We own a 2 story rental home in Charleston on a concrete slab. After our tenant started complaining that he was getting very high water bills, we told him to contact a plumbing company of his choice. He was a member of Angie's List and he chose another very high rated company on the list to go out and look. That company said we needed all new water pipes and explained why. But I thought it better to get another estimate considering the price was very high. We contacted Louie at Servant Plumbing. His voice mail says he'll returns calls within 15 mins, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Seeing as how I was calling him on a Saturday night at 9:00 just for him to call me Monday morning, I never dreamed he would still call me. True to his voice mail, 10 minutes later he called me. I was shocked! I told him the issues we were having and also that we had another company come out on the list that was his competition. He didn't seem the least bit bothered by that. I was just being honest. He went out Monday morning and gave me en estimate that was actually a bit higher then the other company, but Louie gave me something the other gentleman didn't, confidence in his company and workmanship. I could tell he was a true 30 year master of his trade. I could tell he was not one for cutting corners or trying to save a dime here and there. He used the best parts and materials possible and took pride in his work. His confidence sold me. He started the job and had it complete within two days from start to finish. He main concern was trying his best to leave the water on as long as possible before shutting it down. Even though it took him longer to do it that way, he put in the whole system first and then only shut down the water at the last second to make all the final connections. All told the water was only off for a couple hours. That showed he genuinely cared. They cleaned up all their mess and left the place cleaner then when they started. I cannot possibly imagine having the job go smoother or better. He was an absolute joy to deal with, always answering my questions and returning my calls within 15 mins when I had questions. Truly, you cannot ever go wrong dealing with Louie and his company.

very very happy with this outfit: the message on the owners voice mail is: "leave a message and I will get back to you within 15 minutes- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." sure enough- I got a call back right away. i also received a call when the plumber was on his way. the job was taken care of quickly, smoothly, and bathroom was left without a spot.

We used Angie's list, found Servant Plumbing.We called them, discussed the issue. Communication was fast and accurate. They did root cause over the phone, and were exactly right.The appointment was scheduled fast.Josh arrived as scheduled, and gave us a call when he was on his way. The price was basically a service call, and the work was done fast and perfectly. The shower works great, and you can't tell any work had been done. Beginning to end, couldn't have been better.

Servant plumbing was very quick to respond, arrived on time or earlier, and performed the work as promised.

The problem was water dripping from the kitchen ceiling. A company I chose from the yellow pages were no shows after their initial visit. After joining Angie's List, I called Servant Plumbing. Josh was amazing. He stuck with me and finally identified the problem. He was polite, friendly, committed, and professional. I would highly recommend Servant Plumbing and will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs. Thank you Josh.

I found Servant Plumbing on Angies list. All their reviews were very positive.I called around 6:00 pm on a Friday! Got the voice mail message saying they guarantee a call back in 15 min. The return call came in 5 min.. Louie advised that Josh was on call and would be onsite within the hour. He was here in 30 min.. He was very professional and personable. He new exactly what needed to be done.I was very pleased with their service and workmanship. A very positive experience!!!!

I needed to have someone come out and check to see why the back flow in my garden was not getting water. Josh came out and looked to see what he could do to get the old one to work. Since the back flow was so old he recommended that I replace the one that I had. When he was at my house he was able to stop my toilet from running. Josh ordered the new back flow and came the next day to install it in the garden. I called my back flow tester and as luck would have it we ordered the wrong kind. Josh was kind enough to call my tester and got the kind of back flow he suggested that needed to be put in my garden. Josh came back out for a third visit and installed the new new one again and called the water company to request that it gets inspected. Josh went through so many hoops to get water going through my irrigation system in my garden. While we were waiting for the inspection Josh was kind enough to call and check to make sure everything was going great. Before he would come down to my house Josh would call to let me know he was coming, and if he was running a bit late he made sure he called to let me know. I know that I have found a plumber that I can call on in the future if and when I need someone again.

They came back the next day because my hotter to my bathtub stopped flowing. This problem was resolved with no questions asked and no additional. charges .

Went very well. He was prompt, curteous, and very knowledgeable about the service he performed.

I would give them an A+ if I could, An excellent job well done, outstanding customer service from both Louie at the start & Joshua with the work! I highly recommend other angies's list customers to give them a call.

Josh arrived exactly on time, evaluated the four problems, proposed solutions, and presented an estimate. He went to work immediately after I approved the estimate. He rapidly and competently fixed problems 1-3. He discussed the reversed cartridge with me. He was concerned about damage to the shower mechanism which might result if he were to work on it. He was reluctant to work on that problem, and I agreed. (It was a minor problem which did not involve any potential leaks or ongoing damage to the house.) He adjusted his estimate accordingly, and cleaned up after himself. Josh is honest, skilled, and very tidy. I would hire him again or recommend him to my friends without hesitation!

