diagnosed problem.. called in major part needed.. they were able to locate part locally .. another team member delivered it after a short while.. it was installed and we had heat before nightfall and the temperatures began to drop! Their personnel are so professional and personable. The company is large enough that there is usually minimal waiting time.. although as everyone knows.. first called, first served. Only fair. We subscribed to their maintenance plan for all Hvac units for house.. hoping to find future concerns before they render us heatless or sweltering during the next year.

I pay 195.00 a year. They just do a good job. The workers left work area clean.

The technician was polite and professional. He did not call before arriving, but did arrive in the two hour window. It was a pretty easy job so he only charged me the standard assessment fee.

It went well. They came on time, provided good service and they were reasonably priced.

First of all... if you had a ten star rating.. this would be the company to whom you should award it. Cannot say enough kind words.. grateful words about these folks. House was built in 1890 so any plumbing, wiring, heating and air... is not the usual run of the mill job. The house did not have air conditioning until about 25 years ago.. a few years before we purchased it. At that time, the owner had units installed that were strip electric heat and air conditioning. The house has a working boiler and hot water radiators. We replaced two of the four units many years ago with gas packs.. but one lower unit that just heats a seldom used area and the upstairs unit were not replaced. The upstairs unit has not be used for years.. but with a lot of house guests coming.. it was TIME! And while Lim Ric was coming to assess that situation, I, asked that they check the one older downstairs unit that wouldn't come on. The thermostat had been replaced about a year ago.. but at the present time.. it was not cooling. The first company representative came and agreed that the upstairs unit was a dinosaur.. it was a TWO seer and it was a goner. He checked the older downstairs unit and found nothing wrong with it.. thinking it might be a loose wire, he checked the thermostat connections... and found.. two AAA batteries that were dead! We had no idea the thermostat needed batteries! Quite honestly, he could have just told us to replace that unit. that it was also toast.. but no.. he asked for 2 batteries. and we had cool air. We will likely replace that unit in the near future anyway.. but that almost funny situation assured us that these folks are honest and are not trying to make a fortune at the customer's expense. The second young man who came was the sales representative and he appraised the situation and gave us an estimate on replacing the upstairs unit.. noting that it was NOT an easy job. We knew enough to know that was definitely true. But, the price quoted was very reasonable and we agreed immediately. It was obvious that Jason knew his business and would replace the unit with something more economical and energy efficient. We were surprised at the prompt installation service! Am sure there may be other times in the future when they have other jobs ahead of us.. and believe me, we will be patient. Lim Ric is worth waiting for. The two young men who did the installation were so personable and so complimentary of their employer. One knows you are in good hands when the worker bees praise the Queen bee! They both know that it is a company effort.. the owner appreciates the professionalism and quality work done by his people.. and the workers know that they make up the fabric of the company... but they can also appreciate the enormous investment that the owner has made in order to create jobs. Professional is the ultimate label here.. appearance, actions, words.. you name it. And the trucks are the most colorful vehicles on the Charleston area roadways! We have always taken comfort in dealing with one particular person or firm through our almost 50 years of marriage... it makes life easier when you know you are dealing with people you can trust. Our former HVAC professional has retired.. But, we now know that we have LimRic to help fill out our days in creature comfort! Just a great experience overall!!!

They are wonderful. They measured all our door openings, our window openings and they got us the right size unit for the home. We we just so impressed. He went up to the attic and they had to change the size of our intakes to make it larger. It was amazing what they had to do to make it right. They are just amazing. We'll be using them again if we needed to.

I have no complaints at all. They were very courteous and very efficient. I called them before they opened the morning after my unit quit working. They called me back within 30 minutes of opening, and were here to fix it very quickly. They were finished and gone within an hour! The price was also very reasonable, especially considering this being for an emergency situation.

They were very timely, I called in the morning and they were able to make an appointment and be on time in just a couple of hours. They remove the toilet and repaired the flange to be in better condition then when they started even though it was not what they came out for. The used a camera to inspect the line but found no issues. Overall a great experience, if a bit pricey for services performed. I've not had this done before so I cannot compare pricing to other local plumbers. I would use them again.
