I have hired Steven and his team on two separate occasions and both times the work was excellent and considerably less expensive then all the other quotes I got. For the first job I needed two dedicated 4 outlet 20A circuits ran from my Frog to the breaker box in the garage, a ceiling fan prewire in the Frog, and two power outlets, one behind my wall mounted tv in my living room and the other in my master bedroom. On average I'd say the 4 quotes I got from other companies varied from about $1250-$1500 and they all said that the quote was subject to change based on level of difficulty which they would determined once they arrived on site and made their personal assessment. However Steven's company quoted me $750 and honored that price after the work was done...meaning it didn't try and jack up the price of his quote after the work was finished. Based on the excellent work and pricing I hired Steven's company again about 15 months later to install another power outlet behind my wall mounted TV in my office and an outlet behind my crown moulding so I could power my LIFX strip lighting. Per usual the work quality was excellent and was very reasonably priced. I would def hire again if I needed additional work.

We had an issue with our panel that needed repair and Steven responded quickly to my call and arrived promptly to take a look at the work. We talked through the options and Steven actually noticed a second issue we had that needed attention thankfully. Later that night I had an estimate in hand - for two ways we could resolve the issue and prices for each that were both quite competitive with other quotes. We agreed on the work and got on the schedule. The friendly technician arrived promptly and got right to work, knocking out the repair very quickly. The work looked great and fortunately we were able to resolve everything with the lesser expensive of the options.

Steven was very professional from the estimate through to the actual completion of the job. Both he and his crew worked very hard, in the heat, to complete this job in one day. As a bonus at then end of the job, they came back when the hot tub was delivered, and hooked it up for us. Very nice touch. We had a 100 amp house panel, they made room in the house panel using wafer breakers to get space for our 100 amp breaker. They ran a line under the house clear over to the back corner of the house, where they put in an outdoor panel where the hot tub was going to be installed. They then added a 50 amp GFCI breaker. They used a trencher and trenched the backyard so they could run a 60 amp 240 breaker to the shed where we have a pump and lights. Then they ran a 120 breaker to the other shed where we wanted just electricity. We are very happy with the work.

Came out and within minutes figured out a solution to the issues we were having. Would highly recommend.

It went great!!! I couldn't have asked for any better results. All done in a few hours and very neat and clean. He originally gave me an estimate and that was painless, he then returned on time to complete the work and that too was painless. I got 3 other estimates done before signing up on angieslist and wish I would have found out about him first...the others were not even on time to give an estimate and they all told me they were unsure of how to do something and that the estimate would go up because they believed the job was going to have complications. Other companies told me I would have to get more vinyl siding because they would break it (and one company said they did not have a siding removal tool and I would need to get one) as well as I would need to fix and paint the interior wall they were going to cut out. Grounded Electrical Solutions LLC did not damage the siding or any interior walls. Steven's estimate was spot on and he was confident on being able to get the job done to my satisfaction in which he did! I would definitely recommend him and will use his company again without getting any other estimates done from another company.

Steven was prompt in coming by to look at what items I needed done as well as in getting me a detailed quote. He was also prompt in sending me the certificate of insurance I requested. I can't tell you how hard it was for me to find an electrician that returned my calls, sent me what I requested promptly, whose pricing was affordable, and who was licensed and insured (and I verified both of these items!). He was very patient as I had to reschedule him several times when a few family issues arose. He sent two of his employees to do the work and stopped by to get them started. Both employees were polite, efficient, professional, and very patient with my father-in-law who has early onset Alzheimer's. It was so nice to have competent contractors who know what they're doing, are prompt and efficient, and do top notch work. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them on all electrical work in the future as well as to refer all friends and family.

Steven was punctual and very efficient. He definitely knows what he's doing and can give you an overall sense of the scope of the work quickly. I think his price was very fair. I will definitely call him again with any future needs!

Steven was able to come out same day. He was very friendly and professional. He checked all issues that we were concerned about. Turned out a lot of our outlets were working fine, just have to turn a switch on the wall on. He went above and beyond by helping my father connect the dryer vent AND helped move the dryer in to place. Will definitely hire again.

Steve was very responsive to my initial call for a quote. He arrived when he said he would and was very straightforward in his pricing.
The day the work was to be performed he and his two person crew arrived when they said they would.  Along with me, Steve walked them through the scope of work, made sure I was comfortable and then headed to another job.  His two workers were professional and pleasant.  They interacted in a friendly and fun way with my family (two young girls and my wife) while staying on task.  There was no questionable language or behavior.  They also were happy to answer my questions and taught me a couple of things 
The work was completed generally as expected in a timely manner.  When having fixtures added or changed you should expect some sheetrock damage and dust.  Steve's crew did their best to limit both but, as the homeowner you should expect to cover your furniture, etc. and to do some cleaning after the work is done.  It's always best to ask lots of questions upfront so you are clear in your expectations and can then have a positive outcome rather than assume what service you are going to receive.
After the work was completed, Steve confirmed everything was done to my satisfaction.  One trim i.e. the light, was defective and I had an additional question on the location of a light.  Steve offered to send someone over, I didn't think it was necessary as I had provided the trims so I replaced it myself and, as I expected to have future work done didn't think the location question needed a visit but, he still generously had someone stop by the next day to make sure everything was as it should have been.
If you've tried to hire a contractor before in the Low Country, you know getting someone to show up on-time, be professional and reasonably priced isn't easy.  I can highly recommend Grounded Electric as they met all the expectations a reasonable homeowner could have.

Service was professional, clean, and timely. After coming by to inspect the scope of the job he quickly emailed an estimate that was acceptable. Future scheduling was done via text. Very easy to deal with. I would hire Steven again for future work.

Excellent.  Response to first call for estimate was prompt.  Scheduled service for a few days later.  Serrvice was provided on time and as estimated.  Taped wiring whee it was nicked and replaced a length of wire with new wire.  Returned promptly to fix one additional problem discoverred after he left.  Steve is polite and professional and I will defintiely use him again.

Steve and his team were prompt at returning calls, provided quick turnaround on quote and scheduling of work. Quote came in at a reasonable price for the work involved. It was a challenging project because we were rewiring lighting in plaster walls in a 1920s home. Work provided was exactly as quoted (no surprises) and charged exactly as quoted. I had complete confidence that they were doing an extremely professional and quality job.  They did excellent work and made the process easy and hassle free. It's intimidating to need and find the right contractor for work around the house. A small electrical fire is just one of those instances and I wanted the right people to do the repairs. Grounded Electrical was the highest rated company here so I made the call. Steven was very professional and informative from the very first phone call. I was asked to send pictures of the damages to quickly access the issue, the repair process was explained and I made my appointment. Craig is the gentleman that arrived the day of my appointment with all of the necessary equipment in tow. He explained the process again and started work. Craig was very professional, courteous and tidied up before he left as if nothing had happened. After he left, I received a call from Steven to see how things went. Very refreshing! I couldn't be more pleased with this company and the work they do. I won't hesitate to call them again for work or repairs in my home. Thank you!

Work was fast and great. There was a miscommunication but they were back within 12 hours to fix it, so no complaints from us!