Very well. Repairman was very helpful and gave good advice. We had an inspection report because we had just bought a new property and he went over all of the plumbing issues on the report explaining what things needed to be addressed. While he was there he repaired a couple of the items and gave sensible advice on the water heater.

I called Servant Plumbing up because if a chronic problem I was having with water either not draining or backing up into the bottom of my dishwasher and I needed it looked at. I left a voicemail and they called back within 15 minutes. The fellow asked me a few questions about my circumstance and then asked me if I was handy with tools. When I said yes, he told me he was about to save me a $98 service call. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a incorrectly placed dishwasher drain hose and told me what I needed to do to fix it. I followed his directions and now, 3 weeks later, I can definitively say that the problem is solved. He really did save me nearly $100 and more importantly, that came out of his pocket. Because of his over-the-phone diagnosis of the problem and the free service that he provided, I will definitely be using Servant Plumbing in the future since I now know he has the best interests of the customer at heart. This will especially be important when the time comes to remodel the Master Bathroom. Thank you, Servant Plumbing.

Overall, quoted a very high price that would not fix the problem.

Joshua showed up on time. He gave an estimate of the cost of clearing the blockage. Joshua completed the work in a timely manner. I would have Servant Plumbing do any plumbing in the future.

Our toilet was making a very loud noise when it was flushed. They came the day after we called and the guy was nice and very fast. He listened to the toilet and recommended a solution. Within minutes, it was fixed. He even looked at our sink (which sometimes leaks) and suggested a solution for free.

My wife called on Friday afternoon during a new kitchen counter and sink installation when we realized the counter and sink installers were not going to hook up the sink and faucet. Louie set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon and finished in a couple hours. Real professional.

He spent 2 hours trying to replace the handle, with a kit that I supplied. The kit does not fit exactly because the toilet was 18 years old, but the handle now works better than it used to. It saved me a couple hundred dollars.

Called Monday morning 1/9/12; spoke with Louie; he said he would call back in an hour or so if that was ok; we were fine with that. 2o minutes later Josh called and said he could come by in afternoon if ok; we said sure. Josh arrived exactly when he said he would; performed all the work, except for the toilet replacement, and asked if he could come back the next morning with a new toilet and perform installation. Fine by us! The next morning, Josh arrived on time with toilet; installed it and presented a bill, which we considered more than fair. As can be seen - all "A's" A comment: I cannot believe what some of the people reviewed had to say about price & quality -- It was great! I don't know if they are from Mars or what, but they surely have no idea of costs and value!

On Thursday night, as I was leaving the house to walk my dog, I noticed that water was coming out of our garage. After opening the door and finding the light switch I saw that the expansion tank on the water heater had srpung a leak and water was spraying under high pressure into the garage. I turned off the water and gas supply to the heater and the next morning around 8:30 AM I called Servant and left a message on the machine (which indicated that I would be contacted within 15 minutes). I believe it took only 5 minutes for them to get back in touch with me and after i had explained the situation Louie (sp?) told me that someone would be at the house between 10:00 and 11:00. Josh arrived at 10:20 and it did not take him very long to switch out the tank, vacuum out the standing water that had collected in the base of the water heater, and to get everything back up and runnig again. An excellent job !!

He showed up exactly on time and went right to work. The vanity is somewhat undersized and the space he had to work in was small and cramped. He took about two hours from the time he entered the house until job completion. The faucet works just fine and there are no leaks. Coincidentally, my Rinnai water heater failed five minutes before he arrived. He took a look at it and, in that process, discovered we had a gas leak around the regulator of my propane tank. He did not charge me extra to do this. Since he was not an authorized service man for the Rinnai he couldn't start working on that. I had to call an authorized guy in. Louie gave me a definite impression that he was someone I didn't have to worry about overcharging me when he came to fix something. I found him to be capable, fair and honest and I would reccomend him as someone to call when plumbing service is needed.

They did pretty good and everything was done professionally. The quality of their work was very good.

In both instances Servant Plumbing responded promptly, stayed on the phone to talk me through damage control steps, arrived on the scene despite both instances occurring on a weekend, and their price was very fair given the circumstances. They also gave advice on other plumbing issues and directed me toward cost-saving solutions that even an unskilled guy (like me) could implement. Thank you Servant Plumbing - you have a fan here.
